Everlast 2lb Dumbbells

Everlast 2lb Dumbbells
  • Transform your Wii Controllers into workout
  • Adds 2 pounds of weight to each controller. Perfectly balanced and solidly constructed.
  • Great way to add a strength element to any aerobic workout.
  • Designed to securely hold the controllers, allowing full use of all buttons, straps and IR function.

Although I LOVE my Wii, these dumbbells are pretty useless. It takes so long to hook them up in the middle of your fitness program that you lose momentum. Also, the Wii has trouble reading the remote through the dumbbell. I tried using them for extra weight during boxing and the game wasn''t registering my punches. I can''t recommend this product.

Buy Everlast 2lb Dumbbells Now

The wii controllers must be placed inside ''tunnels'' in the dumbbells. This creates three small issues, which aren''t very bad but slightly annoying: a. the controller has a harder time communicating directly with the Wii because of said tunnel and the position you''d generally hold a dumbbell in isn''t directly straight forward, so you miss points/hits/whatever. and b. by holding the dumbbell you''re actually pressing buttons on the controller the grip is removed so you''ve got direct palm to button pressure. and c. it''s hard to disconnect the nunchuck from the controller which is required for several other games which dumbbells would make a better workout for, so I end up popping the controller out disconnecting. well, it takes up valuable time.

nice idea though and I''ll continue to use them. the design could have been better.

Great product for a little extra weight to use with the Wii Fit. Good starter weights I wish a heavier version would become available.

I use the dumbbells for the boxing game and nothing else. The small amount of extra weight does add to the intensity of the boxing game.

Its inconvenient to take the remote out of the dumbbell each time so I switch to a regular remote when I''m not doing boxing.

You can switch controllers pretty easily in the following way:

Press the home key and go to the remote settings. There you will find the option to reconnect the remotes. You will be prompted to press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time on each remote (in the order you want them to be connected). I press the 1 and 2 buttons on the remote that I want to become primary and then press home again to return to the Wii fit games.

Not great not sure I''ll keep using these but we will see. At least they are inexpensive (and not flimsy).

I got these becasue I thought it would be a good way to step up my routine. The weight inside ( i think sand) was loose causing the weighting to not be steady. I returned them because of the weighting flaw and also due to the fact that wrist weights would do the same thing and not be as cumbersome as trying to insert and remove the controller.

I good idea but has some kinks to work out.

Marcy Deluxe Smith Trainer

Marcy Deluxe Smith TrainerMy previous weight bench was just a smith bench due to an old shoulder injury. Now that my shoulder is better I wanted to get back into benching free weights again. So when I saw this bench I could see that it had both options (free weights and smith). The other thinks I like about it are:

I like that the bench accommodates standard one inch plates.

The bench can be placed at a 90 degree angle for shoulder presses

Things I don''t like or would change:

The smith part of the bench is cheaply made. I normally squat ~200lbs. The first time I squatted with this bench I nearly gave myself a hernia! The guides that run along the smith bars are too short allowing too much play in the bar. So if by chance you do not lift the bar perfectly parallel to the floor it binds up completely! This sucks especially when you are mid squat with 200 lbs on you back!

I ordered new parts to hopefully alleviate this problem. But it''s been a month and I have still not received them yet. I called again and they say they are still on back order.

Also make sure you have space. This thing is huge. Takes up half a bedroom

The piece arrived fine enough, but there are LOTS of parts. I didn''t find it too difficult to assemble, but... if I were to do it again I would get a dozen Styrofoam cups and put the screws/bolts into them with the corresponding part number on the cup. There are WAY too many similar sized bolts. They are numbered in a shrink-wrapped container, but as soon as you open it they scatter. Trust me use the cup idea.

Also, I would give this four stars but the bottom right floor bracket was machined improperly. The bolt holes on that side are about 1 1/2 inch too far out from the back. I called the factory and they said they would ship a replacement. After two weeks I called and asked them the status and they advised they are waiting for the part and it could be another 8 weeks. Grrrr! Because of this the safety bracket does not fit on that side, which defeats 75% of the reason I bought this piece.

Also I wish that they had designed the resting brackets to be reversible. They only face out. So, (once I have the correct sized bracket) I will be starting my squats from the lower position instead of the upper position. Not a fan. Maybe I can fabricate something.... That is why I couldn''t give this 5 stars.

edit : A few years gone by. There is no way to easily fabricate a resting bracket for this device. The internal safety brackets are completely useless. Either get a better machine with a proper internal setup or get a cheaper one which doesn''t even try. Just don''t get this one.

