ASICS Gear Bag

ASICS Gear Bag, Black, One SizeGreat bag! Very roomy for all of my son''s wrestling gear. Wide and thick shoulder straps. Sturdy material and as big as the Nike duffle bag he was using.

I used this backpack for wrestling, and it was amazing, and now i use it for swimming, and once again...Great! plenty of room for just about anything!

This bag is GREAT. I originally bought it to use as a travel bag for a vacation with my family. We were planning on taking a train into NYC and I figured it would be easy to carry with lots of space for a casual week in the city. And I was right. It is surprisingly roomy, and the outer compartment--with mesh--is perfect for clothes after they''ve been worn. Now that the vacation is over, I use it for my gym bag and again, it is perfect. It is easy to carry, it has an outer pocket for knick knacks (club ids, head phones, keys, etc), and the mesh is great for sweaty clothes after a workout. It is a great deal--I love it.

Would purchase this brand again. A good buy.

CrossFit Ab Mat Back Pad by Rubberbanditz For Total Core Workout

CrossFit Ab Mat Back Pad by Rubberbanditz For Total Core WorkoutTrainer had this in his gym. Works great I would recommend people to get it. The one I got, got to me real quick

This isn''t a real Abmat. The title is misleading with putting "Ab Mat". The space played a little trickery on my eyes. Anyways, that''s my fault, but I think it''s pretty shady. While removing it from the plastic, I was stabbed in the finger by one the of the staples used the back of it. Not the greatest quality and it sits a little higher than a real Abmat. Not as comfortable but it get''s the job done. Won''t be recommending this product to anyone else.

Altus Athletic 55cm 600-Pound Body Ball with DVD (Metallic Blue)

Altus Athletic 55cm 600-Pound Body Ball with DVDThe exercise ball, the tape measure & pump are all great, and I am happy with my purchase. I''m disappointed with the enclosed mini-DVD ("Complete Workout"), which is damaged and doesn''t play on pc or DVD player. It seems a shame to bother enclosing the DVD when it doesn''t work. If not for this, I would give it 5 stars.

I love Altus Body Ball, but I got the weighted version and I love it! The ball has 2Lb of sand fill. It is ideal for using it as a chair because you do not have to chase the ball all over the places at your office. And you can easily do some exercises whenever you get a break from work. Also the added weight makes you work harder to move the ball with your core muscles and your legs. It is perfect for my need!

I have not seen any weighted version on Amazon because this is some new trend. So I post my comment here because the brand is the same and I am very satisfied with the quality of it.

To look for weighted version, take a look at Altus Body Ball package, the left bottom section should say "WEIGHTED BALL PROVIDES ADDED WORKOUT OPTIONS AND BALL WILL NOT ROLL AWAY" (The regular ball says "USE FOR CORE, STRENGTH,FLEXIBILITY, YOGA OR PILATES")

This ball is perfect for 5'' 5''6". We exercise as a family but opt not to invest in expensive equipment. These balls are great. We purchased 2 for our kids (I already owned a 65cm for me and hubby). We also purchased the 10 Minute Balance Ball video to exercise all parts of our body in 10 minute increments. Great purchase.

Russell Athletic 100% cotton Active Capri

Russell Athletic 100% cotton Active Capri - Pink SI purchased these capris for my soon-to-be 13 year old daughter who has just outgrown XL sizes in kids clothes. She stands just under 5'' 3" tall and weighs in around 110 lbs. I purchased the medium size for her and they really fit her well. Plus, she likes them! Which is, in my mind, a really important selling point for moms of picky about their clothes preteen girls. I plan to purchase all the other colors that come in a medium for her.

Comfortable for working out in. They do run small and shrink ---100% cotton after all. Should have considered that before buying.

Have no fear that these capris are "below the waist." They may look like it in the picture, but I am wearing them right now and the waist band sits directly on my waist. These capris are quite comfortable. I wore them to yoga this morning and I had no bunching, ride up or slippage. In fact, I just ordered them in white. The pink is unfortunately sold out in my size or I would''ve gotten those too. For the price, I would highly recommend these capris. No, the material is not stellar, but it is good enough and they are very comfortable.

I have been wearing these kind of capris and also the long pants and have always loved them. The stores where I was buying them have quit carrying your brand and I don''t know why. These light weight no-pocket pants are just perfect----the way they used to be. I don''t like the wide waistband and they seem to be of a much cheaper quality in the material . PLEASE go back to the old design or you will lose a good customer. Also, I am having a hard time ordering my size and color in both of these style of pants. Thank you for ever making these O SO Comfortable pants in the first place.

Smooth Fitness 5.45 Folding Treadmill

Smooth Fitness 5.45 Folding TreadmillConsider buying it from the manufacturer web site (smoothfitness.com). Why? This thing is massive! Read on...

GOOD POINTS: My wife and I use it every day. It is solid as a rock and quiet. We absolutely got our money''s worth and I''d buy it again, hands-down.

BAD POINTS: It is MASSIVE! Because we bought this from Amazon, it came shipped to us just like you''d think. But at 200+ lbs, it remained in our garage until five guys from church came and carried it to our basement. Once there, I had to assemble it.

Mind you, assembly is mostly-done for you. But there''s work for you to do, and don''t make any mistake about it. Setting this thing up takes time and effort, but it''s worth it.

ADVICE: buy this from the manufacturer''s web site and pay for their White Glove service. If you do, once it arrives someone will lug it to any room in your home and *then* assemble it for you. Trust me on this, just spend the money and let someone else deal with it! Learn from my mistake. If you opt to save money like I did, you will be sorry you did when this thing arrives at the end of your driveway. At least I was.

One last thing: make sure where you put it has an AC outlet nearby. You will need it (this thing needs power). If you do like me and put it in your basement, go out and buy a power-strip (with a 10-foot or more cord) and have it handy, so the installation people can plug it in once it''s all assembled. In our case, I even taped-down the power-strip cable to the floor, so you don''t trip over it.

Again, once assembled and where it''s suppose to be in your home, this is money well spent. I can''t tell you enough how solid and reliable it is. Just pay someone else to deal with the set-up hassle and you''ll be all set.

Like the other reviewers have mentioned, this treadmill is HUGE. I''ve owned 3 others in the past and this one has the biggest "head unit" (where the display is located) of any I''ve owned. The belt seems a bit narrower because I am always nicking the sides when I run.

The display is pretty good, but if I have one complaint other than the non-colored characters (blue or orange would have been better to see in low lighitng): The Speed and Distance swap. I honestly thought from the manual I had downloaded and reading the description that these would both display all the time. To me, these are two things that should ALWAYS be shown. Other things that are less important ARE shown: Heart Rate, Incline percentage (who the heck needs to see that ALL the time?), and Calories burned. Time is also shown separately, but I do consider this one to be important. To me, the items that should ALWAYS show on their own are Speed, Distance, and Time. The rest can swap. Heart Rate especially seems like a strange item to always display since you have to grip the bars to get anything other than "P" displayed.

The reason this layout bothers me is if you happen to end your workout while the Speed/Distance part of the display is on the Speed, you will never know what the Distance was unless you restart the treadmill and let it run until it''s time for the Distance to display again. This is what really causes me to give this treadmill a 4 and not a 5.

But this brings me to something that I didn''t see explained in the manual that IS a big bonus: when you press Stop it is actually only Pausing so that you CAN continue to work out with the last known stats as long as the treadmill hasn''t been powered down (which happens after a few minutes of non-use) or as long as you haven''t pressed Stop twice. The button is not labeled Pause, though, so it''s not necessarily intuitive.

