I bought these pads not only for volleyball use but for my daughter to wear figure skating. Figure skating pads are ridiculously over-priced so I looked for something comparable. These pads are comfortable for my daughter to wear, do not interfere with skating technique AND they are much thicker than the $35.00 pads from the figure skating companies.

I have to say that they feel ok when worn and they do feel and look like the can provide good all around protection.

The problem is that I have to constantly keep readjusting them. I didn''t notice that they had moved from the correct placement and hurt my knee unprotected. They are OK if you are ok with constant readjustments.

I actually use these for elbow pads. I practice a full contact martial art and he need protection from one point of the elbow to the other. With the wing design of these it covers the elbow point to point.

I wear mine 2 to 3 times a week and they take a beating. My last pair lasted 3 years before I replaced them. I am very happy with them all around.

I''m a medium sized woman. I wear size 8 pants, and these are so tight around the legs that they leave marks whenever I wear them. They''ve got good coverage at the knee, but unless you''re a kid or a size 6 or smaller, they won''t work for you.
