Tony Horton''s PowerStands

Tony Horton''s PowerStandsThe product in the picture shows the original "metal" stands that sold for $52.00 (How much I paid). The actual product shipped are plastic smaller versions selling on Beachbody for $34.95 $39.95.

When I called Amazon, they advised me to return it. Poor update by Beachbody. If anyone has paid over $39.00 I would suggest demanding a return. All of Beachbody''s literature and e-commerce pictures are depicting the old metal stands, yet they are selling the mickey mouse plastic ones.

I love the Beachbody system and products, but this really is a stinker. BAD NEWS!

Attention Beachbody e-Commerce Marketing: Fix your materials...or bring back the product that you are advertising.

These are now the new PLASTIC Beachbody stands with Tony Horton''s signature. They do not have as much height or angle as the ones shown in the picture, nor are they made of metal. DO NOT BUY!

Not as advertised, plastic, short, kind of useless for the P90X Plus workouts. They are not bad push up stands for $10-$20 but $53 is completely ridiculous. I was expecting to get the large metal ones that are shown. I thought I might get lucky even after reading the few reviews that were posted and unfortunately I wasn''t. Don''t waste your time like I did, they are going right back. Beachbody looses a lot of credibility with me for their false advertising, not just here but even on their own website.

Don''t listen to the reviews of customers who hate this product because it''s not the original metal stands. These are better!! They are not made of cheap plastic! The plastic is very heavy duty! They are stable and strong even before bolting the handles to the base (and they are bolted metal to metal). The handles are big and thick (bigger than the metal ones!) which allow you to build a strong grip. The edges are rounded instead of thin and dangerous in case of dropping on you or someone else (like the metal ones!). The base is large and makes it impossible to tip over like other stands on the market and has a rubber nonslip sole on each base unlike the metal ones! The handles are a little bit shorter than the metal ones, but you wont/don''t need the little bit of extra height. They are ergonomically designed to make the push-ups easier on the wrist and hit the muscle groups in such a way to get the best out of each push-up. Don''t listen to those unappreciative reviews. Do yourself a favor and get a pair. These are the best push-up bars ever put on the market.

I read the reviews of others and most had nothing good to say about these powerstands. They assume because they are plastic and no longer metal; the equipment isn''t up to the task.

To me that sounds like someone who never handled the redesigned powerstands. These are solid with some heft to them and are perfect to complement the P90X routine.

If your on the verge of buying these don''t let the negative reviews Influence your decision.