As for its performance, the only treadmill I had that was as comfortable was my Vision Fitness. This thing runs smoothly, feels comfortable, and costs about four-hundred dollars less than the Vision Fitness. I''ve only had it for about 3 weeks, but I run on it at least 2 times per week and walk all the other days. It seems durable and doesn''t shake much at all. The drink holders could be a bit wider (or maybe just one of them), but it holds a bottle of Propel just fine. I didn''t get my free water bottle for some reason.

I bought this direct from Smooth and had the White Glove/complete install service. I agree with the reviewer who said PAY the EXTRA. Seriously, it''s humongous and I can only imagine how much a pain it would be getting it inside my house. The people who put it together are the delivery folks, though, and they told me they get to see a short video on how to assemble ONE model of Smooth''s treadmills. It showed. They got it done, but treadmill pros would''ve taken a lot less time and gotten less confused. All in all, I am quite pleased with this treadmill, however. I''d go for a smaller one in an apartment unless you don''t bother with furniture.

We live in a small house but not an apartment (north-east tri-state area... houses are small) anyway, we bought this from the manufacturer and when it arrived he box was enormous.

It takes some time to assemble and is not really *that* ready out of the box.

Unfortunately we could not find a single place to put it because it was just too big. Even when folded the belt part only goes up at a 45 degree angle so it still sticks out way too much and obstructs everything. It should really fold up closer to 90 degrees.

Also once its set it simply has to stay there because it will not go though a standard doorway assembled and if you try to move it after disassembling it be ready for a surprise; It simply will not stay flat because of the hydraulic device thing underneath it will ''snap'' it like a giant inverted mouse trap! You have to find a way to tie the thing together but the strong pressure broke all the ties we had...what a hassle! .. just to get it through a darn doorway!!

Great performance but BULKY, HEAVY and a HASSLE to transport.

Having all the features I needed (long-wide tread, 2+hp, with good speed, and incline), this treadmill is the best for the money. The only things not attached are some plastic covering pieces and the hand steady bars. So don''t even think about moving it part-by-part somewhere. As stated earlier this unit is heavy, but movable by 2 men (even up stairs). Drop off service will not bring unit into your house unless your door can accomidate a forklift.

Pros:

* Best value for the money

* Silent motor

* Rock solid

Cons:

* Deck movement squeeks a little on inclines 2 and 3.

I have had terrible customer service from this company and I''ve never even had the actual product in my house. Never have I ever had such terrible terrible service from a company before that is so highly recommended on so many websites. First I ordered my machine, and after 2 weeks of waiting I emailed customer service and was told that it was, in fact, on back order and would be another three weeks before I received it. Why I was not told this in an email when I first placed my order I don''t know. Then two days after being told it was going to be three weeks I received a phone call telling me that in fact it was not going to be three weeks, but two. Two weeks came and went and nothing happened. Three weeks came and went and nothing happened. Four weeks later I called to find out where my treadmill was and was then told that it was still on back order and was going to be another three weeks before the shipment came in. Again, I had received no email or phone call letting me know there was another delay in shipment. Deciding that I would not like to wait another three weeks to find out that it would be another X amount of weeks before I actually received it in my house and never being offered anything such as free set up for the serious delay of my order I decided to cancel. And now I can''t get my refund. I was told that it would be 5-7 business days before I would see the refund in my account, it is now business day number 8 and not only is customer service suspiciously closed during hours that according to their website they are supposed to be open but I still have not received my refund a refund, in my opinion should have been extremely fast seeing as how the product is still on back order. I recommend going to Sears they have a great selection of treadmills and are always having excellent sales and even better you can try them out before you buy.

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise BeltI''ve never used a weight belt before but I have used several weight vests before and this one has been better than both both in construction quality and comfort.

The fabric type and padding are similar to most other vests and belts like it, the big difference with this belt versus those other ones is the quality of the stitching. The stitching is not only higher quality its done with a heavier thread. Out of the box there were no straggling threads or anything, it looked clean and neat like you normally see on higher end belts and vests. Its also stayed that way after several weeks use which is a good sign in my experience, usually the crappier stuff starts to stretch and come loose in that time frame. The 2 cheap vests I''ve bought before fell apart in less than a year and I never put more than 10 lbs in them.

The other thing that really stood out to me is quality of the velcro and the nylon loops. You can tell just by picking up the belt and putting it on that it won''t be falling apart any time soon. There is absolutely no give or stretching once the belt is on. It stays put when I run and I usually run for around an hour to 40 minutes. It also stays comfortable unlike the vests I''ve used. Those vests would usually start to hurt my back after a while but with the belt that isn''t an issue at all.

The weights themselves are coating with vynil or powder coating, which is good. The cheaper vests and belts tend to just paint them, which wears off fast and due to sweat they become encrusted with rust within a few months or weeks.

FYI the "reflective strip" is the only thing about this product is a joke. It has almost no visibility at all since it tends to fold up on you when running and doesn''t really offer much in the way of reflectivity even when not rolled up.

So far I only have around 6 lbs of weight in the belt so far, started with 3 lbs, and it is plenty for a long walk or run! Always start slow when using weight vests or belts, you''d be surprised how much a little extra weight will whoop your butt in the beginning. But keep at it and it gets easier fast.

Besides the strip the only other thing I''d change about the belt is the price. IMO it should''ve been $10-15 cheaper, there just isn''t much to it at all. Otherwise its a solid belt.

I got this to wear while doing yoga, so I could build muscle and flexibility simultaneously. So far, it works great. I love that I can slowly add more weight as my strength increases. The weights are easy to add and remove. The velcro fastener is secure and has plenty of leeway: I have a 32 inch waist and there''s close to 2 feet of extra velcro for the closure. Once I fasten it, it doesn''t slide around much, even when I''m in downward-dog position. The inside is lightly padded so it doesn''t feel clunky or rough against the skin.

Buy All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt Now

I bought this weight belt to add to my 40 lb weight vest I currently use to train with. It fits well, is adjustable (both for width and weight) and all around well made.

The belt sits well around the waist and doesn''t drag down as I thought it would, which was a good surprise. The added resistance puts my total weight up to 50 pounds which is perfect for the type of exercises I do.

Just a quick word of caution, consult your trainer or a knowledgable friend before adding weight vests and belts to your workout. I''ve known a couple people who started out with far too much weight and it did cause some discomfort sometimes can cause injury. So please be careful in that regard.

I work out almost every morning with the Leslie Sansone walk aerobic programs. I don''t like exercising for more than 45 minutes, and I wanted to boost my workouts with a weighted belt so I''d get more bang for my buck--instead of choosing one-hour videos. I tried a two-pounder, which was too light to be effective, and I then tried a five-pounder, which was pretty good, but not challenging enough. The ten-pound belt is perfect for me. I''m a senior citizen who weighs around 117 pounds, and ten pounds added to my waist while exercising makes a big difference--because it''s quite a relief when you remove it after the workout is over, so you know its heft has enhanced that workout.

The belt is well made and can be modified very easily if you want to decrease/increase the poundage. The area of the belt that touches your body is smooth nylon and very well quilted for comfort, and the Velcro closure is strong and reliable. Now the hardest part of my exercise regimen is lifting the belt from its shelf and holding it in the right position as I wrap it around my body. I have arthritis and I''m not as agile as I used to be, but I''ve figured out the right maneuvers to deal with the problem.

