A good, sturdy short that does what one expects of a pair of shorts and doesn''t fall into the pit of being a "fashion statement". Mow the lawn, play ball, do chores, whatever is on the program, short of a formal wedding or a sit down dinner, and these are what to reach for. Two deep, handy pockets and a draw string waste add up to serviceable, comfortable pair of shorts. Easily worn over a bathing suit or a jock for rough housing, they are exactly what they are supposed to be, a sturdy cotton short that probably will last for years, the sort of thing that, battered, beaten, ripped and stitched, you still return to for their solid comfort and usefulness.

The quality of these shorts are sturdy enough to take the wear and washings. But, the cut is small and the pockets are skimpy. I''m barely able to fit my wallet in the pocket. The cut makes me feel like I''m wearing a half size too small. I will wear these. But, I won''t buy more. They really cheaped out on the cut trying to save a few pennies on the amount of material.

I''m very disappointed. It is certainly not heavy weight cotton. The material feels like a t-shirt. It does not feel like 100% cotton at all. The cut is also not relaxing, very uncomfortable. My waist size is 34-35 and I bought 2 size L which is supposed to fit 36-38.

Enough said. Do not repeat my mistake. I won''t.
