When on earth are Motorola actually going to fix the TERRIBLE web site they call it "the Portal".

It is buggy at best and every time they "fix" one thing it breaks two existing things.

At the moment, no route maps have been shown for over a month. Nothing has been done and the numerous complaints on the forums and on facebook and direct to Customer Service have all been ignored or fobbed off.

The thing with the MotoActv is that you''re stuck with the terrible "portal" because you can''t get at YOUR data unless you first upload it to their portal.

Then it''s possible to export a very limited, and often faulty, amount of data as a .csv file. No intervals, laps etc..

So.. Matt, as you seem to have deserted the forums.. are you prepared to answer in here? What''s going on? Why the big price drop? Why is the forum being ignored? Why all the problems on the "portal"????

Buy Motorola MOTOACTV 8GB GPS Sports Watch and MP3 Player Now

I purchased the 8GB version of this product from Amazon in December 2011. I consider myself an early adopter. In the beginning, Motorola was very proactive at helping with problems on the device. Specifically, the major problems I have deal with the web portal...the device itself has had some minor quirks but nothing that is a show stopper. I helped Motorola troubleshoot problems with the website up until mid-January. After that, everything worked relatively nicely until early July 2012...about 6 months of the device doing what it was supposed to do. I have not been able to view any of my workouts (even the old ones) since mid-July. I reported this problem to Motorola tech support...they created a ticket and then unilaterally cancelled it. They sent me an e-mail saying the problem was solved when in fact the problem was not solved. I have posted on the Motorola forums. It took weeks to get a Motorola employee to respond to the complaints regarding this issue (I am not alone with it). They still have not proposed a fix. Anytime I do a workout with music (the primary reason I bought this device was so I could have the MP3 player and GPS in one device) I get a message that the website is "unable to process the request". I listen to music during the vast majority of my workouts. The fact that Motorola has cut the price of the device by nearly 50% does not give me confidence that they will continue to support it...it actually makes me think that they are dumping it. The Motorola website is the ONLY way to get your data out of this device. There is no option of directly retrieving your workout data via USB to your computer. Right now, the only thing the device is useful for is playing music (with less functionality than my ipod) and telling me how far I have run. I cannot use the data the device is collecting to assist me with increasing my fitness level and tailoring my workouts. I''m really not sure why Motorola won''t fix the website...they are not providing answers either through tech support or via their forums. The failure of Motorola to launch the wireless headphones/heartrate sensor that they were promising when I originally purchased this device was a huge disappointment, but the inability to get my workout data is a showstopper. If I could return this device to Amazon at this point, I would. Do not purchase this if you want to view your workout data.

I''ve had a MOTOACTV for almost 3 months now, and I''m happier with it than I ever expected to be. I had arthroscopic knee surgery 4 months ago, and my surgeon recommended bicycling as therapy for my knee. When I was clear to start riding, I bought a new bike and a MOTOACTV with Motorola''s heart rate sensor, bike speed/cadence sensor, and bike mount.

I''ve racked up 650 miles since then, and lost around 25 lbs. Part of that is because I really, *really* want to lose weight and get my knee back into shape, but the MOTOACTV has been a huge help. I''m able to track distance and speed for each ride and see my progress, and I''m the sort of person that this sort of thing really motivates. I''m now cycling daily and getting in around 100 miles per week, and feel like cycling and exercise is a comfortable new part of my life. I''ve went from almost completely sedentary to reasonably fit (if still overweight), and I feel like it''s a permanent change, not just a hobby that I''m going to drop when circumstances make me miss a few days.

There are a number of similar devices on the market from Garmin and other manufacturers, as well as phone apps+dongles that can accomplish most of the same things, but for my uses, the MOTOACTV has the best mix of features of anything on the market. Specifically:

The battery lasts for 6-8 hours of active use, or around 2 days of use as a pedometer. Most fitness phone apps that I''ve seen will kill phones in way less time.

It syncs over WiFi, so I don''t have to drag it back to a computer to sync. If I''m not in a hurry to look at results, then I can just wait and it''ll sync on its own every few hours. If I want to look at the results, then ''sync now'' is only a couple button presses away.

It charges over microUSB, so I don''t need to bring Yet Another Charger when I''m traveling.

It''s flexible about how you wear it. You can put it on the big, chunky watch band, or clip it to your belt, or put it on the bike mount, or even shove it in a pocket. I''ve done all of those at different times.

The combination of these mean that the MOTOACTIV has the least *friction* of any fitness device that I''ve used. It Just Works--I don''t have to worry about charging it, or conserving power, or syncing it, or anything. I just plug it into my phone charger every now and then, and it''s good.