At first I thought the price was a bit steep, but the belt has proved to be worth every penny!

Want All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt Discount?

My reason for purchasing this was different from those of other reviewers: I have bone density problems, despite the fact that I get regular exercise and consider myself to be pretty strong. My hip is the worst spot, so my doctor told me to buy a weight belt and walk with it, gradually increasing the weight I carry. All Sports Authority had was a weight vest, which would have been unwearable for at least half of the year here in Arizona. I found this belt on Amazon and it has been perfect. It''s padded enough that I forget I have it on when I walk the dogs in the morning. The weights are small enough that you have a lot of control over the difference you feel when you increase the load. It''s sturdy and well-constructed. Unlike other reviewers I don''t think it was over-priced, although I have to admit that when I bought mine less than two weeks ago it was $20 cheaper than the price it''s listed at now. It''s good not just for walking but for wearing while doing house chores or anything else that would lend itself to simultaneous weight-bearing exercise. I''m happy with it, and hope to see results.

CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Winter Training Kit

CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Winter Training KitThis is the first trainer I have ever owned / used. The product is high quality there is nothing cheap or flimsy about its construction. The unit comes fully assembled just a few simple setup tasks and I was ready to ride. I also like all the extras that come in the winter kit (saved me having to buy these later).

As the product manual and a friend both warned me, you can''t use knobby MTB tires on the trainer just too noisy. I picked up a cheap slick tire and mounted that to an old rim that I will just use with the trainer.

This kit has everything you need to get ready for a race and then some. The box includes a sweat catcher, two training blocks, a trainer skewer, training DVD, and the magneto pro trainer. What I can say about the trainer is that it does wear your tire out really fast and I would recommend getting a spare tire that lasts long from the tire you would use outside. Flats are not fun at all when you go outside and the tire is more prone to flats since the tire has been smoothed out. If you are going to use the trainer make sure to use slick tires and for the people who plan to use a mountain bike on the trainer.

The overall quality is amazing though, I can sprint on the trainer and it take whatever pace I bring to it without problems. I know for a fact that I will not have to worry about the trainer breaking anytime soon, the only instance I thought I broke the trainer was when I was undoing the pegs on the legs and I thought I lost the peg. Used a screwdriver to get it back to place. This is what I wanted all this time and waited for the price to drop by another 50 before actually getting it. traded in 35 video games in order to get this trainer. Well worth the 400 dollars, I actually only paid 100 since I traded in video games.

The fit on this jacket is perfect; my wife is agog when I wear it; it''s wonderfully water and wind resistant and incredibly lightweight. The jacket is *not* lined and the material is quite thin. It''s so thin that I''m a little nervous about its strength, but it fits well so snags are not likely. The chest pocket is small, but large enough for a phone. I have the red and the color is very nice too. Overall, if you do not need cold weather protection, I strongly recommend this jacket.

As of 02/12/2012---Detailed Analysis

Ok. I will try to make this review as detailed as I can for the limited amount of time that I have had the watch. So here it goes!

-From what I can tell, most people are only having luck being able to buy the watch from small running stores. Everyone that I know of that is buying online is EXTREMELY backordered. However, I have heard from DCRainmaker.com that Garmin is putting together a bigger team to meet the outstanding demand from this watch and will hopefully be on a standard production time frame by the time the Tri season really starts.

----My previous experiences with Garmin watches are as follows:

''I own a Forerunner 110 (and now the 910xt). My father owns a Forerunner 305. My mother owns a Forerunner 405. Their neighbor owns the Forerunner 310xt. As I am a college student, I have had to personally set up both of my parents'' watches due to the tech being kind of over their heads so I have quite a bit of experience with those watches. I have only very shortly messed with the 310xt.

''In my opinion, the 910xt is far superior to any of these watches. The 305 is definitely bulkier and doesn''t sit on the wrist nearly as comfortably. Furthermore, it is only water RESISTANT and not waterproof like the 910xt. The 405 that my mother has, as many of you already know, is basically a huge flop on Garmin''s side due to the finicky touch bezel so the 910xt well outranks that watch on a plethora of accounts. The 310xt is the closest in comparison obviously as it is waterproof like the 910xt but it lacks any of the true swimming capabilities that is making the 910xt such a hit. It is also a tad bit bulkier on the wrist and has bright orange accents. I don''t mind orange at all as I am in the Auburn University Doctor of Pharmacy program! However, the black color of the 910xt definitely looks very sleek and will go well with anything. I have already had quite a few compliments from my friends on how nice the watch looks.

----Now about the 910xt specifically:

==the watch turns on and off very quickly and gives you a battery logo on the shutdown to show you how much battery is left which is a nice feature.

==My ONLY gripe with the watch so far is that some of the buttons on the sides of the watch (not the start or lap buttons) can be a little difficult to press at times. It just takes a little more effort to press them in than it took on my previous fr110. Maybe this is a good feature to prevent accidental button pushes? I don''t know. But I have noticed it taking SLIGHTLY more effort to press the buttons in. However, I will state that it is STILL possible to press the side buttons during a run (to change screens perhaps) without having to put forth too much effort and sacrifice any type of energy during the run.

==the screen is very easy to navigate once you understand it. You do have to change the sport mode to alter the settings for that sport. For example, if you want to change your bike data fields, you first need to hold mode to change sport modes and THEN go to the settings menu to be able to access the bike settings. Other than that, everything is pretty straight forward.

==The watch itself is spectacular. As far as I have been able to stress the watch, I have not come up with any type of software problem. That is not to say that there are not any in the system somewhere, but I have not had the opportunity to use every single feature of the watch (as there are ENDLESS features) and thus have not found one yet. I don''t want to jinx it already but thus far it seems like Garmin did an outstanding job of getting this watch out there without any major flaws.

==I have used the interval capability of the watch and that worked flawlessly for me. I went to the track after having made up a workout on Garmin connect to upload onto the watch. However, once I arrived at the track I realized that I never actually sent the workout to the device! I was pissed. BUT, I went into the menu of the watch and was able to recreate my ENTIRE interval workout in less than 1 minute. It was awesome. The function worked very well for creating interval workouts. It asks how many times you want to repeat the interval and how far the interval should be (it also gives the option for time rather than distance for the interval as well). Then it asks about the rest period and whether it should be distance or time also. Furthermore, it lets you specify your "targets" for each interval such as Heart Rate, Pace, etc. I did not use the feature this time around so cannot comment on that specifically.

===The screen of the watch is more inset than on the 310xt which is a nice feature to minimize scratching on the screen.

Now for the interval workout, if you decide to have a warm up or cool down, you must hit lap at the end of your workout to start the actual interval sequence and it starts immediately when you hit lap. My interval was set up as a quarter mile on the track. As you get close to your marker, the watch actually gives you warning beeps that you are about to switch into your rest period. It typically beeped 5 times before one final (different) beep and vibration signaled the end of the lap. It did the same for the rest periods as well (mine were 200m recovery jogs). The one thing that I did not expect, however, is that the watch backlight comes on each time you finished one interval/rest period. This REALLY came in handy as I was running at night on a track with only one light fixture.

As a side note, there was one extra feature that I found to be QUITE handy that night on the track. The watch has a special feature during running mode only (and only once a workout has begun) that allows you to "tap" the screen of the watch twice to turn on the backlight. I say "tap" because in actuality you kind of have to slap your wrist. Not to say that you are really hitting your watch or that it''s difficult to activate the backlight, moreso just that a simple "tap" doesn''t quite do the trick. This feature was far superior to the idea of trying to hit the enter button on the side of the watch whilst running to turn on the backlight.

