Trainer In a Bag, Military Strap Suspension Trainer, Gun Metal Grey

When I started my attempt to lose weight (70 pounds lost at this point on a goal of 100 pounds), I knew I had to exercise and eat better. One of the keys to exercising for me is that exercise has to be able to be done at home as I am not a fan of exercising in front of others. Plus, if the equipment is in your house, you have no excuse to not use it. Anyway, I started with a treadmill then slowly added equipment. After a few years exercising in my basement, I decided to try a gym -I still didn''t like going to a gym, but tried many many different classes, one of which was TRX. I enjoyed TRX training, and since exercise variety is important I decided to look for a TRX system for home because I didn''t want to stay with the gym. Imagine my surprise at the cost of TRX equipment several hundred dollars. Then I stumbled on the Trainer-in-a-Bag. It basically costs about 1/10th the price of TRX (think of it as 90 percent off) and is very similar. The straps are sturdy, the handles are strong. My one gripe, the instructions are very difficult to decipher, even with pictures. It took me about ten minutes before the one-page instructions made sense, then it was very easy to set up. It only took about two minutes for the actual set up, though.

I can do the same exercises on the Trainer-in-a-Bag as I can using the TRX. It feels secure and of similar quality as the TRX, too. I''m very happy with this purchase and that I can do a suspension workout at home affordably.

After having a lateral release done on both of my knees, my physical therapist had me work on the TRX. I loved the exercises I was able to do and started shopping around to have one at home. I ran across the Trainer In a Bag and after reading reviews figured if it didn''t work as well I could return it. Well it works just as good and although I originally bought it to help with my therapy, my husband has made it a part of his workout as well. Highly recommend!!!

I love this thing it works great. I use it mostly to help me stretch and it has been great. Good price to compared to the others, I could not justify paying much more for just a couple straps.