Now, it''s not perfect. It''s Motorola''s first attempt at a fitness device, and there are a few weird issues with it. It''s not as waterproof as it should be, the battery doesn''t last long enough for an all-day bike ride, syncing is kinda slow (it syncs ~30 minutes of data per minute, so a 2 hour ride is going to take several minutes to sync). The UI is a bit odd sometimes. The screen can only show duration + distance + 4 other variables at a time while biking, so I can''t show speed, elevation, cadence, time-of-day, calories burned, and heart rate all at once. It''ll sync with Android phones natively, but not iPhones. But, all in all, I''m really happy with it. Motorola has kept pushing out substantial software updates about once per month, and each one adds a feature or two and fixes a bunch of known bugs.

I''m happy enough with it that I''m tempted to buy a second one and keep it as a reserve--if I ever lose or break the first one, then I won''t miss a day or two''s worth of exercise data. I''ve lost a couple fitbits over the past two years, and it''s been really demoralizing, even if I find them eventually.

I rarely write reviews but I think that this unit gets a lot of unfair criticism. I''ve owned the unit for 4 months now and have been quite pleased. First and foremost the support for this is excellent. Despite what other people may be writing there have been 3 firmware updates in the four months and each update has brought notable improvements and added new features. The website has also undergone several improvements as well during that time. Eventually, I think this will evolve into a awesome device. That being said its not perfect. As a background I''m a casual runner (5mi runs) and play a fair amount of golf as well as volleyball, cycling etc

Pro

1. Constant firmware updates and continued support. This can''t be understated. 1mo or so firmware cycles are pretty swift for a general consumer device.

2. Excellent golf GPS. The watch updates every 3 seconds. You need to stand over your ball for 3 seconds to get an accurate distance but as long as you do that you are accurate to within a yard or 2. You get distance to hazards which the lower end garmins etc do not give you. You also get the ability to track your game. From average distance for each club to fairways and green hit to number of putts. You can really break down your game and distance (provided you enter the information when you play). There are something like 20,000 courses and it has all the myrtle beach courses I''ve played

3. Bluetooth capability Once you''ve worked out without the wires you can never go back. You can also get text and phone notifications but I found them annoying

4. Excellent workout tracking and GPSThe device gets quick GPS lock (usually about 15-30 sec for me) and doesn''t lose the lock in my area. I have been in a couple of heavily forested areas and did lose signal there. Planned routes work fine. Note to the earlier reviewer if you select the "follow roads option" it will follow on the roads otherwise it assumes you are doing a cross country route and will just connect your waypoints.

5. World maps. Took a jog in Italy and the streets are all there. Its also great for tracking your travels. I went to Europe recently and all my travels were mapped out on the portal. How many times did I go around the coliseum. Looks like 3. You can annotate your workouts so its like a personal travel journal.

6. Rapid charging. It takes around an hour to fully charge.

7. MP3 player. Nice little music player that holds 16GB of music. Good for trips and workouts. Has playlists and will display album art. If you could make you own playlists on the device it would be perfect as it is you need to sync up with itunes

8. Lots of info especially for the casual athlete. I got the heart rate monitor and I really like being able to put myself in various zones for interval training or endurance. It will give you verbal coaching (basically a voice over the headphones saying you are going too slow or too fast) so you don''t need to keep looking at the watch.

+/-

1. Battery lifeI personally have used it marathon mode all day to track my vacations and can easily play a round of golf (I usually have 60% battery after a 4-5hour round). That being said if you are doing ten hour rides or a full iron man it may not last which is unacceptable in the middle of training/race since you can''t charge it (it does charge fast). If you are en elite endurance athlete or ultra marathoner this is probably not for you. I wear as a watch all day to count my steps/cal and it can go 2 days without charging but not much more

2. LooksI don''t care much for the bulky look but I do get a lot of comments about it and people are always wondering what it does

3. Sweat/rainproof but not waterproofIt would be nice to be able to swim with this watch especially as they have waterproof HR monitors

Cons

1. Web portalmotoactv only syncs with the web portal. You can get the raw data and send it someplace else from there but you can''t skip the portal. The portal is also very slow, particularly if your using an ipad. This can be frustrating especially when you want to go back to a more remote round of golf or workout. This is a big con since you need to do everything through the portal. I''m not micro analyzing my workouts but if I was this would probably be a deal breaker. Its that slow.

2. Can''t view data when paused This is a frequent complaint on the forums and I can''t figure out why they haven''t addressed this. Not being able to check your pace etc when paused makes planning very difficult

I have to strongly recommend against the MotoACTV for any real runners out there.

Personally I really like the device, except for one very fatal flaw:

from

"What type of damages are not covered by my warranty?

Damage and/or performance issues that result from contact with any liquid, water, rain or extreme humidity are excluded from warranty coverage.

Motorola will not repair or replace liquid-damaged products. They will be returned unrepaired."