----Swimming Capabilities:

==for the most part, I haven''t been able to try out most of the features of the swim portion of the watch. I did one short swim workout just to see exactly how it all worked and to assure it was functioning smoothly. The watch, again, did exactly as promised. I set up my watch to a 25m pool and proceeded to swim laps. During a flip turn I tried glancing at the watch for distance but it wasn''t the easiest thing in the world. Definitely something that im going to have to practice. However, I did notice that if you look at the watch during a flip turn, you will actually only see your distance MINUS the last 25m. This is because the watch does not register the last lap until the entire flip turn/streamline process is over. In other words, if you are doing a long workout and don''t want to stop to look at the watch and try to glance at it during a flip-turn, if you have JUST completed the 1000m mark at that wall then when you look at your watch during the flip-turn it will only say 975m rather than the actual 1000m. This is not a glitch in the watch. It is just how the algorithm works for computing your laps and distance.

For any of you wondering, I did press a few of the buttons under the water such as the front start/stop and lap/reset buttons without any problems. I know sometimes it seems counterintuitive to press buttons on something while underwater for fear of letting in any water but I have not had any problems with it and the watch continued to work great.

Another side note on the swimming capability is that I realized that the strokes per lap feature actually only calculates the one arm stroke calculations. Basically if it says that you averaged 11 strokes per lap, then that means that it''s really around 22 if you count each arm as a stroke. Just thought I would throw that in there.

----Size:

==yes the watch is big. Much bigger than my previous forerunner 110. However, it is still without a doubt smaller than the 305 and 310xt. In fact, with the quick release kit installed on the watch whilst hooked up to the wrist strap, the 910xt is still about .05 inches shallower than the 310xt as is. The watch will probably still give most triathletes a problem when removing a wetsuit with sleeves but as mine is sleeveless I can''t say for sure but it does give me a few problems with just a standard jacket removal.

---Quick release kit:

==BUY IT. one of the smartest things that you can buy to accompany this watch is the quick release kit. The kit functions beautifully between bike and wrist. The 90 degree turn is very easy. I have noticed on my kit that the watch goes in and removes easier from the bike mount than the wrist mount actually. This is a pro and a con. I like that it''s stiffer on the wrist to avoid it being accidentally dislodged if it is hit during a triathlon mass start but it also adds some extra stress onto the wrist strap screws. When you twist it off, you have to twist pretty hard and it seems like this would eventually wear down the wrist strap pin and screws. However, I am talking more like years rather than mere months so honestly not too much to worry about.

==another plus of the quick release kit, however, is the ability to just pop the watch off before taking off a jacket or wetsuit. It is easy enough to pop off right after the swim and hold in your hand while taking off the wetsuit and popping it back on after that sleeve is done.

----Heart Rate Monitor

==upgrading from the old plastic hr monitor, this strap is great. Very comfortable and stays in place well. Tightens down quite a bit for even very petite persons as well (I tried it on my girlfriend who has problems fitting into the plastic one). It should be noted that Garmin has supplied the NEW version of the Premium HR strap that was just released this past summer. Yes, there are TWO premium hr straps, the earlier version having problems with spikes in data and such. So far, I have not had any problems with spikes in the data and the strap works very well!

Final Consensus:

Overall this is a spectacular watch with unlimited features. Any true triathlete or ultradistance runner (for the 20hr battery life and barometric altimeter) really has no other choice but to get this watch as an all-inclusive feature watch. It has everything you could possible need and want.

And again, I will state that so far I have not found any problems or software quirks in the watch and I have been messing with the history, data fields, workouts, etc continuously to make it the way I want it. This watch is nothing short of spectacular.

If I happen to discover any particularly cool features in the future then I will come back here and update this review. I will also update if I ever find a glitch in the system of any type. So until I update this review, you can safely assume that I have yet to find any glitch or problems with the watch. I am adamant about keeping updated.

I know this is long but I hope it helps you decide in whether this watch is really worth it to you. Any other information can be found by going to Garmin''s website and downloading the owner''s manual and reading it. It gives you all the features and how to execute them. And like I said, they all work (so far).

Good luck in your training and races this year and many years to come with this watch!!

::::UPDATE INFO as of 02/23/2012::::

-just to keep with being updated like i promised, garmin has just issued a software update today (2/23/12) to fix the following issues:

Changes made from version 2.30 to 2.40:

Improved calculation of instantaneous pace.

Fixed occasional watch freeze issue during pool swim.

Fixed potential dropout of speed/cadence data when using speed/cadence sensor and particular power meters when GPS off.

Fixed occasional problem of multisport activities containing pool swim not uploading to Garmin Connect.

Made improvement to reduce elevation spikes at beginning of activities.

-I have not personally experienced any of these particular problems in my watch but the update is still a welcome sight to see Garmin working hard to keep their software running smoothly!

also, just to let you know how the update process went:

---everything ran very smoothly without me having to intervene.

---once the ant agent sent the update to the watch, it did take between 5 and 10 mins for the watch to fully download the update so for those of you wishing to do this before your next workout, I would reconsider.

---however, once it was downloaded onto the watch, the actual software update on the watch took only a minute or two

---no personal data was changed/deleted during the update that I have been able to find which is definitely a positive as I know other 310xt owners have had this problem with previous software updates

NOTE: if you are still having problems with instant pace not being smooth after this update as others have mentioned, @Doug Bishop (another reviewer here on Amazon) mentioned that changing the data recording from "Smart Recording" to "Every Second" has helped him! Worth a shot for those of you out there who are still having problems with instantaneous pace! Furthermore, "Every Second" recording gives a more accurate data curve anyway. If it works for you then kudos to @Doug!

:::Feature Update and Problems Update as of 04/03/2012:::

--not much has changed with the watch since my last update

--however, I have noticed a few times that the screen on the watch has fogged up just a slight bit when it was cooler outside. I havent noticed the problem during really hot days at all but rather cooler days with direct sunlight. I have researched this problem and it does NOT denote a waterproofing issue in the watch but rather a failed attempt at putting the device together in a humid-less environment like it should have been causing minimal amounts of humidity to get trapped under the screen. Garmin does state this on their FAQs page regarding all of their watches.

--Also, I have had 1 instance in which I was cycling down a hill at approx 30mph and the watch randomly went into Auto Pause and then immediately Auto Resume right afterward. it didnt really affect the data since it happened so quickly but i just thought that i''d mention it. (as a side note i DO have my watch set to Auto Pause when stopped so more than likely this will not happen if this feature is disabled)

--the other point to this update on my review is to point out a feature of the watch that I have noticed after my workouts that Garmin does not mention on the product page or in the Owner''s Manual but that i find very nice and handy!

---->the watch has a feature called "Recovery Heart Rate" that comes up about a minute or two after a workout is STOPPED. When you are done with a workout, if you just leave the watch alone after pressing the Start/Stop button then in about 1 or 2 minutes(not sure which as i''ve never actually timed the delay) after pushing the button the watch will beep again and a screen with a "Recovery Heart Rate [BPM]" denotation will appear. Next to this message it will give you your exact heart rate when it beeped (i.e. 147bpm) and the change in beats per minute that occurred when you stopped the activity. For example, you might see: "Recovery Heart Rate [147]--[30bpm]" Basically what this screen is telling you is that from the moment you pressed stop on the activity, the watch has been counting down to approximately 60 seconds later and states your current heart rate and the change in heart rate that you have experienced (effectively showing you how in shape you are or how hard your workout was because a wider recovery parameter (i.e. 60bpm rather than 30bpm) denotes higher fitness). In other words, when you stopped the activity, your heart rate was at 177 bpm (not sure if this number is the exact number EXACTLY WHEN you press stop or if it is the Average heart rate from the activity) and in 60 seconds it fell to 147bpm.

