These aren''t compression tights so they''re not very very tight. I''m 4''9" and 100 lbs and got an xs. The top kind of feels like pants to me and has a little give in the waist/thigh area. The ankles are pretty skinny. Understandably the tights are a little long on me by about an inch. Comfortable, warm, and great for winter cycling here in Boston. Relatively waterproof. I rode in light rain and snow for about 40 minutes and the pants kept me dry.
