This heart rate monitor is great. Easy to use, just put it on and it will start giving you your rate in an accurate way. It is really good for working out, as you can set your max and min, and it will beep when you are out of it. Screen is easy to read and the functions and data can be set easily also. Its light helps a lot... is cute, at the beginning I though it was for men, but looks great in a woman. Get it! :)

Works really well, but can be a bit hard to understand when it comes to changing settings. I had a very hard time getting the calorie counter to work. A big plus is that it does connect to most gym cardio equipment that has a heart rate monitor built in...so you can get your heart rate without holding the grips.

I read one review talking about how the metal clip broke.. From the design of the watch I see no way it could break.. It may have popped off but Im sure it can be popped back in if that was the case.. The watch overall is very simple to use.. Please dont expect it to be as simple as a cheapo watch from walmart.. this thing does A LOT and like any watch only has 4 buttons... The book was very helpful!! it seems to be accurate.. I tested it while using it with EA Active and both where giving the same results... I don''t know if EA Active is accurate or not BUT with both giving the same results I was very happy..

Picked up one of these and was initially please after powering it up and putting on the strap...until I tried to put on the watch. It cinches closed with a metal plate that has two pegs on it, and while I was trying to see which setting (how tight) to cinch it, first one metal peg pulled off and then the second peg pulled off. Was the plate on the watch I got defective? I don''t know, but I can''t see the plate performing its duties without breaking for any one. I did not put any unusual pressure on it, and I have excellent finger dexterity (i.e. am not a hamfisted gorilla).

Poor marks, but since watches are often interchangeable I''m not too upset based on the price and that I can get a replacement watch that won''t break, and that will still probably work with the strap.
