They feel cushioned enough, but are rather cheap and weirdly curved outward. The handles are strangely designed, 3 nylon tubes to slide your fingers into, making them difficult to hold onto when they are hit hard. A bit of a shame that they tag a sub-standard product with the name of "The Greatest!"
