I am neither of these. However, I splurged! And with the lower price it didn''t even hurt. Yes, it used to be priced at $499 (maybe even $599). I have loved using it. I actually use it after the treadmill for some extra core balance and abs exercises. I''m not heralding it as the latest and greatest exercise machine, but it is fun and I am using it... and I''m still on the first setting!I am 50 and I get tight muscles after I skate. I stand on this and it gets my muscles all shook out and relaxed. I like it.

The children in the family love it, but then they are closer to the ground and it''s no big deal if they should topple off it, which they don''t seem to do. I, on the other hand, have to hold onto something. It might help if I could find the remote.I''ll say in its favor that it does make you move. That''s good for most of us. I got it since I have a balance problem anyway, and this didn''t boost my confidence. :)
I have not used it enough to see any benefits from it, but if nothing else, it should SHAKE off the flab and may help with toning. I may never know.
It''s not bad. I just don''t think it was the right thing for me, although I''ll use it occasionally, as soon as I find that remote, and I''ll be holding onto something. That thing goes fast.