The shipping & packaging was ALL jacked up. The first 2 boxes that came were smashed. Could not refuse delivery bc it was left at my front door. I opened it & a lot of screws were scattered. This made a bad situation bc the screws are taped to a piece of #''d cardboard. When the 3rd box came the delivery man had me take a look at the package. He said, "If I were you I would refuse this & call the manufacturer for a new one." Glad I listened to him. It looked like it was used as a trampoline. I called Amazon & was told they already resent a new one & it should arrive on blah blah date. That date happened to be the day I called. Confused as hell I asked, "So the company knew they sent a jacked up package & the replacement should arrive today?" The rep said yes. I told him that the replacement arrived & it was unacceptable & I wanted another. I was given a $100 gift card for the inconvenience & was told they would replace the replacement. (LOL)! I ended up receiving 3 new boxes instead of one which ended up being a blessing in disguise. A LOT of pieces and screws were missing from the original so I rummaged through the new boxes & got all the parts I needed. Imagine the nightmare I would have endured if they didn''t screw up by sending me all 3 boxes. Needless to say I have to send them the extras...or whatever is left seeing I had to use them. As for the machine itself..it''s AWESOME. As far as putting it together, not so awesome. I would take the advice of a previous post about using plastic cups & #''ing them. I''m stubborn so I didn''t. Would have saved some time. It didn''t take as long as people said it would in previous reviews. One person said 13 hrs total & another 9 hrs. I am not mechanically inclined, I fix people, not machines...anyways it took me 5-6 hrs by myself. Could have been faster if I wasn''t BSing around. Putting the pulley system together took up the most time, but even that wasn''t as hard as I thought. And one person is correct about the glide posts. It needs to be greased. Not a big deal. I do recommend this machine to whoever is interested. It''s a great price for what it does and I go to the gym every weekday and actually know what I''m doing. I work in physical therapy. As far as buying this from Amazon or whoever this ships through...HELL NO! Hope this review helps.

I ordered this smith machine in October. It is now March and I STILL do not have all the pieces. The original was delivered in November, but was damaged. The company told me they would replace the damaged pieces. Each time I call, I get a different story: they will come so and so time, someone will return my call and then never does etc.

Bought for $630 eligible for Amazon Prime.

Let''s be honest, complete home gyms with Smith Machines and Crossover Cables don''t come cheap. They range from $600 (this one) up to $2500. If you''re looking at this one, you''re scraping the bottom of the barrel, you''re extremely price sensitive, and wondering if a Marcy is as good quality as a Body Solid.

Shipping:

I see a lot of other reviews complaining about shipping. It comes in 3 boxes. One of them was handled perfectly, delivery guy came in with a hand truck and put it in the house where I wanted it. The other two boxes were in very rough shape. One of them had burst open and the side of the box was flapping as I dragged it into the house. The contents were jostling about inside, and I wasn''t sure if I had all the pieces. Generally a less-than-ideal experience. I started to file a claim online, but they asked if any pieces were missing and I couldn''t inventory without opening them all up, so I went ahead and unboxed all of it. It turns out that I did have all the pieces, but some of the hardware were scattered in the boxes instead of cellophane wrapped (and numbered) to the cardboard.

Assembly:

Definitely definitely do the cups idea! I put all my hardware in solo cups and sharpied the number on them. It would have been a nightmare without doing that. Some people here have said 8 hours, others 13. I took my time and it was probably 12 hours all total including unboxing, separating, parts, laying them out, throwing away plastic and cardboard, labeling cups, etc. Directions are a bit skiddish and hard to read sometimes. After a few hours you get to understanding their philosophy behind bolted joints and it becomes easier.

A few issues came up. On one of the supports, a beam was supposed to fit inside another. The hole was warped, so I had to use a dremel grinding bit to modify the shape of the hole for it to fit. Not a big deal, took 10 minutes to fix, but just be aware. Another hole had metal sticking up from where the hole was drilled and the metal prevented a beam from inserting into another. I had to dremel that as well. Other than that, assembly went well. In some parts it says Two People Recommended. It''s possible to do with one person with a little care and dexterity, and I''m 5''0" 100 lbs, but I''m sure two people would be safer.

Performance/Features:

Smith Machine definitely grease the guide rods with WD40. After that I don''t see any reason why anyone would need linear bearings. The action is very smooth and I experience no binding when using it for squats or presses.

Crossover Cables there''s a little more friction in the system than what I imagined. I would have liked to have a stack of plates with a pin in the back for convenience but for $630 all total, I can''t complain at all.

It lacks a lat pull down, and the bench doesn''t have an attachment for a preacher curl. The pegs for the weights are plastic and a bit cheap feeling/looking. With everything else being pretty good quality (metal), these are the only things I have to gripe about and it''s a little petty.

Value:

Compare this to the Marcy Diamond Elite with Linear Bearings ($1050). Linear bearings sound nice, but once the guide rods are greased, you won''t know the difference. Most power racks by themselves are $400-$500. With this, you get a bench w/ leg station, crossover cables, a fly station, and a seated row station.

