I''ll say this for these bellsthey did get me started. Not a good design, thoughthe concrete core grinds down with use, and then you have shifting weight inside the bell along with a lot of distracting noise, and then the sand starts seeping out of the seams. There is a warning on the package not to drop the bells. I never dropped this bell, and still it started wearing out within a few weeks of daily use. Also, they are really big for their weight, so they encourage bad technique. Save yourself some trouble and get a kettlebell with an iron core.

The Tone Fitness kettlebell broke while swinging it (the swing is a basic kettlebell exercise). I contacted the company Tone Fitness (Cap Barbell) and they did not care. They dismissed my phone calls and emails and said it was past the 30 days of purchase. They don''t care about their customers or safety of the products.

A great company to buy exercise equipment from is Perform Better. They sell quality equipment and care about their customers.

These are not real kettlebells and will NOT give you any idea of what kbell training is about. I went through many types of "economical" kbells, and the old adage is true: you get what you pay for. These plastic-and-concrete pieces of nonsense will not give you the results you''re looking for.

These fake imitations are about like buying a Fisher-Price plastic kiddie car you push with your feet as the "economical alternative" to buying a Porsche. Not the same results.

These are a wonderful set of kettle bells especially since they are priced so well. No complaints! Even my dog has taken to toting the 5lb around.

I wouldn''t recomend these. Tried using them during a workshop. Very slippery handle. They didn''t feel weighted like "real" kettlebells.