--the trick to being able to utilize this feature is to NOT save/reset your activity immediately when you are done as this will void the algorithm to calculate the recovery heart rate but rather just leave the watch alone for a minute or two

--I just thought I would share this information because (as far as I have been able to look) Garmin does not mention this feature in any of their manuals nor on their product page but I think that this feature is really quite useful and should be shared!

--As you can see there are a NUMBER of updates this time around! I''m excited that some of my little quirks that I''ve had with the watch (particularly with swimming calculations in a pool) are now finally addressed! Can''t wait to try out the fixed distance alerts!

--The update took nearly 20 minutes to download onto the watch from the ANT agent but once it downloaded it only took about 2 minutes to install with no problems!

In all honesty, this is the main reason that I bought this watch to begin with: it has built-in ALL of the hardware that is required for it to be the watch of all watches. Only minor software updates across time are needed to make this watch flawless and I plan on having this watch for quite some time. Glad to see Garmin on top of their game with this software update!

I sold my 310XT knowing this watch would be great. I heard a lot of people state they would wait for the next gen. That isn''t how it works as the hardware isn''t'' really changed there''s just a firmware update offered to fix any bugs. I''ve used this watch for the swim, bike, and run multiple times now and have to say that it''s well worth the money. First, the swim.... The information it gives you is insanely accurate. I found the fact that it knows when you''re taking a rest and when your working is great along with the fact it gives the lengths, stroke count, efficiency rating and much more. All great stuff that isn''t really offered on a GPS unit. As it is winter I have yet to use it in open water. The only downside that I can see in the water is that if you''re doing kick sets without using your arms it doesn''t count it as I think that the gyroscope or whatever they use recognizes the motion of your arms. Maybe there will be a fix for this, maybe not. Either way that''s not a big deal. The bike is about the same features it''s always had and it all works great. The problem is the run. For me on the run the most important things are the pace, hr, distance, time, and cadence. The time, distance, and hr all work great. However, the pace is horrible. It''s all over the place. For whatever reason Garmin didn''t put the normal smoothing in so it reads 4:50 per mile then 10:15 per mile 2 seconds later. It jumps all over like this constantly and is quite annoying. You can put it on average and that works fine but that doesn''t give a up to the minute readout and doesn''t help very much especially the longer you get into your run. The footpod helps but you have to calibrate and then remember to always put it on your shoe which is annoying. Plus the footpod is super slow in updating your cadence and that''s a down side too.

All in all I would still recommend the watch even as is. The swim information alone makes it worth it. I would like to see a firmware update fix the foot pod issues and the pace issues but other than that this which is about as solid as it comes.

About me:

Ultra runner. Put in lots of miles both on roads and trails. I don''t use the watch for swimming or cycling so I will make no comments regarding those features. I have owned the first generation Forerunner, a 205, 305, a Globalsat G-Sport 625M, and a Timex Run Trainer GPS.

The Good:

As a runner who routinely does runs which last in excess of 8 hours, I need a GPS watch with plenty of battery life. The 910XT claims 20 hours with GPS turned on; although I never fully drained the watch, I can vouch for it having a solid battery. Also, the backlight on the device is extremely bright--brighter than any other GPS watch. The form factor is an improvement over previous generation Forerunners. Built-in altimeter.

The Acceptable:

The customizable fields remain virtually unchanged from previous Forerunner models--not a problem for me, but don''t expect revolutionary new features in your data fields for running. The unit has a vibration feature--this is beneficial since the "audible" alarm feature quit working consistently within a few months of using the device (like both the 205 & 305 were prone to do). Still uses ANT+ for syncing; would have liked to see a WiFi and Bluetooth solution as well.

The Bad:

The Garmin Forerunner 910XT almost assuredly contains flawed hardware; Garmin pushed the release date back by months (missing the Christmas season) and then rolled it out only in limited quantities admitting that there was a hardware "issue" although they never would state what it was. From the moment it was released users (myself included) began to experience a consistent set of problems with the device, yet Garmin refused to engage users on their forums or provide info on the status of firmware updates. It took them approximately 3.5 months to release the latest firmware (2.50) but they failed to fix the most serious problems--and those are some of the most fundamental for the device. I highly recommend anyone considering buying this device to read the 910XT forums at the Garmin site for the most up to date information regarding user experience. Since I don''t cycle or swim, I will not comment in-depth on those issues, however I will note that countless cyclists have reported that the device shuts itself off when using the bike mount. As a runner, I have personally encountered a few problems, two of which I consider very serious. First, the "instant pace" feature has never worked well on the 910XT; the latest firmware update has addressed this problem somewhat, but it is still not fixed. This is inexcusable since it has worked in every other generation of the Forerunner series. More importantly, however, is that the unit will turn itself off if you are running a "course" uploaded to the device. As mentioned previously, the unit also shuts itself off at times whilst cycling. Garmin was alerted to this problem by scores of customers from the first week the device was released; the newest firmware fails to fix it leaving me to conclude that there is a hardware/design flaw that cannot be overcome with firmware. Also, the mapping feature included as part of the course is seriously flawed (whereas it had worked perfectly well in previous generations); the redraw/refresh rate of the maps is horribly slow; the maps will often disappear from the screen whilst running as well.

Other Thoughts:

Anyone considering purchasing the 910XT is most likely a serious athlete well acquainted with Garmin''s Forerunner line. Although the Forerunner line has been highly regarded, the 910XT shows signs that the hardware isn''t up to par with the myriad tasks it is trying to accomplish. If tons of users are reporting that the 910XT shuts itself off in mid-workout (both cycling and running) and after 3.5 months of waiting for firmware updates the issue still isn''t fixed, you have to really be dense to believe that it''s a minor problem.

I highly suspect that Garmin will release an "improved" version of this watch (much like they did with the 405CX line)that fixes many of the problems (with new hardware). Until then, my advice is to purchase the 310XT as a suitable substitute or just wait. And whatever you do, check the Garmin forums for updated issues prior to committing to buy this device--the 910XT isn''t a gamble worth taking with your hard earned money.

Have been using the watch for a week now, found that the Chicago Garmin store had a few in stock (they always sell out when they get them, so call ahead).

Have owned the 305, 310, and now the 910. I used the 310 for triathlons, actually found the 310 was pretty good with the latest update for mapping a swim. That said, the 910 rocks! Here''s what I''ve found useful so far with it:

* Size is not just significantly smaller than the 305 and 310, it really has some measure of style as well. Also, it just feels like a solid watch and I think the black looks excellent.

* The watch band is much easier to use than the 310. There are a larger number of slots to use to fasten the band, so it feels like it fits better to me. They also provide a watchband extension if you need to wear it over some sort of bulky garment.

* Can''t tell on battery life yet, but over the week of regular workouts as well as leaving it on overnight only depleted 23% of the battery.

* For swimming, the watch is amazing! It counts laps/intervals/strokes/distance per stroke/SWOLF score/efficiency (normalized value to make various types of swim workouts comparable)/stroke type with what for me has been complete accuracy. I had the Finis Swimsense watch and ended up returning it due to fogging and hard to read screen. The Garmin screen is easy to read, either out of or in the water. For swimming, it has both a lap pool and open water setting.

