Body Solid Barbell and Dumbbell Flat Weight Bench GFB350

I have been using this bench for a while now along with the PowerLine PPR200X Power Rack.

Heavy duty construction, solid as a rock.

No wobble, even when used for dips.

The extra thick padding is amazing.

I''ll never again use one of those wobbly adjustable benches.

Take your time putting it together, don''t over-tighten the bolts,

and this will easily become your favorite bench.

PS, I am 6'' 3/8" and I imagine the bench would be roomy enough for someone 6''6" or more.

Couldn''t ask for more out of a bench really.

It''s sturdy and does it''s job well. Which is to be sturdy, and not collapse under load. So far so good.

The only thing I experienced was receiving incorrect bolts. BodySolid however was able to rectify the situation. The only problem was they made me measure the damn incorrect bolts and it took two weeks to finally get the new (correct) bolts sent.

Still, not worth taking a star off the bench. I wasn''t in that huge of a rush for it, or I may have to reconsider a star or two. Alas, I am satisfied with this bench and have no desire to deter anyone from purchasing.

This is a relatively new piece of equipment in my home gym but I have used it a couple times already and am very impressed. The bench is pretty much built like a rock. No matter what exercise I do on the bench it will not wobble at all. Even when doing triceps dips and such. One thing I didn''t do was install the wheels. They send two wheels to attach to the back of the bench for easy mobility I''m guessing but anything I''m going to trust with my weight plus with weight that can easily harm/kill me I did not find any purpose to making easily slid able. I''m sure its very safe and will not move when your on the bench but I personally don''t want to take the risk.

Now anyone else who has purchased from Body Solid before know that there instruction manuals are just a joke. Its a piece of paper showing the parts with dotted lines leading to where they go. This bench is so easily put together with such few parts though that this is not a problem at all. I think it took me around 30 minutes to assemble compared to the 2-3 hours it took for my other 3 pieces of equipment I have off them.

Bottom line is I love the bench and am very happy to have it in my collection. First 5 star review I have given. I also always feel secure when I buy off Body Solid since you will always have a lifetime warranty as long as you fill out the warranty form and send it back within ten days of arrival.

This bench is solid, heavy (and that is a good thing), and built to last. It''s not simple to assemble, as there are a few points at which you''ll have to check that the supports and bench are level for the surface on which you''ll be using it. But once it''s together, it feels indestructible. As the sticker on the frame says, this bench is "designed in America, VERY WELL MADE in China". Believe it. This bench will outlive you.

Solid and well made. I would have prefered if the bench were an inch lower though.
