Overall this was a great product that met the needs of my 12 year old son. He is a beginner at wrestling and I was very surprised at the speed of the shipping. Received the following day from ordering it.
My 9 yr old son is a wrestler, so I got this head gear for him last season. It fits OK, but it''s a little difficult to adjust once it''s on. Sometimes adjustments are needed after he is all geared up, so it was a pain to have to remove it before any fixing could be done. It worked last season, but we bought him a new one for this year.

These do what they are supposed to do but they look really goofy on, especially the blue. I would go ahead and spend a few more bucks to get the hard plastic ones. I ended up buying a new pair for my son after his first wrestling practice once I saw what all the other kids used. We were new to wrestling so I really didn''t know what was what. However they were sturdy and comfortable for a 7 year old.
