I''m not so good at working out at home, but being a full-time mom to a very active 18-month old means I don''t always make it to the gym. I''ve gotten much better at using Netflix to stream some workouts on days I don''t get out and so I thought I would reward myself with some weights. I did a bit of research and decided on this set because I wanted 8 lb dumbbells in the set and it was at a very attractive price point. It also helps that there is a rack to hold them all in place. I just received them today and they are your average dumbbells--this is a pretty straightforward product. One great things is that they have a comfortable grip. It comes with a DVD and a workout poster--I have no need for them but it''s a nice touch for beginners. All in all, I''m pretty happy with how they arrived and what they look and feel like. Now getting myself to use them regularly, well, let''s hope I can stay motivated!

Hand weights were the one thing my wife really wanted for Christmas. Once opened she really loved the design of the weights and how comfortable they were. The DVD was a plus and the tray makes the storage look much better.

This is an amazing value for 3 sets of hand weights! They are comfortable to hold and I like the rounded shape so that when I use them overhead for triceps, it is more comfortable. Only downside was that there is not enough packing inside the actual Jillian Michaels box, so the weights broke free and snapped off parts of the plastic on the holder (would give 4.5 stars if could and 5 if the holder was thicker plastic). With Amazon Prime shipping I got the set incredibly fast too! A great buy!

And I compared prices everywhere from amazon to walmart with a ship to store option to save shipping, these with free super saver shipping were the best deal. It comes with 2 3lb, 2 5lb, and 2 8lb dumbells and a tray to set them in. They are comfortable to hang on to, with a rubbery non-slip casing that is very comfortable. If your looking for weights in this rangebuy these. I don''t really use the 3''s, but I wanted 5''s and 8''s. and the set of three was cheaper than buying 5''s and 8''s seperately. Highly recommend!