If this system came with a Lat Pulldown and a Preacher Curl attachment and was $100 more, I''d get it. If it were $200 more and also included a stack of plates for the cables, I''d get that, too. The Gold''s Gym System is actually close, but it isn''t Amazon Prime eligible... so good luck with that shipping. ;)

adidas Men''s Climaultimate Short-Sleeve Tee

adidas Men''s Climaultimate Short-Sleeve Tee , White/ Dark Shale, LargeI''ve only had them a few days, but I''m very impressed. The length comes to about 6cm below the waist, the feel of the material is extremely soft, and it comes out of the wash looking incredible. It is common for me to complain about shirts that are too short, and that only look good for the first wearing because they break down in the wash. These shirts do not have those drawbacks. Also, the colors are really nice (I got the green, orange and light blue colors). They look great for casual wear, but I also exercised in one and the fabric does help stay cool.

The bright yellow makes me a little nervous, but I like these shirts well enough to risk it... maybe.

It''s ok . But take note that you should order a one size larger than what you would usually wear.

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise BeltI''ve never used a weight belt before but I have used several weight vests before and this one has been better than both both in construction quality and comfort.

The fabric type and padding are similar to most other vests and belts like it, the big difference with this belt versus those other ones is the quality of the stitching. The stitching is not only higher quality its done with a heavier thread. Out of the box there were no straggling threads or anything, it looked clean and neat like you normally see on higher end belts and vests. Its also stayed that way after several weeks use which is a good sign in my experience, usually the crappier stuff starts to stretch and come loose in that time frame. The 2 cheap vests I''ve bought before fell apart in less than a year and I never put more than 10 lbs in them.

The other thing that really stood out to me is quality of the velcro and the nylon loops. You can tell just by picking up the belt and putting it on that it won''t be falling apart any time soon. There is absolutely no give or stretching once the belt is on. It stays put when I run and I usually run for around an hour to 40 minutes. It also stays comfortable unlike the vests I''ve used. Those vests would usually start to hurt my back after a while but with the belt that isn''t an issue at all.

The weights themselves are coating with vynil or powder coating, which is good. The cheaper vests and belts tend to just paint them, which wears off fast and due to sweat they become encrusted with rust within a few months or weeks.

FYI the "reflective strip" is the only thing about this product is a joke. It has almost no visibility at all since it tends to fold up on you when running and doesn''t really offer much in the way of reflectivity even when not rolled up.

So far I only have around 6 lbs of weight in the belt so far, started with 3 lbs, and it is plenty for a long walk or run! Always start slow when using weight vests or belts, you''d be surprised how much a little extra weight will whoop your butt in the beginning. But keep at it and it gets easier fast.

Besides the strip the only other thing I''d change about the belt is the price. IMO it should''ve been $10-15 cheaper, there just isn''t much to it at all. Otherwise its a solid belt.

I got this to wear while doing yoga, so I could build muscle and flexibility simultaneously. So far, it works great. I love that I can slowly add more weight as my strength increases. The weights are easy to add and remove. The velcro fastener is secure and has plenty of leeway: I have a 32 inch waist and there''s close to 2 feet of extra velcro for the closure. Once I fasten it, it doesn''t slide around much, even when I''m in downward-dog position. The inside is lightly padded so it doesn''t feel clunky or rough against the skin.

I bought this weight belt to add to my 40 lb weight vest I currently use to train with. It fits well, is adjustable (both for width and weight) and all around well made.

The belt sits well around the waist and doesn''t drag down as I thought it would, which was a good surprise. The added resistance puts my total weight up to 50 pounds which is perfect for the type of exercises I do.

Just a quick word of caution, consult your trainer or a knowledgable friend before adding weight vests and belts to your workout. I''ve known a couple people who started out with far too much weight and it did cause some discomfort sometimes can cause injury. So please be careful in that regard.

I work out almost every morning with the Leslie Sansone walk aerobic programs. I don''t like exercising for more than 45 minutes, and I wanted to boost my workouts with a weighted belt so I''d get more bang for my buck--instead of choosing one-hour videos. I tried a two-pounder, which was too light to be effective, and I then tried a five-pounder, which was pretty good, but not challenging enough. The ten-pound belt is perfect for me. I''m a senior citizen who weighs around 117 pounds, and ten pounds added to my waist while exercising makes a big difference--because it''s quite a relief when you remove it after the workout is over, so you know its heft has enhanced that workout.

The belt is well made and can be modified very easily if you want to decrease/increase the poundage. The area of the belt that touches your body is smooth nylon and very well quilted for comfort, and the Velcro closure is strong and reliable. Now the hardest part of my exercise regimen is lifting the belt from its shelf and holding it in the right position as I wrap it around my body. I have arthritis and I''m not as agile as I used to be, but I''ve figured out the right maneuvers to deal with the problem.

At first I thought the price was a bit steep, but the belt has proved to be worth every penny!

Want All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt Discount?

