I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and advised to do several things, one of which was getting a wrist support for my right hand. I did a lot of research before making the purchase and decided to try this product. It is exactly what I wanted. Something that did the job, day and night, of supporting my wrist at work (lots of typing) and that I could actually wear easily with an outfit that looked as "unnoticeable" as possible and was not "bulky". I got it in black and have found it is very easy to wear, is no more noticeable than a dark "glove", is easy to take on and off and to wear under jackets, etc... (not bulky. I found it is relatively small compared to other similar products so it is not awkward on the wrist. It is somewhat flexible, but keeps my wrist stable, and the adjustable velcro straps are easy to adjust for comfort so it''s not too tight. Your skin can breathe well in it too. It is also very comfortable at night and light weight. I highly recommend this product.

I wanted to include some other information for others suffering from a diagnosis of "carpal tunnel", in case it is useful. I was told it was probably both from repetitive finger movements and overuse (typing and drawing), but also was greatly aggravated by carrying a heavy backpack, which affected my right shoulder/lower back, which was all affecting the carpal nerves. I was advised to get a "rolley backpack", which I researched. I purchased one at amazon online (Janson sport 8) and it had made a world of difference. Why didn''t I do this years ago?!! So easy. My shoulder and back pain is literally gone after a month of using it. I also switched my chair at work to one that provides support, and follow proper posture procedures (see online) and ordered a low "sliding keyboard" under my desk. keeping my legs uncrossed really helps too). Although initially skeptical, I tried acupuncture with a highly recommended practitioner. 4 treatments later, my carpal pain is about 95% gone. Which of all things worked? Probably a combination, but it is such an incredibly painful condition, I wanted to share all the things I did which have helped. Good luck!

I also had wrist/hand/arm pain after my child was born. My mom has carpal tunnel and I''m pretty sure I''ve got it too. I am a petite female and this worked better than any female-specific wrist support I tried. I''ve purchased at least 4 brands, and used only this one. Highly recommend!

The black may be ugly, but you don''t want a lighter color as these things get dirty.

Due to a couple of wrist injuries several years ago, I need the support of a wrist brace during my workout routines, especially when doing push-ups (off dumbbells), for example. I''ve developed RSI from excessive computer use at work and home, having a brace on the last few weeks has helped tremendously. I just switched to this brace (from another Mueller Brace) and here is what I noticed in the first day.

Pro''s:

This support is comfortable around the wrist

Straps are much easier to tighten and loosen, to a comfortable position, than those with 3 straps (2 plus a wrap around)

No exposed fake plastic/leather to dry out and crack, the other Mueller product I used had this.

Very comfortable to wear, with an exception, see below.

I have small wrist for a male, this fits nicely

Con:

I don''t really understand why they put a sewing seam right where the thumb bends inward, the extra firmness or lack of flexibility is both annoying and does hurt a bit. For me, if the seam was moved a half inch either direction, it would make this a much more comfortable product.

Move the seam and ship me a new one and I''ll gladly give this 5 stars.

Will try to update on how well it stays odorless and clean after a few days in this heat.

This is the most comfortable wrist support/brace that I have ever purchased.

The manufacturing quality is well above average.These are made from recycled materials thus the "green" label.The fabric feels lightweight so I hope that perspiration is not an issue. They also contain a microbe shield that supposedly controls odor and staining.

The price was significantly less than I paid at my CVS for the comparable FUTURO model.

I plan to buy another for my other wrist as well.
