Overall though it is not a bad gym. For the price (Under $150), and if you get free shipping, it is well worth the money. Just expect to use your own tools and a hammer when putting it together.I read all the reviews for many products before I bought this one as I find them very helpful. This is a great piece of equipment for me. I can see though if you are a large person that it may be to tight for you. I am 5-10 155 and have plenty of room to use it. As far as assembly, i did have to use a rubber hammer to get one of the top handles in as one other writter indicated they had to as well. Two suggestions not in these reviews, the grips for the bars came already on the dip handles but not on the chin bar. I made the mistake of putting the grips on the chin bar before I put the chin bar on the tower assembly, huge mistake they must go on after the chin bar is on the tower assembly as it will not fit through the holes with the grips on. Second, I received two screws that were to short by jsut a little, I recognized this as I counted the parts before assembly and had two odd screws and was two short of one type. I could have easily gone to Home Depot and purchased two for pennies but was able to find a place in assembly to use them by excluding the washers I was able to make them fit. Overall I am very pleased with my piece of equipment.

The assembled stand is actually a fairly decent product for the price. You''re getting something that is sturdy and compact enough that it doesn''t take up too much space. You can put it in a corner, or against a wall and not worry about it taking up an entire room. The problem is with the assembly. The instructions that come with it are next to useless, and the way the hardware is just tossed in to a bag together with no labeling can create a problem if you''re not used to putting things like this together.
Overall, I would recommend this to someone that is looking for a decent and cheap stand, if you don''t mind the headache of actually putting it together.I received the Power Stand in less than a week! The quality was better than I expected. It fits well in my exercise room and I am glad I added this piece. Assembly (for someone like me with too many thumbs) went well. Lay out the parts and you should have no problem following the instructions with a ratchet and a wrench. I made two mistakes with bolt size use, but they were easily corrected, and I put the pull up bars in wrong, but corrected that (with the use of a rubber mallet to get them off). Bottom line: this tower is very usefull, well made, compact in size, fairly easy to assemble, and a good value ($123 delivered).Phoenix 99403 Power Stand III assembled it last night. Overall it appears to be a good value compared to the other powerstands. I like the fact that it is tall enough for me, fits against a wall or in a corner, and is affordable. The only problem was that it was tougher than expected to put together. I am glad I bought it.