My reason for purchasing this was different from those of other reviewers: I have bone density problems, despite the fact that I get regular exercise and consider myself to be pretty strong. My hip is the worst spot, so my doctor told me to buy a weight belt and walk with it, gradually increasing the weight I carry. All Sports Authority had was a weight vest, which would have been unwearable for at least half of the year here in Arizona. I found this belt on Amazon and it has been perfect. It''s padded enough that I forget I have it on when I walk the dogs in the morning. The weights are small enough that you have a lot of control over the difference you feel when you increase the load. It''s sturdy and well-constructed. Unlike other reviewers I don''t think it was over-priced, although I have to admit that when I bought mine less than two weeks ago it was $20 cheaper than the price it''s listed at now. It''s good not just for walking but for wearing while doing house chores or anything else that would lend itself to simultaneous weight-bearing exercise. I''m happy with it, and hope to see results.

PortaPocket Essentials, a Strap-on-the-body Carrying Case

PortaPocket Essentials, a Strap-on Carrying Case / Travel Wallet System, BlackI usually use my Portapocket at the gym for my I-pod, YMCA card, and ear buds. But it was also very useful when we went to Williamsburg, VA. I wore it around my calf under my slacks, and it held my phone, credit card, cash, hotel room key, and car keys. It was reassuring to know I could not lose those things! Anyone who commutes or travels or goes to the gym should get one of these.

I love this product, and knew I had to have it, the moment I heard about it. I was responding to the fabulous possibility of choosing to enjoy the convenience of a pocket regardless of what I was wearing. When I received my own porta pocket I was totally surprised by the quality and comfort of the actual product and just how much I enjoy using it.

In addition to being burdensome, handbags are fashion items and, quite frankly, I love them. They will always find a place in my wardrobe and, frequently be important to the look I wish to achieve and to the way I choose to present myself. However, now that I own a porta pocket, there are many times that I go out "hands free" and "handbag free" knowing that the things I truly need (phone, cash, credit card, key) are comfortably and securely with me, in my porta pocket. It is the best kind of freedom--freedom I obtained for myself.

Buy PortaPocket Essentials, a Strap-on-the-body Carrying Case Now

What a cool product! Since I''m not a skirt person, I wore the PortaPocket on my ankle. I usually wear nylon warmup pants when I''m traveling--no belt, elastic around the hems of each leg. That made me less paranoid about giving PortaPocket a try.

But I had no reason to be worried, the strap was nice and secure. I didn''t like wearing the larger pocket on my ankle, but it makes a great protective sleeve for my iPod touch in my backpack.

When I got to Salt Lake City, I unpacked and was going to put the cards from the PortaPocket back in my regular wallet when I discovered that the velcro from the pouch stuck to the inside of the pocket of my pants. That settled it for me, the PortaPocket is a winner! Now I need the big wallet to hold my passport on the overseas trips.

adidas Women''s Climacool II 2-Pack No Show Sock

adidas Women''s Climacool II 2-Pack No Show Sock, White/Black/Aluminium, Shoe Size 5-10Not much to say; these socks provide plenty of cushion and support. They look and feel great. I love wearing them just by themselves... no shoes. I wear a size 10.5 and these socks still fit my feet. The socks are a little thick (i.e. cushion) so they don''t breathe as well as some of my other thinner socks. But they are comfy and supportive so I love wearing them.

I run regularly and I''m always looking for socks that are: inexpensive, don''t fall down into my shoes, and don''t cause blisters/chafing. These socks have not failed me in any of these respects. The reason they do not get 5 stars is because I also bought Adidas No Show Women''s Climalite II socks and like those a little better. These socks are thinner and slightly cooler, but I like that the Climalite II has more padding for longer/harder runs.

I got six pairs of this sock from TJs and they are my favorite tennis socks now. The elastic opening provides just the right traction to stay on. The three Adidas classic stipes at the bottom of the foot add cushion and some compression. Overall, the construct of the sock make you feel that sock is pressed comfortably onto your foot in all areas especially from the bottom. When first putting on your shoes, there might be a little big of the edge showing than expected (depending on the shoes you wear I wear the Nike Air Max Breathe Free II); but as you move in sports, the sock will adjust nice to become no-show but definitely will NOT slip down like some self-proclaimed non-slip tennis socks. I really love them and will keep wearing them for all my games.

I like the foldable waistband. Some Z-wear doesn''t give the rise in the front that I''d like, and the folding waistband solves that problem. These are sized small, so I would order 1, maybe 2 sizes up. I normally wear a M in cargos. I ordered a L in these, and wish I would have ordered an XL. I like more of a baggy hip-hop look though. The material is a little thicker than past cargo material. The cuffs at the bottom are to large. I normally roll them under to keep them at my knees. Otherwise the cuffs catch and pull on the pants weird when I do squats or lunges. I like the more streamlined design a little better. Not a lot of bells and whistles hanging off. There are no back pockets, and I never think that''s very flattering to my rear. They still work though, and are really cute cropped style cargos with a couple minor flaws.