* It as a barometric altimeter built-in, so does elevation correction as well.

* A number of other software enhancements are nice: Virtual racer/training effect/run-walk setting.

* I use a Garmin Footpod and Speed/Cadence sensor as well.

* Immediately paired up with the Ant receiver I already had plugged into my computer, simple to set that up.

I''m quite pleased with the watch and so far it looks like they''ve done a very good job with the initial version of software. I was impressed by the software updates they did with the 310, so be interested to see what they do with the 910.

Excellent watch, highly recommended.

Tom

As many have already written this watch has software issues. It does not display pace accurately. There''s absolutely NO EXCUSE for Garmin releasing a training watch that doesn''t know a person''s pace. That''s the sole reason this is getting a one star rating. On top of this, it is a simple software fix that they have still failed to make.

There is a simple work around: don''t display pace and instead display lap pace. Lap pace has no issues and accurately describes your current pace. All the other pace features also work. Lap pace, ave pace, last lap pace are all accurate. The fact that everything else works fine shows to me it is just a software issue that Garmin could pretty easily fix if they bothered to spend 10 minutes on the issue. I probably would have given it four stars without this issue.

Why I really, really like this watch:

I bought this to supplement/replace my 405CX

The display is bigger and better. You can display four metrics at a time across four screens so 16 metrics. The font is BOLD and easy to see even in tough conditions. While working out, you can hit the down or up arrow to more quickly get the screen you want to see. Also, even at its smallest, the font is bold and readable even to old eyes that don''t see up close so well. The font describing each display is too small for my eyes to see when I have contacts in. So, I need to memorize which spot displays what. Still, this is sooo much better than the 405CX. On that watch, I can only see the big middle display with my contacts in.

The watch vibrates alerts. This is awesome!! I hate watches beeping at me and in loud conditions I would miss the beeps. I much prefer the vibration and I just turn off the audio alerts altogether. Also, the watch now alerts you (via beep or vibrate or both or none your choice) when it has a GPS lock. The 405 never did this. Awesome improvement.

The battery lasts forever. Well probably not forever but you can use it for an entire day with GPS. The manual claims 22 hrs I''ve yet to use it up when I started fully charged. The 405 claimed 8 hrs but it was really more like 6. Also, the 910 can be turned off so you can NOT waste the battery during travel time to your work out starting point.

It shows your recovery heart rate about one minute after you push ''stop'' if you don''t do the reset count downtime. Someone else mentioned that here. It a wonderful feature and not mentioned at all in the promotional material or users manual.

No touch bezel. The touch bezel in the 405 and 510 is a miserable feature. It has a life of its own in humid conditions which pretty much describes most of the heavily populated USA during most of the months of the year folks train a lot outside. The 910 completely relies on pushing buttons so now it only does things when you WANT the watch to do something. Also, the start/stop/lap/reset buttons are on the face of the watch. Everything else is on the sides. This keeps me from accidently hitting the wrong button when I don''t mean to.

GPS programming seems smarter than the 405 / 510. With the 405 or 510 if you stop your movement and forget to hit stop on the watch it will keep adding distance. (For example, you can sit on a bench for a 15 minute break and it will add 0.5 miles to your distance.) I think this is because of GPS not knowing your exact location so it keeps seeing you as 10-20 feet from the last place it thought you were and keeps adding this up even though you are not moving. The 910 seems to do a lot less of this. It''s still adds a bit of distance but over a 15 minute break it might be 0.05 miles instead of 0.5 miles.

Other things to note:

This watch is NOT smaller than other Garmin watches but it does stick out from your wrist less but to make up for that it is wider and taller. My guess is that it weighs pretty much the same. If you have a tiny wrist like mine, it can actually be a bit too big for your wrist. I got the cloth strap this makes that issue much better.

I have not used it for swimming and I don''t think I''m going to. It''s not worth the risk if there is even a chance of screen fogging.

The manual not very useful. It doesn''t show all the features. It is close to unintelligible. If I hadn''t already had the 405 and was sorta familiar with how Garmin watches were organized, I''m not sure if I could have figured this out. Garmin''s online help is no better.

Hint for female users: I skipped the heart rate monitor that came with the watch and instead got the original plastic hr monitor. I take off the strap and just place the main plastic part inside to top of my bra. It works great this way and is much more comfortable than having a strap wrapped around me and much easier to get in and out of and you don''t have to find a private place to do it. I''m not sure if this will work for all women but it might be worth trying if you hate have a bra, HR monitor strap, plus shirt all binding around you like I do.

ETA 04-Jun-2012

I have found that lap pace isn''t accurate either. Very disappointing. My latest work around is to reduce by lap distance to 0.25 miles. Last lap pace is accurate so by setting my laps as a very short distance, I''m getting constant feedback on my pace. Still, I think for a serious training regime, this wouldn''t work. It''s close enough for me.

(When I say not accurate, I mean not remotely accurate. It will show my pace as 10 minutes slower than I am going and it will stay that way for a full lap. Only when the lap is complete it then shows total time for the lap correctly. It''s not 5 minutes fast for half the time and 5 minutes slow for half the time. It''s just off all the time and usually shows me as going at a pace 5-10 minutes slower than I am actually moving.)

On the a positive: another feature I''m really, really liking is the ability to manually scroll through the metric screens. I now set the screens to not scroll at all. I just use the up and down button and they get me to any screen I need. It''s very nice for when all I care about is say, my heart rate. I just leave it on my HR screen but if I happen want to know my distance, then I can scroll to that screen and then back to my HR screen.

I''m also really, really still loving the giant display numbers. I can read these in any conditions. Rain, darkness, poor light, as I''m moving fast and don''t have time to hold my hand still, etc.

ETA 09-Sep-2012

Garmin''s support website has a post from 16-Aug-2012 that claims to have fixed the pace issue with a firmware update. I''m downloading it now. I''m planning an 11 mile hike today. I will post again if this fixes the issue.

See Garmin''s site > tech support > search on 910 > search on ''pace issues.'' Sorry, amazon removed the url.

BTW I''m still using the 910 over the 405 despite the pace issue. The display and button functionality/placement of the 910 is just so superior to the 405 that it''s worth the pace problems. I took my lap distance down to 0.10 miles so I get near continuous feedback on my pace that way.

Update 10-Sep-2012

The pace issue does seemed to be fixed!!! Or least, highly improved. The pace keeps nice and steady. It takes a few seconds of a changed pace for the watch to pick up on it which seems totally reasonable. Clearly there needs to be a lot of smoothing for the math equations seeing as GPS accuracy is only 15-20 feet and it only takes a reading every few seconds. Downloading the update is odd and I wasn''t 100% sure it took but it does seem to have. My watch now displays my version as 2.6.

Upping my stars to five.

New Balance Women''s Icefil Short Sleeve Shirt, Pink Shock, X-LargeIt fits really good, it makes me a good shape, the color is original, female and mainly the small sleeves help me to keep me dry

This shirt is one of the best i have bought for running. It''s a great material that keeps you cool during the heat, and surprisingly, when i ran in the cold, i wasn''t freezing in it! Also, i love the design and how the back has a reflector on it, very smart for people who run at dusk/dark. Over-all a wonderful buy, i recommend to all.

