Flexi-Bar Pro

After seeing an ad on tv for the Body Bar--a similar item--I researched online & found the Flexi-bar, which is hugely popular in Europe & England. The Body Bar is a flat metal bar where the Flexi-bar is a round fiberglas pole--both have a rubber grip in the middle & weighted ends.

Comparing both vibration bars I noticed the Body Bar only works in 2 dimensions, whereas the Flexi-bar works in many, & some reviewers found it harder to get the Body Bar "going" than the Flexi-bar.

Considering prices, the Body Bar suited to my weight & fitness level was pretty much same price as the Flexi-bar. After watching some users'' videos online I chose the Flexi-bar.

Altho the Flexi-bar is advertised as the "Pro" model, it''s the same item as the Flexi-bar "standard" that I received--I contacted the vendor to be sure. Their ad doesn''t mention it, but the bar comes with a travel cover, a Fat Burner DVD, and a double-sided wall chart featuring extra exercises.

The instructional DVD is worth watching if only for the great introduction to the bar--initially I used too tight a grip when I first opened my shipping package. The suggested use is 10 to 15 mins., 3 times a week. Altho the bar looks like a piece of cake, Flexi-bar''s feedback "vibes" qickly tire your muscles. WOW! I could feel it after only 10 mins.

Now age 58 I have been into fitness for decades, between my Body Solid home gym, using a "treadesk" while I e-mail & surf the Net, bouncing on Needak''s mini trampoline for lymph movement, and swinging kettlebells 3 times a week. This Flexi-bar really challenges your arms, shoulders, etc. I am glad I bought it, it''s a wonderful addition to my work-out regimen. Highly recommended!

I have been using Flexi-Bar for a few weeks now, and am very satisfied with the results I have felt. From the first inspection, a person would think, the long, light weight bar wouldn''t do much, but... it does! Even in this short amount of time, the lingering discomfort I carried between my shoulder blades from poor posture and prolonged sitting in front of a computer, is gone!

Even the smallest amount of time spent using the Flexi-Bar, will give benefit. I can feel my posture improving,and the areas of my body that need strengthing.. becoming more limber and agile. It''s a wonderful instrument that will give benefit, without discomfort or extreme cost. Stores very well too.