This is my first Zumba pants. It''s really lovely. It looks pretty much like it appears in the picture. I purchased a size large since there was no medium size available in the black/purple. Fortunately the large size fits well. Depending on the brand (Nike, Addidas, etc), I wear anywhere between medium and large for comfort. I would definitely buy another one if they had another dark combination.

Nike Women''s Free TR Fit 2.0 - Voltage Cherry / White-Dark Grey-Pink Flash, 8.5 B USI bought these the day before we took a trip to NYC... Have extreme back pain, and chronic pain in general. I know if I could lose some weight it would help too. So back to the shoes, Amazing what a different pair of shoes will do. I''ve tried walking but I couldn''t even grocery shop without causing pain. And yet I walked almost 10 miles over a couple days, and my back didn''t hurt that bad. Except for the blisters, it was perfect. Super light, and I will definitely be taking walks in these shoes.

When I went to buy these, salesmen tried to tell me I should get other shoes for my back pain. I told him that they are too bulky and heavy. I knew myself, I''m always running in and out with 4 kids.

I always slip into my shoes fast as I head out the door. These shoes are perfect for that. they back is already squishy on purpose for that.

I''m buying a second pair. :)

I bought these shoes for my daughter to exercise in. They were shipped fast and just as advertised. She loves the style and comfort. Another quality Nike product.

Livestrong® LS10.0E Elliptical

Livestrong® LS10.0E EllipticalWhen I first got this several months ago, I was very happy with it, particularly with how quiet it was. I''ve used several brands of ellipticals and treadmills before, and this was the quietest of them all. I should also note that the difficulty range is higher than most others. With my old Diamondback or the Precor at work, I''m at least 80% up the difficulty scale; with this I''m at something more like 30%, which probably means even the very lowest difficulty wouldn''t work for other family members.

I quickly started to notice problems. First the bolt where the arm connects to the pedal just kept coming loose, so I had to become an expert at tightening it. Rust started appearing on the tracks, and I actually am careful about wiping the machine down so there''s no excuse for that (never had that problem with another machine). Then it started becoming noisier and noisier. At this point it''s barely tolerable even when I''m wearing earphones turned up fairly loud It sounds like the flywheel is wobbly, which probably isn''t fatal, but opening the case is practically impossible without special equipment and knowledge of where the internal catches etc. are so I can''t be sure. Now I''m trying to find someone local to service it, and that''s turning out to be a pain too.

Before I bought this I did some pretty exhaustive research, especially vs. Sole and Smooth which have nearly identical models at nearly identical price points (probably not a coincidence). This machine works, but if I didn''t already own it I''d definitely buy one of the others at this point. If you do buy one, get an extended service contract and/or plan ahead for when it needs that service. It will, within a year.

Got It 2 weeks after I ordered it, only took me about an hour to assemble. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and am very satisfied have had no problems at all. Would absolutely recommend this elliptical to any one. I am a big guy (FAT) I weigh 275 or at least did 3 weeks ago and it supports my weight just fine. my wife spends 30-40 min on it every day and she loves it as well. no squeaks, or other noises everything runs smooth,(I did add grease when I assembled the unit to the moving components and shafts.) I also enjoy the online tracking thru livestrong.com all in all i have no complaints at this time.

I received the elliptical within 10 days. It was delivered by a straight truck to my garage. The box was in perfect condition. I unpacked it in the garage and carried it piece by piece to my bedroom. I am a 53 year old woman, so my son had to carry the flywheel upstairs for me, since it was so heavy. I was gonna get him to put it together for me, but he couldn''t do it for a few days because of work. So I decided to start on it by myself. I put the whole thing together all by myself! It was pretty easy. The directions were clear and everything needed was included. I love this elliptical! It is fun and a great workout! I''m very happy with my purchase!

I spent some time looking for a good ellipse machine and i was frustrated that all the good reliable ellipse were over 2000, until i found this machine.

The machine came really fast, within the week i had it, bouth it monday was home by friday (maybe due to location) .

Setting it up was a breeze, all tools included, 10 step process and you are up and running. It comes with a lot of grease so don''t bother putting wd40 or anything, just scrape the grease from the bags and you should be good to go.

I started this machine with 285Lbs. No sounds, no problems. After 1 month of using it every day im down to 260 using the weight loss setting. no sounds no issues. The 23Lbs flybar makes a huge difference compared the the previous 15 and 20lbs.

Overall a GREAT product, i would definetly recomend it, the ergonomics are fantastic, not like the beat up machines in the gym.