I''ve had great battery life, run 17 miles with it, kept the screen on the whole time (running in predawn hours it''s fantastic not having to find a light button) and had over 40% battery when done. The GPS quality is very good, usually less than 30 seconds or so to locking. I don''t use the MotoACTV website, as I have a script that automatically grabs the data and converts it ready to post to runkeeper (or any other decent site) and I''m working on a way to automate that completely.

But...

During my first 12 mile run with the MotoACTV my "music" button got stuck on, and I couldn''t navigate away from the music menu. Ok, I disabled the music button. Next run Volume UP got stuck. Disabled that. Then the "back" button on the screen became flaky. Sent it in for repairs, got it back a little more than a week later. First run with it (15 miles) was fantastic. Next run my HR strap quit connecting. Next run same. Next run (17 miles) the "back" button on the screen kept getting triggered, and it self-navigate back to the main watch page. I couldn''t tap the screen fast enough to get the workout page back up fast enough to see how far I''d run. Very frustrating. Of course the "workout" button had stopped working so I couldn''t just press it to get back, and there was no way to stop the workout in the end except turn off the MotoACTV.

So I have now disabled volume up, music, and mapped volume down to workout, and it is still totally unusable after a few miles.

I''m sure all of this is because I have the audacity to sweat while I''m working out.

So Friday my Garmin 910 is arriving and my MotoACTV will be a very cute little paper weight.

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt

All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise BeltI''ve never used a weight belt before but I have used several weight vests before and this one has been better than both both in construction quality and comfort.

The fabric type and padding are similar to most other vests and belts like it, the big difference with this belt versus those other ones is the quality of the stitching. The stitching is not only higher quality its done with a heavier thread. Out of the box there were no straggling threads or anything, it looked clean and neat like you normally see on higher end belts and vests. Its also stayed that way after several weeks use which is a good sign in my experience, usually the crappier stuff starts to stretch and come loose in that time frame. The 2 cheap vests I''ve bought before fell apart in less than a year and I never put more than 10 lbs in them.

The other thing that really stood out to me is quality of the velcro and the nylon loops. You can tell just by picking up the belt and putting it on that it won''t be falling apart any time soon. There is absolutely no give or stretching once the belt is on. It stays put when I run and I usually run for around an hour to 40 minutes. It also stays comfortable unlike the vests I''ve used. Those vests would usually start to hurt my back after a while but with the belt that isn''t an issue at all.

The weights themselves are coating with vynil or powder coating, which is good. The cheaper vests and belts tend to just paint them, which wears off fast and due to sweat they become encrusted with rust within a few months or weeks.

FYI the "reflective strip" is the only thing about this product is a joke. It has almost no visibility at all since it tends to fold up on you when running and doesn''t really offer much in the way of reflectivity even when not rolled up.

So far I only have around 6 lbs of weight in the belt so far, started with 3 lbs, and it is plenty for a long walk or run! Always start slow when using weight vests or belts, you''d be surprised how much a little extra weight will whoop your butt in the beginning. But keep at it and it gets easier fast.

Besides the strip the only other thing I''d change about the belt is the price. IMO it should''ve been $10-15 cheaper, there just isn''t much to it at all. Otherwise its a solid belt.

I got this to wear while doing yoga, so I could build muscle and flexibility simultaneously. So far, it works great. I love that I can slowly add more weight as my strength increases. The weights are easy to add and remove. The velcro fastener is secure and has plenty of leeway: I have a 32 inch waist and there''s close to 2 feet of extra velcro for the closure. Once I fasten it, it doesn''t slide around much, even when I''m in downward-dog position. The inside is lightly padded so it doesn''t feel clunky or rough against the skin.

Buy All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt Now

I bought this weight belt to add to my 40 lb weight vest I currently use to train with. It fits well, is adjustable (both for width and weight) and all around well made.

The belt sits well around the waist and doesn''t drag down as I thought it would, which was a good surprise. The added resistance puts my total weight up to 50 pounds which is perfect for the type of exercises I do.

Just a quick word of caution, consult your trainer or a knowledgable friend before adding weight vests and belts to your workout. I''ve known a couple people who started out with far too much weight and it did cause some discomfort sometimes can cause injury. So please be careful in that regard.

I work out almost every morning with the Leslie Sansone walk aerobic programs. I don''t like exercising for more than 45 minutes, and I wanted to boost my workouts with a weighted belt so I''d get more bang for my buck--instead of choosing one-hour videos. I tried a two-pounder, which was too light to be effective, and I then tried a five-pounder, which was pretty good, but not challenging enough. The ten-pound belt is perfect for me. I''m a senior citizen who weighs around 117 pounds, and ten pounds added to my waist while exercising makes a big difference--because it''s quite a relief when you remove it after the workout is over, so you know its heft has enhanced that workout.

