Icebreaker Women''s Hike Lite Crew Sock

I wanted to love these socks because I have an icebreaker shirt that is wonderful and I wanted to support this company''s ethics. I like the purple color. The Womens medium size socks are officially the right size for my size 9.5 feet. However, before washing, the fit was very loose and fabric bunched up under my sole when putting on boots. I washed them and they shrunk a little. The fit was better temporarily, but quickly stretched out. The toe box is too roomy and fabric still bunches under sole when putting on shoes. The other thing I am rating these socks low for is that at the time of purchase, there was no manufacturer content available. I had to go to the company website to find the sock, and even there, there was no listing of what the sock was made of. Finally, I emailed the company and they replied that there socks are a blend of 60-77% merino, and the rest synthetic.

Yea these socks cost more than the ones at K Mart, however, they are the best and the most comfortable socks that you will ever own. They fit great and dont fall down like nearly every other sock i have ever worn. I love them and so will you.
