I just started running a few months ago and am the heavier side so chafing was becoming a problem with my 4 pairs of regular running short with meshing. Also the shorts with meshing made it difficult to stretch without the short falling down and exposure issues so I now exclusively use my one pair of New balance 2 in 1 shorts are my go to shorts. I don''t use the other ones currently (maybe once I lose more weight and don''t get chafing then I''ll go back to the other shorts). I actually came to the website to buy more of these so I didn''t have to wash multiple times a week. I like to have 4 pairs of running gear so I only have to do laundry once a week (I typically run 3 times a week and get a chance to get a fourth run rarely)

These are ideal running/athletic shorts, in that they look like regular running shorts but have compression shorts built in. the little pocket is slick. The length is about right not down to the knees but not richard simmons short shorts either. I came on here to order another pair but they are sold out in my size BUMMER.

These shorts are marvelous. I love the outer material, which dries fast. The inner compression shorts help to support and keep your thigh muscles warmed up. The shorts are lightweight and the drawstring in easy to use.

Like some runners, I don''t like wearing too short of shorts and it seemed all shorts had a riding problem until I found these. The inner boxer brief style liner on these is great for support and comfort, and the material of the short itself is very light and breathable. The only Issue I''ve had is that there are two stiched seems on the liner that started fraying after only 100-120 miles of use... for $40+ shorts I was hoping to get a solid year out of them. This only happened on one of the two pairs I bought, the other pair is still working great after six months.

Extras: There is a zip pocket in the back that''s good for tossing the ipod or id or keys in. It''s a little tricky to access for Gu, though.

I have been looking all over the internet for running shorts that have full compression shorts inside and not just the little mesh briefs, which my husbands hates! Found these, and he loved them! Not too short, wash well, and a great price!! Highly recommend!