Bought the machine about a year and a half ago. Was not sure to Purchase the LS10 or Sole 25 or 35. Salesaman tried to push us towqard the Sole machine. Used the machine for about 2 months and then stopped due to skin tag getting sore. Lost interest in the machine for about a year but the livestrong was already making noise at this point. Just started using the machine again now for 2 months. As time goes on it makes more noise. First just a squeaking (seems to be from the back end) Now as the elliptical goes through the different resistance levels, after it hits 4 for the second time (about half way in)in the 30 minute cycle (weight loss) you hear a persistant thud which is inside the machine. I suspect the electronic braking. I took the covers off, not easy, I have a impact tools and compressor which made the job easier. Any repairs made under the covers require some know how. Since I waited over a year the service part of the warranty is over, however parts are still covered for another 2 years. I will replace the parts that has sent us. The machine is a solid machine and I love using it, if the machine had no noises it would be a solid 5 stars. When you pay a $1000 for a machine it should work perfectly out of the box with no noise. Currently if I had to buy this machine all over again, I would not. Can''t say that the Sole would have been any better, but they make their own equipment and the sales person swore by them. The livestong is made by Horizon which I was told by the sales person, uses parts from different manufacturers. I choose the livestrong because to me it had a better position which was more uprights versus the Sole and other models which seemed to be slightly tilted forward. I have a TV with a sound bar and when the sound is turned up I the squeaks are harder to hear, but the thud has me worried that something may come off while in use and damage the machine. I will try to fix it myself if not hire someone to fix it for me.

IronMan LXT850 Locking Inversion Therapy Table

IronMan LXT850 Locking Inversion Therapy TableLength:: 4:13 Mins

I have had this inversion table for about two weeks now. So far I''m very satisfied. It does provide immediate yet temporary relief of back pain. I say temporary because it''s too early to tell if I would get a long lasting relief from back pain. I will update you in few months.

Here are my observations:

Package was a bit roughed up from its journey. It came with one of the plastic "cups" that go on the hinge of the stand broken. But I could do without that part since it''s just an esthetic part of the equipment.

Assembly was not too difficult. It took me a little over 4 hours to assemble it because I was watching TV too while assembling it. :) But, I believe it could be put together in about 2 hours.

Manual is confusing on certain steps. The nuts and bolts were not labeled so, I had to rely on trial and error on certain steps.

It does come with all the tools you need to assemble it. I.e..light weight screw driver etc.

The headrest is not adjustable. It looked from the picture that you could adjust the headrest. But I ended up not needing to adjust it anyway, so no biggie.

Like others mentioned, it''s a bit painful on the feet if you are fully inverted for more than few minutes. Wearing sneakers or very think socks helps a bit. I come back up after few minutes to give my feet a break and invert again.

The blood rushing into your head problem gets better as you get used to being inverted. Mine''s almost gone by now. I no longer feel the blood rushing as much. Just a bit.

The locking mechanism needs a bit getting used to. It may feel stuck or broken at first until you get used to it and know how it works.

The equipment is very sturdy and feels "safe" while on it.

Overall, I''m satisfied. If you suffer from lower back pain related ailments this definitely will help you. I think I may have a mild case of sciatica and am hoping this tool will help relieve some of that so I could get back to what I love doing... running marathons!! Good luck!!!

Update: 12/04/2011

It has been over a year and half since I bought this equipment and I thought I would give an update of my experience.

I must say this is one equipment that is worth every penny. I can''t describe enough how satisfied I''m with it so far. Every time my back aches, I get on it for few minutes and when I''m done the first thing that comes out of my mouth is "Wow". The pain just magically disappears and the feeling is almost euphoric. No pain medication can work that fast!

I have not had any issues with it so far. Nothing is loose or broken. It is still as sturdy and works as great as it did on day one. I highly recommend it!

I''ve had the product for a little over a month. I use it for a few minuites just before I go to bed. I started feeling a difference in my back in just a couple of weeks. I used to wake up with stiffness, now theres none. I definitley recommend this to everyone with lower back pain.

The only cons I can think of:

Its very heavy. When the box arrives, don''t move it alone or you will hurt your back even more. Don''t even think that you will be folding it and putting it away ever.

The ankle restaints are a little uncomfortable when you are fully inverted. Wearing a pair of sneakers helps a lot though.

I started to get a pain in my leg and the doctor sent me to a physical therapist which gave me back exercises. With all of the exercises and the IronMan LXT850 inversion table I''ve been able to almost eliminate the pain in my leg. When I started physical therapy I asked the physical therapist if he recommended inversion therapy. He said he liked the concept (couldn''t fully endorse it for various reasons) so I ordered this one through amazon. Just 5 minutes a day, morning and night has straightened out my back. My physical therapist said he could see my back was crooked before the therapy and a few weeks after inversion therapy my back had straightened out. For me its not a cure all. Its a good part of my exercise regiment but inversion therapy alone doesn''t fix my back problems.

I''m 6''4'''' and weigh @230 and it was perfectly balanced for me. I had no problems easing my way to upside down and back up again. I thought the locking mechanism was broke when I assembled it but I realized that you really had to push it. Now the unlocking is really easy to me but the locking I still have to whack it. Also the instructions say to ease your way to being completely upside down. I tried a couple of times and found my body didn''t like being slightly angled down. When I went completely upside down, I had almost no issues.

I highly recommend this inversion table and would recommend to anyone with lower back problems.

