After a month of researching various treadmills, I finally settled on the 705 CST. I''ve had it for several weeks now, and couldn''t be happier. The treadmill arrived on schedule, and everything I needed was in the box. The instructions for setting it up are really well written, and fairly easy to follow. I suggest reading through them once before you start, but it''s pretty straight-forward. It definitely takes two people, and it took us about 2 hours.I both walk and run, and can really notice the extra shock absorption. The machine is sturdy, doesn''t wobble, and is a comfortable run. It''s also fairly quiet (my dog isn''t even afraid of it, if that tells you anything). The hand rails don''t get in the way like they do on some of the other treadmills I''ve seen. The display is angled well, so that I don''t feel like I''m reaching to touch the controls. Having the cup holders/shelves on either side is a plus, and the reading tray holds my mp3 player. An added bonus is the ability to plug my mp3 player into the treadmill something I wasn''t expecting to use, but have. I''m not sure the heart rate grip is accurate, but that''s really no surprise.
Having the quick speed and quick incline is a plus. I was skeptical at first, but the treadmill adjusts quickly. I can go from walking to running in about 3 seconds. The up and down arrows control the speed and incline in .1mph increments (something I hadn''t been sure about when I bought it). I haven''t used the preset workouts, but there are several to choose from. I also haven''t used the iFit Live yet. The only thing I''m a little unhappy about is there doesn''t appear to be a way to create a user profile...but I could just be missing it.
The 705 is every bit as good a machine as the treadmills I''ve seen in gyms. Well worth the money!

This is my 1st treadmill purchase so i don''t have much to compare it to, but seems pretty well built. The shipping to my house was pretty shotty at best, when i came home and found it thrown on my carport and the packaging looked like bagdad. Nothing was damaged to my amazement and after about 2 hours i had it put together. Just make sure you have it where its going to stay when assemble it because it won''t fit through any standard door assembled and you''ll be taking it apart,(which i had the pleasure of doing). I did receive the 705T, which i don''t know the difference between it and the 705cst, but they were 200 more bucks than this 1 at walmart. Works great i would recommend a different shipper though.Want Proform 790 T Treadmill Discount?
This treadmill is much sturdier than I thought it would be. I have been running 5 miles at a time on it about 3 times a week for 3 months now and my wife has been running/walking about 5 miles a week. For the price I don''t think I could have asked for a better treadmill. The folding function is nice and it holds the treadmill in the closed position better than I thought it would. The motor gets a little loud when running about 8-11 mph but its not as bad as quite a few other models that I looked at. Its pretty quite at 6 mph and below. I use it at 5 am and I haven''t woken up my 3 year old that sleeps right above the workout room, so that is a plus. The heart monitor doesn''t work correctly but I didn''t expect it too for the price. One of the hand grips for the heart monitor popped off of the handles so I crazy glued it back on for aesthetic purposes. The quick speed buttons are nice for sprinting workout but they only go up to ten. The speed increases at a good rate but I would like the slow down after the sprint to work a bit faster but I have that problem with $5,000 machines at the gym too.Overall if I had to do it all over again I would still pick this treadmill over the rest for the price. You could spend much more but it you only care about running then this machine is a pretty good fit.
