CAP Barbell 25 lb Black Olympic Rubber Grip Plate

I use these mostly for core workouts (hold one plate out with arms at 90 degrees, elbows in close to your sides, plate parallel to your body, turn side to side while keeping hips absolutely stationary). The plate is a great shape for that, with rubber grip that makes it easy to hold onto. I bought 2 and they were well packaged when they were shipped to me, despite their combined weight in one box. I have all CAP weights so far and I like them a lot.

I have 45''s and 25''s. They are the typical rubber gym plate with easy carry handle holds. So far no cracks in the rubber when placed on a concrete floor (I don''t drop mine so I can''t speak to how much of a beating they can take before they crack). They do smell, rather heavily to start, but my expectation is that this will diminish with time (like that new car smell). However, if you have a sensitive nose or are not used to working out with rubber plates, which like tires, smell like rubber, it may be too much for you. Ill post an update in a month regarding this issue.