I''m a woman, mid 40''s suffering with chronic lower back and right knee pain for going on 8-9 years. I take a med. which helps with chronic muscle soreness which is probably due to common stress over the years. A teacher friend of mine told me about his inversion table and less than a week later I had my own table. I am using this machine for meditative as well as physical therapy. Losing weight is not a goal but loosening up my muscles and joints and learning how to focus more on my mind and body is my goal. If I wanted to do some ab. muscle work this table is a great option for that...hence the name "AB Training Inversion System". This table has it all. It''s very well made and durable and will last certainly a very long time. One of the first main attractions of this table for me is the wood padded polyurethane foam cushion back and head rest. The nylon covering over the cushion is well made. I would have probably picked a different color than maroon but the silver inset color looks really nice. It comes with a lumbar support which is a much needed comfort for me. The locking mechanism is probably the most important and versatile part of the machine. I highly recommend this particular model because of all of the bells and whistles which makes this a complete stretching machine. The bar on the bottom of the unit helps stabilize you when fully inverted. I could easily fall asleep on this machine because of the feeling of weightlessness. Bending your knees slightly will help you come back up when you are finished with your excercise. Go at your own pace and stretch out little by little until you feel your back start stretching and/or popping. Breathing really helps and is essentially the most important part for any type of excercise. After using this incredible machine for one night, off and on for about 2 hours, I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed with no soreness and ready to use it again. This machine is fairly big and can take up quite a bit of space, but it does fold up. It''s pretty heavy too. I am more than happy (thrilled) with my purchase, and less than a week ago this machine was almost $10 more than what it shows this 2nd of March. So this is a very good bargain and well worth the cost. I have Amazon Prime so the shipping was free.

This Ironman LXT850 inversion table is the BEST! It was a Christmas gift to myself last year and I use it just about every day after my work-out and whenever I''ve been standing for long periods of time. I''ve had lower back problems for years and standing for any length of time exacerbates the discomfort. The LXT850 provides instant relief for my lower back. I love the feeling of my spine decompressing, vertabrae by vertabrae. I even like the blood rushing to my head, which really bothered me when I first started using this piece of equipment. It took me awhile to tolerate more than a few minutes hanging upside-down, but after ten months of use, I can easily hang for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. I''ve even worked up to performing hanging sit-ups. It took awhile to manage that one and I still haven''t perfected it, but the locking mechanism on LXT850 comes in handy for this move. The inversion table itself is quite heavy, but very well built and sturdy. I highly recommend the LXT-850!

Valeo Body Ball (65 cm) - BLUE

Valeo Body Ball - BLUEThere''s nothing magical about this piece of equipmentits a big, sturdy rubber ball, and what you see in the picture is exactly what you get. So why would you even want to bother messing with it?

Well, despite its simplicity, its a really FUN piece of exercise equipment and an absolutely GREAT way to change things up. For instance, if you''re tired of doing sit-ups on the floor, well, try them on the ball (you''ll see what I mean when you do). If you''re tired of doing push-ups on the floor, just try them with your feet on the ballthen see how many push-ups you can do!

But be careful and use your judgement. While there''s a lot of stuff you can do with this big ball, you COULD also get hurt if you''re clowning around or trying something you''re simply not in shape to do yet. Know that this ball comes with an exercise sheet that give you suggestions for doing different exercises.

All-in-all, though, its especially nice for a change of pace or for an added challenge. Additionally, many therapists use this ball for rehabilitation purposes, particularly back rehab, so there''s really a lot you can do with it. If nothing else, pull it out after a long day at the office and stretch your back out over itwowdoes that ever feel good! Those who suffer with back pain might also be interested in Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis. Have fun!

I''ve been using the 65 cm body ball for the past 3 months as an everyday computer chair at home. I purchased this product because I didn''t want to spend 60-80 dollars on a real computer chair. I also figured, some claim it''s a very healthy alternative, so why not? Looking at different products, I was a little confused as to what size to get. I''m 5''10 and 150 lbs. I''ve only used the 65 cm one, so I can''t directly compare, but I think this one fits great size-wise. It is able to be inflated to a spot where my knees are at about a 90 degree bend and my eyes are a couple inches below the top of my monitor-two important criteria for sitting in general and while using a computer.

The included foot pump is kind of cheap, but it gets the job done without any problems. I aired it up twice in the first week, and haven''t added any air since then. After 3 months, it could use a little air though. Also included is a ruler to measure the circumference for proper inflation. I didn''t air it up all the way to where it tells you to, that seemed like entering popping territory. I''m sure it would probably be just fine. The ball seems very stable and strong.

It''s important to remember that using an exercise ball as a chair doesn''t magically give you great posture. You can have just as bad posture on a ball as in a normal chair. This was difficult in the first week or two; but you get used to it. I still catch myself slouching sometimes. You might also get sore when you first start using it, too. This will go away after a week or two. Overall, I think this is a great alternative to a chair and it''s a lot more fun, as you will most likely find yourself moving or bouncing around while you use it.