I ordered the pink shock in a small. Lets just say its definitely shocking. Its more of a neon pink than a light pink like it looks in the picture. Actually yea it looks nothing like the color shown. If I knew it was this bright I probably wouldnt have bought it. But anyways. It fits good and its light and comfortable. The small is good i also ordered a different one in a medium and it was a bit too loose. I wanted something that wasn''t tight but form fitting the small does that for me. I''m about 135lbs 5''6. It was a good buy when I got it on sale for $9.

Sunny SF-B1110 Indoor Cycling Bike

Sunny SF-B1110 Indoor Cycling BikeI spotted some spinning bikes at my gym which made me curious. The gym "spinning" classes are at 6 AM and 12 noon. No way that is going to happen for me.

So I bought this Sunny Spinning Bike on a lark installed it in my basement and cancelled my gym membership which I barely used anyway. I am making money on this deal!

I cannot compare this bike to any "spinner" bike that you would find at a gym since I have zero experience there but as someone who during summer rides my 1975 Motobecane road bike 10-15 miles on a daily basis while wearing flip flops I can say this:

Bike was packed quite well

Bike was easy to assemble with just the tools provided

All nuts and bolts etc were in four plastic bags labeled step 1 to 4 so assembly was super easy

I am 5'' 7" and was able to find good seat and hand positions on this bike

Resistance knob is very sensitive for me; a minor tweak will increase resistance rapidly

I looked at the other Sunny bikes and picked this one for the handle bars which offer quite a few positions

Only complaint is that the included water bottle is POS but who cares not a big deal

Anyway I bought a "spinner class" video which is a great motivator and sometimes I just "spin" to TV or the news. The perspiration pours out.

Color me quite satisfied.

I bought this thing for my wife who loves to spin. It''s pretty simple to set up and is a fairly solid build. It spins smoothly although definitely not as quiet and smooth as the more expensive bikes I''ve tried. It''s not noisy though, either. It''s heavy enough to not move around while you''re riding it and it''s also really super easy to move (when you want to) thanks to the two littles wheels on the front base. My wife likes the heavier wheel on it as compared to some of the cheaper smaller bikes. As one other reviewer noted, the handlebars wiggle around a bit and, unfortunately for them, they didn''t figure out that you can fix it by jamming a couple wood shims (from your local home improvement store) on both sides of the post up from the bottom of the neck. I did this and it''s been totally fine ever since and much more solid than without. We ditched the pedals and just put SPD''s on it so I can''t tell you what the stock pedals are like; they''re still in the plastic. The pedals going into the cranks don''t seem as perfectly squared as my more expensive mountain bike but it''s not a problem. It works well for someone in the 5''5" 5''9" range but I''m not so sure it would be safe to setup for someone in the 6''+ range unless you are OK with the racing bicyclist positioning (low handlebars) due to the handlebars needing to be pulled up higher making the stability issue more prevalent. All in all I think it was well worth the money although I see that it is now more expensive than when we bought it. Still probably a good deal for the current price and certainly much cheaper than the next level of bike.

Conclusion: I would recommend this to a friend unless you have disposable cash and can afford the pro stuff. It''s good enough to get results and won''t break the bank.

I have been a Spinning Instructor for over 15 years. I bought this bike for my own personal home use and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!! This bike rides just as smooth and efficient as the very expensive commercial brand. Ships fast and super easy assembly. I am 5''2" and it fits me perfectly. My husband is 6''2" and it''s just a tad bit small for him. Still I''m very impressed with this bike and it takes a lot to impress me. Spin on Spinners......Ride it like you stole it!!!!!!!!

After a lot of research, I put this bike on my Christmas list. My parents bought it for me, and my husband put it together. He had a few issues with parts, but he said they were very accommodating about sending him new pieces. The bike is fantastic. The seat is adjustable up and down and back and forth, and so are the handlebars. The bike is very quiet and if it''s not, you can adjust the cover to make it quiet. It gives me a great workout, and it was at a wonderful price right after Thanksgiving. It''s a very sturdy bike. I thought I would need different shoes and a seat cover, but the seat is just fine (my butt doesn''t hurt), and my feet don''t bother me just wearing regular running shoes. Great purchase!

Let me start this review by saying I am not an experience cyclist or have attended spinning classes before. So those experienced with these sort of bikes may want to take my review with a grain of salt. That being said I''m extremely pleased with my purchase.

The bike came almost entirely pre-assembled which was a plus. It took me about 10-15 minutes to put together. All you have to do is attach the seat, handlebars, pedals, and the feet of the bike. Also I found the seat to be pretty comfortable. I ordered a gel cover with my bike because I had seen alot of people complain about the seat, but the seat is fine as-is I likely won''t use the cover.

In terms of noise there is very little if any noise coming from the bike. I had seen reviews complaning about rattling with other sunny bikes. At least on my bike all seems well. There was a small blemish on the wheel that was causing some noise but i was able to scrape it off easier with a kitchen sponge. The bike was very stable during use and had more than enough resistance for me. (26 year old male, bit of a weakling though.) I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for just something to get some exercise on at a decent price, ($246 when I bought it).

ASICS Men''s Lacrosse Scrimmage Round-Neck

ASICS Men''s Lacrosse Scrimmage Round-Neck, Navy/White, Small-MediumThere are a variety of reasons to purchase this item, and I did so for a lightweight jersey to wear on hot days outside on the bicycle, playing volleyball, etc. Product was exactly as described and is comfortable to wear as a base layer. I was concerned that the thin sewing keeping to two jersey layers together would come apart, however after multiple washings it has held up. I would buy this product again!

Cathe Friedrich''s XTrain Series: Bi''s/Tri''s DVD

Cathe Friedrich''s XTrain Series: Bi''s/Tri''s DVDI''ve done this workout twice so far. It is a beast of a workout. I love the pacing of the workout. You work in Bi-Tri rounds, so one set of Bicep work, followed immediately by Tricep work. Then onto the next round, for a total of 9 rounds. I highly recommend (as does Cathe) that you record your weights. The first time I went too light (you should aim to lift heavy enough to complete 10-16 reps). The second time I went heavy and reached failure in a few of the exercise (and boy did I get hit by the DOMS-truck the next day!!)

As usual this workout is perfectly chaptered, with premixes galore, with a two 100-rep challenge (biceps and triceps, of course), and two Core workouts (both challenging.)

Do you want those arms to be ready for summer? This is the tank top workout for the Biceps and Triceps.

So far everything in the X-train series that I have done is fantastic!

Phoenix 99607 Mag Trac Upright Exercise Bike

Phoenix 99607 Mag Trac Upright Exercise BikeFirst I''d like to say how fast I received this bike! Amazon sent it FedEx and I received it 3 days from the date of my order. It was packaged well and got here fine. I only seen one review on this bike which was a 5 star. I usually look for more people who purchase an item but what I liked about this bike was the fact that the seat was adjustable 2 different ways and also the handle bars. So many of the reviews on other bikes talked about how the seat was too high on the lowest level for shorter people. I''m only 5''1", so this was a concern for me. This bike I can adjust to ride it comfortably! The seat is large and cushioned. I put it together by myself. My husband did removed it from the box for me as the base of it is quite heavy and I didn''t want to drop it. I would suggest having 2 people attach the handle bars. It was a little tricky trying to hold them in place while screwing on the front and back plate pieces, but I did do it after a few attempts. I''ve had this bike for only a week now but so far so good. I have it in my livingroom in front of the TV where I can ride it while watching TV daily. It is quiet and smooth riding. I like the monitor that tells you how long you''ve rode, calories burned, heart rate etc. It''s a great bike for the money. I highly reccomend it.

