Icebreaker Men''s Tech T Lite Long Sleeve Shirt

(TOP 10 REVIEWER)Icebreaker makes quality products from merino wool, which has the benefit of not smelling no matter how sweaty you get. I already own other Icebreaker products with ratings of 260 (the higher the number, the warmer the product) that I use for winter running and winter sports, as well as the long sleeve Chase Zip 200 that I use for spring running on cool days and nights.

I bought this product, which is rated 150, because I wanted something really lightweight that had long sleeves, but no zipper, no decorative detail, and a regular fit (as opposed to the tight body fit of some other Icebreaker products) to use as the Spring days got warmer, but where a long sleeve shirt still came in handy. Here is why I like this:

1. This is very comfortable. Like the other Icebreaker products, it does not itch at all even when worn directly against the skin.

2. This does not look like a base layer or exercise shirt due to the loose regular fit, the lack of a zipper, and the lack of decorative detail. I can just as easily wear this with a pair of jeans as with a pair of running shorts.

3.This shirt is perfect for a spring day that starts out a little cool, but then warms up nicely. I just roll up the sleeves when the temperature rises. Like all the other Icebreaker products, this breathes well and wicks moisture away.

4. This runs true to size. And while it is a loose regular fit, it hangs nicely and does not look boxy.

Bottom line: This is great for casual wear or where only a very light base layer is needed. The Stealth color looks great.

My son wears his constantly. He works from home in California and says that the hi-tech fabric is perfect for the cooler weather they are having this winter. He loves it so much that he wants more of them. Hint, hint, Mom!

I took this as my only LS when I was traveling for 3 wks this summer. It kept me warm in the air-conditioned plane and airport, and was cool enough in the low 80''s when I arrived. It washed easily in the sink and dried overnight. And looked good afterwards.

after getting my first i had to get more they are great for biking in the cold, as a bottom layer, or second layer depending on the chill. easy to wash and great for travelling where low maintenance if a requirement. dries quickly and takes up little room love it!

I picked up one of these to layer under other shirts... went with the lightest weight possible (150 g/m2) as I didn''t want to be locked into only using it in cold weather.

So far (a couple months), it''s been a great shirt. Doesn''t smell easily, washes nicely on gentle/handwash cycle, and air-dries overnight. (Definitely do not put this in the dryer... I''ve learned that lesson with other similar merino shirts/sweaters in the past.)
