Powerline PCCO90X Cable Crossover

I just purchased this cable crossover, because I have a fitness book nearly dedicated to crossover excercises. $400 plus free shipping did not make me think that I was going to get a high quality piece of equipment. However, I have been impressed with the quality. Metal is machined well with nice edges and operation of the equipment is smooth. The only complaint that I have is the lack of setup directions. I could not find any in the box nor on the internet, so we put it together based on the picture and diagram. We did not have any major problems putting it together. I have not had it long but think I definitely got what I paid for.

The boxes arrived torn and banged up but arrived much faster than expected. I would give this product 5 stars BUT the instructions that I assume should of been in the box weren''t. I only had a deconstructed view of the product as if it was coming together. Luckily, I''ve played enough Tetris in my life to figure out the scheme. Also, if you use olympic weights, you need to purchase the the adapter to hold the weight. 4 Stars.

I''ve had this about a month now, so I think it''s time for a review!

Shipping: Most definitely 5 stars, ordered on a Friday I think, expected arrival date was the following Friday, came in on Thursday, a day ahead of schedule. And was FREE shipping.

Assembly: 3/5 stars on this. It wouldn''t be hard to put together if the company would actually put some ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS with it. It blows my mind a company the size of Powerline/Body Solid would put a product like this out with only a diagram. I had to go back several steps a few times, taking about half what I had put together back apart because I missed putting something on since I had no clue as to what order to do it all. Did it all myself, but it would''ve been much quicker with a partner.

Use: 5/5 stars! My workouts have went through the roof since I got this :) You can really hit ever bodypart with this baby. You''ll need to get some extra attachments though, I''d suggest a pulldown bar, 20" rotating bar, row handle and a rope at least. The included handles aren''t all that comfortable, either, I''ll probably be getting a pair of d-handles soon. I''ve had about 240 pounds on one side doing shrugs and it didn''t seem to phase it.

Overall I can''t recommend this highly enough! I call it a must-have for any home gym!!

Amazon sent this bad boy and I received it a couple days ahead of schedule. Thank you Amazon!! Packaging was simple and perfect. I opened it and took out every part piece by piece and counted it to match parts list ALWAYS DO THIS FIRST. Even came with a can of lube and touch up paint. I read past reviews about this machine and most of them were negative talk about instructions. Cable run was simple and on the instructions you will notice arrows pointing in the direction you must follow in order to have a working cable. Just dont put the pullies on until you are ready to run your cables. The side bars set up easy, you can only install the bars one way on the bottom base. Just match the bolt holes to the base plate holes. You will know if you have the side bars on upside down because the holes will not match up. I recommend you slide the weight part on before you set the bars on the base plate. Also the plastic ends for the weights, make sure you line up the raised part to the holes on the weight portion. Also recommend you put the plastic ends on side bars before you slide weight part on bar after that you can put on the other plastic end piece. I also recommend you spray your weight part before you install it on the bar with the included lube. Also recommend you spray the pulley parts that get bolted down. better for the rotation of base when you''re working out. It really is a basic set up and you can do it just by the picture that comes with it. Very easy to do by yourself. Took me only 45 min to assemble it and was ready to attack the cable crossover exercises. Wish they would have included four clips rather than just two. Also that ankle strap is junk..Recommend you get a new one.

Overall great product for a great price would recommend without hesitation.

I think the other reviews beat it into our heads that there are no instruction for this machine so all i''ll say about that is it wasn''t that hard to figure out just by using the pictue. The machine itself is pretty sturdy. I didn''t expect that from the price. Although it isn''t commercial quality it''s not like 1000 different people will be putting wear and tear on it. The handles that come with it aren''t the best so I picked up some better quality ones and it does come with an ankle strap which is fine. Also if you have olympic weights you will need the adapter for it. The weights will fit just not securly. It also came with a silcone spray which is needed to lube up the bars for the moving piece. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would buy it again. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the pulleys do not adjust up and down, but I knew that before I bought it. I hope this review helped.
