We really like these mats that we used to put down in the garage for our home gym. I was concerned that they might have a bad rubber smell, but they don''t. There is plenty of cushioning when you lay on them to work out or stretch.

If you leave your weights on them, they will leave a mark, so arrange your equipment where this won''t bother you.

installed the flooring in my new gym and it looked great, after 4 weeks of use where my wife (112#) does her jumping jacks the floor panels have warped and do not lay flat. I was forced to order over 300.00 in buffalo gym mats 3/4 inch to cover the workout area of the gym. I would not recommend this product. it is very fragile for a workout area......

The foam mats are great, easy to install, the place I got them from was great & the shipping was fast but you must know that if you do not buy the same quality of mat you find in a gym like Bally''s, permanent indentations will be left by chairs, after sitting, & any heavy items placed on them. If that will bother you you need to fork out more money for a higher quality mat. It is not like these are cheap mats & the company sells bad products, they are great for the price & they will stand up to foot traffic & normal wear & tear. I did find that a few of the mats were slightly different in color but they work for me & I love walking on them bare feet.

I have an almost 12 x 12 room. I do P90X and Supreme 90 Day workouts on this flooring for nearly 1 year now. The flooring shows no sign of wear. My knees feel great. I drop dumbbells on the floor sometimes and the flooring doesn''t get damaged. One interesting thing: I installed the flooring in September of last year. It required a bit of trimming to fit. With summer heat the flooring expands a bit and in my case gets a little "puffy". I can fix it by trimming it a bit more, but it is working fine as is. You will need to account for a bit of expansion, if your workout space''s temperature fluctuates like mine.
