WCI Quality Bicycle Computer With Speed, Distance And Time Readings Display

I bought one of these when a Bell bike computer I had bought turned out to be defective. The WCI was an easy installation and worked correctly. It has all the functions that I wanted and some extras. Works great, is easy to read, easy to understand switching between functions etc. Very solid the way the computer head secures to the mount. Great price.

For a basic unit this one is a winner.

12/20/12 Just wanted to add that I am very happy with this bike computer. It works just fine. Also it turns on automatically as soon as the magnet passes the sensor unit. It turns of after sitting still for a few minutes. I should also mention that I used the

tables in the instructions to set the wheel diameter/travel per revolution. I went to the trouble to measure the distance my front wheel travels in one turn and converted it, and it was just the same as the supplied chart.Possibly if you are picky and replaced the front tire with, say, a street tire without knobs, you might want to measure the distance and convert it (per the instruction sheet) to see if the chart setting is still right on.

The unit keeps track of your overall highest top speed, and your top speed reached on each trip. On my lower geared mountain bike and my 59 year old legs peddling as fast as I could going down a hill I reached about 29 mph. Really good riders on high geared road bikes have stated they have reached top speeds of 50-60 mph!!

Not a bad product for the price. The hardware to attach the magnet to the wheel spokes is a bit cheap, but considering the price, it can be expected. So far as I can tell, everything is working perfectly fine, and hasn''t broken yet, even when I took my bike off-road.

I got this computer on time,I tryed to set the functions and could only set about half of them. Maybe it was me, so i had one of my "smart" friends give it a try..same results. Also the magnet that go''s on the spoke fits terrible. I finally chucked it, it wasn''t even worth sending back...Don''t waste your money.

This is just my opinion. Not easy to install, and can tell it''s cheaply made. I ended buying one from my local bike shop for about $20 more, had them install it and it''s a much better product. This is one of the only purchases made on Amazon where I would love to get my money back.

Powered on, but never read the sensor. Would cost more to return than it''s worth, going into the trash.

Have used other ATech products, most work fine.

After playing with this a while, I DID get it to work. Just a matter of getting the magnet to hit the right spot on the sensor. Now I''m happy!