The belt is well made and can be modified very easily if you want to decrease/increase the poundage. The area of the belt that touches your body is smooth nylon and very well quilted for comfort, and the Velcro closure is strong and reliable. Now the hardest part of my exercise regimen is lifting the belt from its shelf and holding it in the right position as I wrap it around my body. I have arthritis and I''m not as agile as I used to be, but I''ve figured out the right maneuvers to deal with the problem.

At first I thought the price was a bit steep, but the belt has proved to be worth every penny!

Want All Pro Weight Adjustable Power Stride 10 Lb. Exercise Belt Discount?

My reason for purchasing this was different from those of other reviewers: I have bone density problems, despite the fact that I get regular exercise and consider myself to be pretty strong. My hip is the worst spot, so my doctor told me to buy a weight belt and walk with it, gradually increasing the weight I carry. All Sports Authority had was a weight vest, which would have been unwearable for at least half of the year here in Arizona. I found this belt on Amazon and it has been perfect. It''s padded enough that I forget I have it on when I walk the dogs in the morning. The weights are small enough that you have a lot of control over the difference you feel when you increase the load. It''s sturdy and well-constructed. Unlike other reviewers I don''t think it was over-priced, although I have to admit that when I bought mine less than two weeks ago it was $20 cheaper than the price it''s listed at now. It''s good not just for walking but for wearing while doing house chores or anything else that would lend itself to simultaneous weight-bearing exercise. I''m happy with it, and hope to see results.

John Calipari: MVP Training: Basic Point Guard Skills & Drills with Derrick Rose (DVD)

John Calipari: MVP Training: Basic Point Guard Skills & Drills with Derrick RoseHey, this isn''t one of those Ganon Baker videos, where you stop, start, slow, start and pause in order to digest every detail. This is more like a conversation with a buddy, where the gems are forthcoming in desultory fashion. But make no mistake about it, Calipari is teaching---and teaching well. This is one of those instructional pieces that fits as a complement to the Baker type videos. I think each is made more valuable because of the other.

For me the highlights were Rod Strickland and D. Rose demonstrating. I have always wanted, and still do, to attend a Steve Nash, Kobe, D. Rose, etc. deliberate practice, where they work on a new move and its counter moves, to see the concentration, reps, and feedback systems employed. That''s what youth hoopsters need to know, it is not just hard work, but smart work also.

It was very interesting to see the stoic aspect of a D. Rose, after missing a few shots on film. He immediately goes to self-correct mode, nailing the next 4 or 5 in a row.

This video is well worth the price, but if you have watched a few Ganon Bakers prior to studying this one, it is even more of a value.

I personally, at first, didn''t want to buy this product because I thought that it would be overly hyped because Derrick Rose was on the cover. I went against my instincts though and bought it. That was possibly the best decision I''ve ever made in my life. Coach Calipari truly teaches points that truly make a difference on the basketball court. This DVD is a must have for any basketball player that wants to become better.

When I contacted the seller he asked exactly what length I wanted, within a week I had received a replacement pair of shorts made exactly to my specifications. This was TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only that, but the shorts themselves are great too and exactly what I was looking for. When I am ready to purchase another pair it will definitely be from this company.

I would have to say that for only $40 you get the perfect length, stretch and look! I have bought two pairs!!

Bali Capri

(5022-BK-X) Fitted yoga caprisThese capris are light and comfortable, so they''re good for yoga even when you''re sweating a lot. I wish they were just a little shorter (they come to mid-calf), but otherwise I''m satisfied.

My legs are on the skinny side and I have trouble finding capri pants with leg openings that are not overly wide. Until now I only wore tight legged capri''s. I took a chance on these, and they fit great! They are very comfortable with just the right amount of snugness. I am a size 4 in pants/jeans and the S fits perfectly. I wear them for yoga, running, boot camp, and everything else.

Manduka Black Mat Pro Yoga Package, Graphite, 85 Inch Mat

Manduka Black Mat Pro Yoga Package, Graphite, 85 Inch MatSo, i''m new to Yoga and wanted a quality mat. I weight in at 325lbs and stand over 6''3 (football player build) so I was looking for something with good knee support. I bought the Eco mat and this one, promptly returned the Eco mat. I am a serious consumer and research every purchase to the point of silliness.. I did experience the slipping when I first started, then my instructor suggested to scrub off the shipping film ( much like manduka recommends) No more slipping.... Support of the is mat is really awesome (knees feel great in child pose or other knee intensive poses), grip is great ( I practice with a towel since i''m a sweaty one), and the length is just right. Not sure why people dislike the bagThere are 2 compartments, maybe they are trying to stuff the mat in the wet clothes side...? AnywaysI love the bag, works great, fits my large shoulders... I usually go for coffee and the market after practice, carry this mat and bag the entire timeSince im a dude and sort of stacked, I dont even notice the weight..... Any questions? Also remember to roll it up with the floor side to the inside of the rollThat way when you unroll it, it will not curl at the ends.... Also if you care about statusI dont know what the hell i''m doing at yoga, but people do notice and comment on my awesome matWhere did you get it? they say...... :)

Padding: 5 stars. The mat is thick and provides an excellent amount of cushioning. You should never need to fold it.

