I bought these to use with my P90X workouts. They broke on the second set of the FIRST DAY I used them while doing wide grip push-ups. The base just snapped sending me face first into the floor. Buy these at your own peril. These push up bars are certainly effective: that isn''t hard to achieve. Hence why most cost under twenty dollars. It doesn''t really matter which you buy, as long as they aren''t about to collapse under you. These are comfortable in my hands and don''t slip around on the floor. However, they weren''t designed particularly well: the two pieces that sit on the floor are made of plastic, not metal. Two of the four (each bar has a pair of legs) were bent slightly, and to get the bars to sit flat on the ground involved twisting the push up bars a little more out of shape. I ended up with push up bars that work perfectly fine, but nonetheless they did not work fine without alteration by me.

As a Certified Personal Trainer I was looking for a product that would help my clients who have weak wrists or are just not as skilled at the proper push up form. These bars do the trick billiantly. Easy to assemble -one screw, they are sturdy enough to support even my heaviest clients. They have just the right amount of padding to cushion the hands, but not feel squishy.I highly recommend this product!I got these to add range of motion during pushups. I thought it would be great since they were so inexpensive and it isn''t a necessity in my work out. I recieved them and the first day they bent and snapped. Would never recomend these to anyone.
