I regularly ride outdoors and had considered getting an indoor trainer in the past, but when I went to a big box sports store in the past and tried a few brands out they seemed really jerky and awkward, so I sort of shelved my desire for one and kept shlepping back and forth to the gym. Recently I got this product on loan and when I have to give it back (unhappily), I will definitely buy one of my own.

Straight out of the box it is very easy to set up and get going immediately, as someone who has never set up a trainer before I was on my bike doing my thing within 10 minutes. The unit feels very sturdy and really held my bike steady but with a gentle set up.

Moving on to the ride: incredibly smooth! Nothing like the jerky experiences I had in store! smooth and no variation in resistance through my full pedal stroke, good variation of resistance through my gear range. I originally planned to use this on only the occasional rainy days here in California, but I have been popping onto it more than I expected. My significant other has also taken to it and we''ve been switching off while we watch movies instead of sitting on our butts, I almost wish we had two.

Overall it''s a great product and I can''t really find any faults, strongly recommended!

What a great trainer! We have used many large stationary bikes through the years. Most were very large and bulky with big flywheels, but were usually not the same feel as actually riding your bike. My husband commutes to work on his bike and after using this Fluid Pro trainer for 30 minutes, he bought a second one to use at our cabin during the winter months. He had never liked trainers before because of the "jerky" motion. This one is very smooth and lifelike. We both agree that this trainer has the feel of actually riding a bike. We now own two of them.

I have been racing triathlon for 10+ years and 4 years at the profesional level. Over the years I have logged a significant amount of time on trainers and the Cascade Fluid Pro Trainer has the best feel of all. I use my trainer for very specific intensity workouts and the trainer provides a very real feel. The other benefit is the stability of the trainer base. Standing, sprinting or accelerating all feel great! I highly recommend this trainer to anyone that wants the real road feel indoors.

I coupled my Cannondale road bike with a Wahoo Speed and Cadence sensor, Bikemate slimcase for the iPhone, a Polar H7 heart monitor, and this Cascade Fluid Pro Trainer for the most complete cardio equipment set you could ask for -all bought on Amazon. Add the iBiker app of the iPhone to collect the data. This trainer is superb. It really does feel like riding on the road, and is very stable. You can find spinning videos on YouTube to add your workout, or just watch whatever. I have been very pleasantly surprised by this piece of equipment and would highly recommend it.

The Cascade Fluid Pro is really nice. The one aspect that makes it better than a lot of other trainers is its fluidity. The back roller is extremely quiet, which means no more of that "whining" noise when you train indoors. The two orange legs on the front pop back, and the back roller moves forward, which allows for compact travel of the trainer! I really enjoy using the trainer; it''s very sturdy.