Traction: 1 star. The mat provides excellent traction... until you start to sweat. I''ve read elsewhere that this is supposed to improve as the mat is broken in, but how long is that supposed to take? I''ve tried accelerating the break-in through washing and scrubbing (as recommended in the included instructions), but I haven''t observed even the slightest improvement in traction while wet over the weeks that I''ve been using the mat. Just how long am I expected to slip and slide through my workouts?

I currently work around the traction issue by placing towels where I set my hands and feet. The towels still shift and bunch up, though, which forces me to stop and reset them numerous times over the course of a workout. Maybe wearing socks and gloves would work better, but I''m not thrilled with the idea.

Buy Manduka Black Mat Pro Yoga Package, Graphite, 85 Inch Mat Now

I read all of the reviews, and the two issues with this mat are true, but they can be overcome with patience. Yes it is heavy; mine weighs exactly 8.97 pounds, a little more than the product''s spec.

I am 6'' 2", stretch off of the gym''s mats, so I wanted this 85" 5-star rated mat, regardless of the effort I planned to go thru to get it ready for my 1st practice.

Mat did have an odor and odors give me a big headache. I left it unrolled in the garage (odor was too powerful for me to keep in the house). After 2 months the odor was still noticeable when lying on the mat, but I was able to start practicing with it. Odor was totally gone in 4 months (leaving it unrolled after every practice).

Mat initially was slippery when wet and since I sweat a lot I decided to clean it as suggested once a week for the 2 months before 1st practice with it (don''t clean the Manduka sticker, it will come off). Also as suggested I left it outside during the day three times to help quicken the breakdown the film. After the initial 2 months break-in I finally had a great mat, now that it has been another 6 months, it is an excellent mat.

I have a mat for life, one that I am stable when doing Tree , one that is long and wide enough for me, without any odors , is non-slip, and cushioned. What more can I ask for?

It was a tough choice between the Manduka Black Mat and the Jade line of great mats. In the end it is a very personal matter that only you can make. The Jade is a stickier mat and the Black Mat thicker and heavier. Some folks complaint about carrying it around with them but I bought the package with the mat sack and am very glad I did. I also did not find any unpleasant smells lingering like many complained of....the rubbery smell lasted a few weeks and was gone. I don''t do "hot" yoga so I can''t report on what it is like when real wet with sweat, but I would guess you want a yoga towel on your mat anyway if you do that practice. This mat is so superior to the middle priced mats it is silly....and Manduka gives a lifetime warranty. I highly recommend it.

Rubber Cal Elephant Bark Floor Mat

Rubber Cal Elephant Bark Floor Mat, Black, 3/16-Inch x 4 x 7-FeetAs other writers have noted, the burnt rubber smell is extremely strong. I used a dedicated HEPA air filter and wrapped my mat in clear plastic to eliminate an apparent outgassing problem and minimize the odor. THis worked fine. The mat is indeed well-made and tough as the description stated.

I put this in my basement to create a workout room and it works great. The mat is very comfortable, durable, and easy to clean. My only complaint is that one piece I purchased was cut crooked. The supplier offered to replace it but I would have had to ship the product back to them and it is VERY heavy. It isn''t unreasonable that they wanted me to ship it back, but it would have been a major ordeal to bring this back up from the basement, repackage it, and ship it back.

Great product for use as a floor covering for a home gym. Don''t expect too much cushioning from the thinner versions of these mats. Personally, I prefer the 5 mm thickness because of its lower cost and since it''s best to avoid squishy flooring products if you intend to do any powerlifting/heavy lifting on them.

New Balance Women''s Sequence Jacket

New Balance Women''s Sequence Jacket, Virtual Pink, SmallI bought this for my trip to Disney. I was trying to pack lightly, and was going to be there for 10 days, including running the Goofy challenge in the process. I didn''t want to bring too many jackets, so this served as my light jacket (thanks to laundry on-site!) as well as my running gear.

It has a definite athletic look to it...the reflective strips and the material. However, because it''s black, I noticed that in photos it wasn''t obviously a running jacket. It just looked like a regular jacket. The ventilator panel keeps things cool, which I needed, and the material cannot be beat. It''s a soft, almost silky, material that flows nicely when running, doesn''t hold sweat, or any other moisture for that matter, and was easily packed...no wrinkles!

For me, the best thing about this jacket was the fit. It lies flat across my hips and my bust. I never had to adjust, it never felt tight in the bust or rode up over my hips, which is a common problem for me. I noticed this in the running photos afterward...the jacket is in the right place the whole time!