This balance ball arrived with a very cheap inflating pump. After fighting with it to stay together long enough to inflate the ball, and enduring a terrible chemical smell from the ball (the package was labeled that it contained cancer causing toxins), we finally had a balance ball. Unfortunately, it sprung a leak within 30 days from normal use. I''m returning it. So glad Amazon has a good return policy!

I remember seeing these back in 1998. Back then, I thought these things were a joke. But after seeing the results on other people, I decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, I was in for an experience!

The first time I sat on one, I ended up rolling off and falling on the floor. I''m normally coordinated and fairly graceful. However, I had no understanding of the proper use of the equipment. The awesome college girl who was working out beside me was polite enough to not stare at your very embarrassed, and very red-in-the-face, narrator. Eventually, I got enough courage to ask one of the trainers for help. She showed me the proper way to use the ball. And no, you should not try to do sit-ups while sitting on the ball. Basically, you use a lot of the muscles in your midsection to balance, and then you lift your chin upwards, towards the ceiling.

I was never consistent at using the ball. But now, nine years later, I decided that I had better do something about my exponentially expanding midsection. I no longer drink beer or alcohol. However, my lack of physical activity and my love of video games have caught up with me during the last six months. I have gained seven pounds, during the last half-year. And they went to the worst possible place of all, all seven of those pounds, to my waist.

Please keep in mind, dear reader, that this ball alone will not shrink your belly. It will not get rid of excess body fat. Depending on what you want to accomplish, how far off you are currently, and your body type, a whole lifestyle change might be needed. Your diet and your exercise routine have to work together. You can lose body fat simply by cutting back your calories. You won''t want to cut much protein though. You need that to help you keep your lean body mass.

By the way, if you''re not very coordinated, I suggests that you purchase on of these and start off using it at home. That way, when you do use the one at the gym, you can look graceful doing it.

Inflating this ball can be a big hassle. The pump that came with it is obviously made out of inexpensive (cheap!) material. But, hey, look at the low price of the unit! Besides, once you get the ball inflated, there is very little need to ever have to reinflate it again. When you are inflating the ball for the first time, please keep in mind that there is no valve on the ball. As soon as you remove the pump''s needle, the air will start to come out of the ball. Basically, you will have to put the stopper on very quickly. You can put a little bit of nail polish on the stopper to keep it from coming out. I used hair spray though. So far, no leaks.

I purchased this and gave up my really expensive leather chair in hopes of having a better support chair. I have been using it for several days and it is great. When I am listening to music I can''t help but bounce around on it. I feel like it should have handles so I could bounce around the room. Who knew a chair could be so much fun and help with posture? Love it!

Champion Powersleek Sports Bra Womens

Champion Powersleek Sports Bra Womens - Black 34C"Although this bra is comfortable and doesn''t cause "uniboob", my one compliant is that the plastic connector between the cups and the straps (don''t know what they''re called) slips vertically when the straps are adjusted to comfort, bunching up the material on both sides."

I wear a D cup so I always look for sports bras that provide maximum support. I run, and do high impact aerobics, and participate in boxing fitness classes. The bra is good during the lower intensity sections of my classes or runs, but it doesn''t give maximum support during the higher intensity sections. I now use this bra when I practice yoga. It''s perfect for that type of exercise. The adjustable straps are a nice feature, but I found that the back of the bra rides up when you "tighten" them up.

If you expect it to be the other Champion bra that looks very similar. They put the strap attachment in the front and it wiggles around. It ends up poking you the whole time you work out.

The "other" champion bra, I think it''s called the "Action shape top", that looks like this is the best DD size sports bra ever. Stick with it.

I am a 38DDD and I have never been able to find a bra that is comfortable, supportive, and doesn''t give a "uniboob" affect, but this bra is all of those things! I would highly recommend it! It doesn''t pinch, it isn''t too tight but it isn''t loose either, the material is soft, and I love the fact that it is adjustable and has hook and eye closure, I would wear this everday around the house as well as while I weight lift and work out!

ASICS Women''s Field Jersey

ASICS Women''s Field Jersey, Black/White, MediumHowever, for a XXL, this is very small. If you are exercising and do not mind a very tight top, it will be fine. But, if you would like some room, I would order 2 sizes up. I know to usually order one size up in tops like this, but this does not stretch well and is tight for exercise. Looks nice otherwise, though and is of good quality.

Wasn''t too sure what i was going to get and not impressed with what I got either. was hoping I could workout in this but the fabric is cheap so probably only wear this doing very light stuff. I usually wear a small (6) but this small wasn''t the fit I quite like. Wasn''t quite as fitted as I wanted. But it has good length. SO if you don''t want anything too tight and gives you tummy room, I''d say this shirt would be good for you. Still not a fan of such high polyester in my shirts (92%) the 8% is spandex. Could have bought something else.