If any problems occur in the future, I''ll let you know. Hopefully not tho.

This bike came in as a gift from my daughter, the delivery is fast, the assembly is easy by following manual instruction; most of all, the bike is not just looking great, it is so quiet and sturdy. I just love it! This bike has now established me a routine workout habit, I watch TV and paddle the machine for 30 each day, with speed at my discretion. There are many measurement indexes to help me understand my body needs, build up my target heart rate, and motivate myself to meet my exercise tolerance. I would definitely recommend this bike to my friends!!

This bike is well built and sturdy, quiet and easy to put together. The

seat is comfortable and has lots of cushion. I am 5ft tall and I can reach

the pedals just right, if I were any shorter I would not be able to reach them.

When tightening the screws by the handle bars dont over tighten or the plastic will

crack.

I am pretty satisfied with this bike and think its a great deal for the price

and is not cheap and flimsy compared to other bikes of this price range.

One pedal makes a clicking noise as it goes around now but its no big deal and does not interfere with using it, just turn on the radio or TV and you wont notice.

I too had a few problems, when I first received mine. However when I called the company and spoke to Jeff who took on the responsibility of making everything wrong,to making everything right. He immediately sent me a new bike and paid the shipping as well and UPS picked it up. The first thing you need to know, is this company really cares, and have given lots of time to help straighten and resolve the issues I have had with this bike.

Issue 1 Tension didn''t work.. Issue corrected....new bike sent.

Issue 2 On board computer didn''t work properly. Problem corrected... New magnet sent.

Now that everything is working, this is my review.

This bike is Rock Solid, lots of heavy metal and very little plastic.

The bike is very smooth to pedal, and the variable 8 speeds should challenge most people for years to come.

This bike gives me total adjustment of both the seat, and the handlebar. The seat adjusts both in height , and in back to front so a person under 5 foot to a person over 6 feet tall will have no problem in this area. The handle bars are also fully adjustable as well which means you can lean as far forward as you choose as well as sitting straight up as well. By allowing you to do this, you work many areas of your body then any other bike even twice or more expensive then my PHEONEX.The seat by the was is very large, and very comfortable as well.Another feature is that it is DEAD QUIET with not a hint of noise and I love that you can change the gears without any difficulty. The on board computer has all the bells and whistles that I want and then some. Another feature of the on board computer is that you can program in your individual history re weight height age etc.

And to top it off, this bike looks great as well.

Over all the PHEONEX #99607 IS ONE HELL OF AN INVESTMENT,which in my opinion, has no competition.

The resistance control cable did not work in the bike I received. The factory installed end of the cable was not attached inside the bike body. The cable attachment seemed to be prone to coming undone. It was easier to disaseemble the bike body, attach the loose end of the cable inside the bike body and reassenbke the body than to ship the bike back.

Livestrong® LS10.0E Elliptical

Livestrong® LS10.0E EllipticalWhen I first got this several months ago, I was very happy with it, particularly with how quiet it was. I''ve used several brands of ellipticals and treadmills before, and this was the quietest of them all. I should also note that the difficulty range is higher than most others. With my old Diamondback or the Precor at work, I''m at least 80% up the difficulty scale; with this I''m at something more like 30%, which probably means even the very lowest difficulty wouldn''t work for other family members.

I quickly started to notice problems. First the bolt where the arm connects to the pedal just kept coming loose, so I had to become an expert at tightening it. Rust started appearing on the tracks, and I actually am careful about wiping the machine down so there''s no excuse for that (never had that problem with another machine). Then it started becoming noisier and noisier. At this point it''s barely tolerable even when I''m wearing earphones turned up fairly loud It sounds like the flywheel is wobbly, which probably isn''t fatal, but opening the case is practically impossible without special equipment and knowledge of where the internal catches etc. are so I can''t be sure. Now I''m trying to find someone local to service it, and that''s turning out to be a pain too.

Before I bought this I did some pretty exhaustive research, especially vs. Sole and Smooth which have nearly identical models at nearly identical price points (probably not a coincidence). This machine works, but if I didn''t already own it I''d definitely buy one of the others at this point. If you do buy one, get an extended service contract and/or plan ahead for when it needs that service. It will, within a year.

Got It 2 weeks after I ordered it, only took me about an hour to assemble. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and am very satisfied have had no problems at all. Would absolutely recommend this elliptical to any one. I am a big guy (FAT) I weigh 275 or at least did 3 weeks ago and it supports my weight just fine. my wife spends 30-40 min on it every day and she loves it as well. no squeaks, or other noises everything runs smooth,(I did add grease when I assembled the unit to the moving components and shafts.) I also enjoy the online tracking thru livestrong.com all in all i have no complaints at this time.

I received the elliptical within 10 days. It was delivered by a straight truck to my garage. The box was in perfect condition. I unpacked it in the garage and carried it piece by piece to my bedroom. I am a 53 year old woman, so my son had to carry the flywheel upstairs for me, since it was so heavy. I was gonna get him to put it together for me, but he couldn''t do it for a few days because of work. So I decided to start on it by myself. I put the whole thing together all by myself! It was pretty easy. The directions were clear and everything needed was included. I love this elliptical! It is fun and a great workout! I''m very happy with my purchase!

I spent some time looking for a good ellipse machine and i was frustrated that all the good reliable ellipse were over 2000, until i found this machine.

The machine came really fast, within the week i had it, bouth it monday was home by friday (maybe due to location) .

Setting it up was a breeze, all tools included, 10 step process and you are up and running. It comes with a lot of grease so don''t bother putting wd40 or anything, just scrape the grease from the bags and you should be good to go.

I started this machine with 285Lbs. No sounds, no problems. After 1 month of using it every day im down to 260 using the weight loss setting. no sounds no issues. The 23Lbs flybar makes a huge difference compared the the previous 15 and 20lbs.

Overall a GREAT product, i would definetly recomend it, the ergonomics are fantastic, not like the beat up machines in the gym.

Bought the machine about a year and a half ago. Was not sure to Purchase the LS10 or Sole 25 or 35. Salesaman tried to push us towqard the Sole machine. Used the machine for about 2 months and then stopped due to skin tag getting sore. Lost interest in the machine for about a year but the livestrong was already making noise at this point. Just started using the machine again now for 2 months. As time goes on it makes more noise. First just a squeaking (seems to be from the back end) Now as the elliptical goes through the different resistance levels, after it hits 4 for the second time (about half way in)in the 30 minute cycle (weight loss) you hear a persistant thud which is inside the machine. I suspect the electronic braking. I took the covers off, not easy, I have a impact tools and compressor which made the job easier. Any repairs made under the covers require some know how. Since I waited over a year the service part of the warranty is over, however parts are still covered for another 2 years. I will replace the parts that has sent us. The machine is a solid machine and I love using it, if the machine had no noises it would be a solid 5 stars. When you pay a $1000 for a machine it should work perfectly out of the box with no noise. Currently if I had to buy this machine all over again, I would not. Can''t say that the Sole would have been any better, but they make their own equipment and the sales person swore by them. The livestong is made by Horizon which I was told by the sales person, uses parts from different manufacturers. I choose the livestrong because to me it had a better position which was more uprights versus the Sole and other models which seemed to be slightly tilted forward. I have a TV with a sound bar and when the sound is turned up I the squeaks are harder to hear, but the thud has me worried that something may come off while in use and damage the machine. I will try to fix it myself if not hire someone to fix it for me.