Also, if you''re considering this for running; I chose to wear a camel bak for the marathon (I have enough of a belly that I am uncomfortable with the fuel belt and I''m constantly adjusting it) and it did not bunch up at all. The fit was such that the camel bak went over it easily and it didn''t look odd. I''ve got other jackets that are looser and it looks like there is fabric coming out everywhere with the camel bak on. This was not the case.

Definitely recommend!

I use this jacket during my runs when the weather is cool or windy. Love it! A great windbreaker, and on long runs it keeps me comfortable as my core temperature changes. A great, flattering fit; true to size.

3 FIT CORD Covered Resistance Training Bands PADDED HANDLES

3 FIT CORD Covered Resistance Training Bands PADDED HANDLES, NYLON SAFETY SLEEVE & PREMIUM LATEX EXERCISE TUBE ** 1 MEDIUM, 1 HEAVY & 1 VERY HEAVY TONER WITH DOOR ANCHOR **These resistance bands work well and came as described. My only complaint is that I wish they were a bit longer. The bands do not stretch long enough to do certain exercises where you have to reach overhead. Otherwise, good product.

I bought these to use with P90X. I''d been looking all over and trying to get reviews about the different bands to ensure I got some that would last and not break and pop me in the face!! When I ran across these and saw the protective sleeve I was thinking at least if it breaks, it''s within the covering....so I ordered them. I love ''em. It''s so important that the equipment is legit when I''m trying to do some kind of work out on my own. I''m really pleased and I plan to order the ultra heavy band really soon. (from the manufacturer-it''s not available on Amazon) These bands are strong and well put together. I intend to take them with me on my extended visits out of town. If you''re questioning which exercise bands are right or which are the best quality-you won''t be disappointed with the Fit Cords.

This is just what I had been searching for as being under 5''2" all the other training bands had to be doubled up to work for me. This is sturdy, has comfotable handles and has another cable I can grow into. I also like the door anchor as I don''t have to get up on a chair to insert it in the door.

I have a couple of different types of resistance bands but needed something that protected the bands when leverage around/against hard surfaces such as steel. These bands fit the bill and are much better than expected.

Additionally, ultra-heavy bands and 6'' bands in all resistance levels are available direct from the manufacturer. Ordering information is included with the purchase of this terrific 3-band set.

Great products for the price. Highly recommended.

These are convenient weights. I love that these bands are as effective as weights but less expensive and don''t take up as much space. I''m 5''5" and they are perfect for me but my boyfriend who is 6''3" can only use them for half of his workouts. He says they''re great for curls but he can''t lift his arms to high in the air. I would recommend longer bands for taller people. Other than that I think they are perfect. I can really appreciate the covering in case the bands pop. I''m clumsy and I can only imagine knocking myself out if they popped during an exercise.

Great product!

Zumba Fitness Women''s Up Down Cargo Capri

Zumba Fitness LLC Up Down Cargo Capri, X-Large, PomegranateThis capri runs SO smaill i cannot even wear it, and its suppozed to be stretch! Overpriced and no where did it mention just how small it runs, major dissapointment!

I got these in an XL, I normally wear a 14. These pants were so tight they would not fit over my hips. They looked nice but I will be returning them.

i was very pleased with this product. I like the colors and style. i made the mistake of ordering size small. Medium size would have been perfect but aside from that i am very pleased with them. i weigh 128 pounds, 5'' 3" so you really have to be skinny to fit in a small size. i recommend this product.

I like the foldable waistband. Some Z-wear doesn''t give the rise in the front that I''d like, and the folding waistband solves that problem. These are sized small, so I would order 1, maybe 2 sizes up. I normally wear a M in cargos. I ordered a L in these, and wish I would have ordered an XL. I like more of a baggy hip-hop look though. The material is a little thicker than past cargo material. The cuffs at the bottom are to large. I normally roll them under to keep them at my knees. Otherwise the cuffs catch and pull on the pants weird when I do squats or lunges. I like the more streamlined design a little better. Not a lot of bells and whistles hanging off. There are no back pockets, and I never think that''s very flattering to my rear. They still work though, and are really cute cropped style cargos with a couple minor flaws.

This is my first Zumba pants. It''s really lovely. It looks pretty much like it appears in the picture. I purchased a size large since there was no medium size available in the black/purple. Fortunately the large size fits well. Depending on the brand (Nike, Addidas, etc), I wear anywhere between medium and large for comfort. I would definitely buy another one if they had another dark combination.

Pearl Izumi Men''s Infinity Inrcool Singlet

Pearl Izumi Men''s Infinity Intercool Singlet,White/Black,LargeThis is definitely on the pricey end for a gym shirt, but it keeps you cool, is great looking, and has taken abuse at my gym for months now without any issues. Would buy again.

Pearl Izumi makes a good product. I used this singlet recently in the New River Marathon and it worked fine. This is the Elite series but I will probably purchase the Pro series of this singlet next time to see the difference.

4 FIT CORD Covered Resistance Training Bands PADDED HANDLES

4 FIT CORD Covered Resistance Training Bands PADDED HANDLES, NYLON SAFETY SLEEVE & PREMIUM LATEX EXERCISE TUBE ** 1 VERY LIGHT, 1 LIGHT, 1 MEDIUM, 1 HEAVY WITH DOOR ANCHOR **After breaking a set of Wal-Mart bands within minutes of pulling them out of the box, I decided on these. They are priced right. There are sturdy units and I like the fact that the have cloth coverings to prevent you from over-stretching them. These will go great with he P90X program. The one downside: the cloth covering is a bit rough/abrasive and irritates bare skin. I don''t think you can go wrong with these.

I bought these resistance bands to take with me when I travel, and to use at home when I can''t get to my gym.

They are quality items, well made, and the covering helps to reduce wear. The two thickest bands offer significant resistance for me and give a tough workout.

I feel that these bands were well worth the money and will last a long time.

These stretch bands will be used, one by my 84 year old mother for exercise and one for my 61 year old husband who suffered a stroke four years ago for rehab. They far exceed my expectations. The picture didn''t help with my decision as I couldn''t really see if I was going to be happy with them or not, but I am totally excited to tell you that you will be absolutely satisfied with this product.

I purchased these cords a few months ago and they were great! Unfortunately one broke, but I contacted the seller and they replaced it promptly, free of charge. I like the style of these cords, the nylon gives you piece of mindwhen the cord broke, it didn''t snap back or anything. They are great for p90x.

Sports Slimmer Belt Back Support Waist Trimmer-Exercise Belt-Gym Tummy Belt

Sports Slimmer Belt Back Support Waist Trimmer-Exercise Belt-Gym Tummy BeltI wear this when I''m working out and when I take it off, it''s dripping in sweat. Haven''t actually measured the difference in my waistline, but my clothes do fit and look better. Starting to crack around the edges but I''m sure that''s mostly due to how tightly I personally wear it. Also took a while for it to finally show up and I wasn''t provided with a tracking number but, overall satisfied with the product, especially considering how little I paid for it.

love the sweat and the durability. great for trimming the waist line. would recommend to anyone to lose that extra water weight.

Does not hold up. Belt is already fraying after a couple uses. And there''s not enough stretch to it so it doesn''t sit flat against the stomach. Would not buy this product again. The Belt from Bally Total Fitness is far superior. Hopefully I can find that one online somewhere.

Jillian Michaels Ultimate Weighted Forearm Sleeves

Jillian Michaels Ultimate Weighted Forearm SleevesI ordered both leg and arm weighted sleeves, this review applies to both. Great concept but difficult to put on and remove (need help from 2nd person). The fit is too tight due to rigid band at top and bottom, yet, they flop around while wearing them since main material is thin and flimsy. Overall poor quality, one is tearing around the seam after only wearing 2 times.

I really like this product. However,I wish they were a little tighter. My arms pretty thin and the weights shift around a lot during any aerobic or high-intensity movement.I hag the same issue with the body togs(similar product).

These are decent workout as long as there is no jumping or running involved. Put them on and do low intensity workouts and you should be fine. BUT you CAN NOT run with them on or do anything to vigorous or they will bruise your forearms. If they fit that is these are so tight I Had to cut the velcro straps off so they would stop flapping in the breeze. If you want something you can squeeze on for working around the house or low impact workout stuff they work fine but dont plan on anything more then that or you will hurt yourself.

The rip and little stones fall out.... so the stitching is bad. I had to re-stitch them myself... not very reliable if you''re planning on training with them. Get steel weights instead.

Russell Athletic Men''s Pocket Tee

Russell Athletic Men''s Pocket Tee, Fatigue, X-LargeI''d been buying Russell Athletic brand T-shirts for some years. They were sturdy and well made, with generous sleeves. But these particular shirts were a huge disappointment. For some bizarre reason these size M shirts were marked as size "XL" which was a joke, like the little miniature sleeves. I ended up putting them all in the poor box. At this point I''m not sure about buying Russell Athletic brand shirts in future.

I have purchased these shirts at Sams Club and the quality is excellent. However those that came to my door are paper thin!Heavy athletic T''s they are not.Dickies blow these away.

Russel A,

Please pre-wash your fabrics before assembling them !! Your t shirts use to be flawless. I would appreciate a product that would keep its size after the first cycle of washing, not shrinking by one size... i had your shirts for five years lasting and now they shrink! what happened to quality control? Disappointment---people buy 1-2 sizes larger for comfort. still a nice shirt...

These are great medium-weight cotton tees. The graphite and navy, I believe are poly/cotton blends. I dunno.

These are thicker than standard off the shelf t-shirts that you would find at any local retailer. Those are just getting thinner and thinner.

These aren''t the Performance Cotton Pocket T-Shirts they stopped manufacturing. Those are what I really want, but these are sufficient.

So far I am happy with this purchase. Item arrived on time and before promised due date. I live in a subtropical climate and the light to medium weight 100% cotton fabric fits the bill in this type of environment. Hard to find a 100% cotton fabric pocketed tee in retail stores most have gone over the shiny polyester material which I have found does not breathe as well as cotton nor feel as comfortable on your skin.

Washed the tee as soon as it arrived as I do with all newly purchased fabrics as I have heard horror stories of people not doing so and developing a "staph infection" -possibly from cross contamination during production? No problems with shrinkage nor color loss after several washings. I purchased size Large and it fits me just fine (42" chest).

Overall, I think this tee is a quality, value-priced product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an all cotton pocketed tee.

Exervo HD20 3/4" Thick Premium EVA Foam Interlocking Floor Mats

Exervo HD20 Premium EVA Foam 3/4'' Thick Interlocking Floor Mats, Black, 24 sq. ft. setI bought these mats to help give my legs / joints a break from doing P90X and Insanity workouts on my basement concrete floor. These mats are nearly perfect for such a purpose, but they do have a couple short comings.

First, I stopped wearing shoes during my workouts. Shoes just slide way too much on the surface of these mats and if you''re doing any intense stretching or yoga type positions your feet will slowly slide right out from under you. Even just holding a plank or pushup position your toes will start slipping with shoes. I now workout barefoot and it''s not an issue. General lifting and walking on the mats would be fine with shoes however.

Secondly, I bought a 10x10 area and when doing some cardio moves the entire mat will slip on the concrete. This isn''t really a big deal as I plan on just putting down some double sided carpet tape to hold it in place, but you should be aware you will likely need to do this if you plan on putting them on concrete or other "slick" surface.

Lastly, I wouldn''t buy these if you are wanting to put heavy gym equipment or weights on them. These aren''t really high density foam or rubber and have a lot of cushion, a lot of weight or equipment on them for a prolonged time would set into the foam. I just use these for mostly cardio based workouts like "Insanity." I couldn''t imagine a better mat for the hopping and jumping type workouts that I''ve been doing, these mats have a lot of cushion when you come down hard.

I bought these primarily for workouts. Thickness provides plenty of cushion for various exercises and stretching. However, as other reviewer mentioned, these tend to move around a lot. I use these on a laminate floor and they shift when I do lunges, etc. If you are doing something more vigorous, this could be dangerous. I also noticed that the floors where the mat was placed have become very slippery, too! It''s like the mats are exuding some sort of lubricating substance. Tried mopping the floors and washing mats with soapy water, but I''m still having this problem. Contacted customer service, but they weren''t much help. They suggested I use one of those rubber mats that you put under rugs to keep them in place. This would be a much better product if it had at least one side with a little grip. If you are planning on using these on smooth surface flooring, anticipate having to devise some method of holding them in place.

I purchased the Exervo Premium EVA 3/4" foam mat to use while doing plyometrics for the P90X home fitness regimen. After having used it, I have to say I am very pleased with my purchase. The 3/4" thickness measures exactly 3/4". While that might sound obvious, it''s easy to buy this kind of mat and then have it not be as thick as it is listed. The Exervo mat actually feels thicker than it is.

Jumping, laying, and moving as hard as I can on it, the mat never moves on a carpeted floor and the connecting edges don''t budge a bit. I haven''t had to clean the mat yet, but the surface is such that I would imagine it would be very easy to wipe down. If you need a large mat for working out that provides cushion for your knees, this is the mat for you.

We bought these mats for our workout room. They do what we thought they would and are high quality and easy to install. My only complaint is that they slide around on the floor when you jump on them. We tried using rug nonslip strips under them, but they stuck only to the floor and not a bit to the mats. Our solution is to buy more of them and wedge them into the space so they can''t move.

My wife and I have been working out on carpet in our lower level Rec Room and needed a firm, forgiving surface that was large enough for some ballistic cardio and weight training exercises but easy to clean. We already had one 4 x 6 unit and added a second. They have proven to work quite well. Since the mats are interlocking, they break down easily for storage and set back up quickly. Solid mats of a similar size would be twice as expensive, heavier and harder to handle and impossible to store. We have been pleased.

Saranac b-grl Women''s Performance T-Shirt

Saranac b-grl Women''s Performance T-ShirtI bought this to wear for yoga. While the style is nice, I find the neckline too high for my liking. And I wish the rounded bottom were more rounded, like a baseball jersey, but it appears more like a straight edged bottom. The length is good though, covering the top of my pants pretty well during the stretches.
