AFG 2.0 AR Recumbent Exercise Bike

AFG 2.0 AR Recumbent Exercise BikeI purchased this bike for my elderly father upon his discharge from hospital/transitional nursing home care. We needed something to continue his strength training at home, and this bike was perfect for exercising and keeping his interest by watching television while he was riding it. It is very similar to higher end and much more expensive models used by therapy offices and health clubs. I found myself using it as well and actually stuck with it! It is so easy to use, and there are a variety of programs to keep you interested. It was fun to pace myself to a 20 minute DVD at first, working up in time increments from there. The bike is extremely solid, and the seat is comfortable. I shopped all over town for one of these bikes, but did not find one that measured up to this one in quality, and the price was actually less than some of the inferior models I tested.

Trudeau Cool Off Hydration Bottle

Trudeau Cool Off 24-Ounce Hydration Bottle, PurpleMy favorite water bottle yet still Disappointed!

This is my very favorite water bottle. I love the colors. I love that it is double insulated and doesn''t sweat on everything. I love that it has a straw and I love that when I''m carrying an arm load of stuff I can grab the bottle with a pinky finger and off I go.

I however HATE how easy they break! I have never had a water bottle break until I started using this kind. I am not rough on them and I don''t toss them around, but lets face it, I do live and this bottle is always within an arms reach so it does get used. Twice I have had them sitting on the ground and get knocked over and break. Not knocked over and it rolled away, I''m talking, tipped over! I have also had the inner space start filling with water and not even know the bottle had gotten bumped. Not to mention the times they have fallen a foot or two and they are done for. Don''t even bother buying one for your kids, those got broken immediately.

Trudeau, Please make these water bottles sturdier!

Honestly, I have not found a better water bottle than this one. When I had my babies, the hospital gave me an insulated water mug with a lid and straw. I loved it but it would spill it tipped over and it was too wide for car cup holders. But it was the best thing I ever found to make it easy to drink lots of water and be healthy. After a couple of years my hospital mug broke. I looked for a long time to find something similar.

The Trudeau water bottle is so good that I cannot get enough of them. They leak less water if you tip them over. They leak none if they straw is closed down under the lid. They fit in car cup holders. They look great. They don''t sweat and leave water stains on my furniture. I can put it in my purse or backpack. My ice water stays cold for hours. If I fill it with ice and water at night, it''s still cold in the morning.

I had to buy more than one because my husband and kids keep stealing mine. I will be buying extra for my friends too. Honestly, I just wish there were more colors so that each of my 6 sons could have their own color and different colors for me and for my husband.

If there is a downside, it''s that you can''t put them in the dishwasher. But I don''t really care about that since I only use them for water. I have had one break, which really surprised me because they are very durable. I guess that one hit the floor at just the right angle, because we have dropped them many times before, without them being damaged.

Buy Trudeau Cool Off Hydration Bottle Now

I''m what you might call a water bottle aficionado. I''ve bought dozens of them over the past few years. Some have lasted months, a lot of them only lasted a day, but this bottle is the only one that has lasted years!

I swear I have owned just about every type of water bottle in existence. From the flip pop open top to the squeeze. Both of which didn''t work out for me. For some reason the bottles I favor the most are the ones with straws. I honestly can''t answer why to this. It''s just my own preference. But I digress, I''m here to review this bottle. So let me tell you my experience with it.

I first found it in a local Target store. It was sitting on a shelf by itself in a section completely unrelated. I picked it up and looked it over. I was really impressed with how sturdy it felt. So I trotted off with it to the water bottle section to see how much it cost. Alas I couldn''t find another one or even a tag anywhere matching the SKU. I never-the-less decided to buy it anyways. It ended up costing me a little over $10. When I got it home I put it on a shelf in my cupboard next to a few others I''d found previously and there it stayed for about 6 months.

It was only a matter of time before I burned through all the bottles I had purchased. I get annoyed very easily. It didn''t take long before they would start leaking all over the place or no matter how much I cleaned them there would be this inner film that just looked disgusting. I kept putting off using this bottle for the stupidest reason. Just be cause it was pink. But finally one day I decided to give it a go. Can you believe that it lasted me 2 years!?

Like I said this is a solidly constructed bottle. It is made of plastic but has two layers. Both layers are very thick. The outer layer is shapely and the middle of it is covered by soft rubber that provides a great grip. There is a good amount of space between the inner plastic layer and the outer. This means virtually no condensation on the outside of the bottle. The top has the attached straw and you turn it to open and close it. This action neatly bends the straw and stores it inside the lid. I have never had the lid leak. Ever!

After 2 years of use I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher. The plastic on the bottle cracked and there was no saving it after that. I thought I had lost my bottle for good but then I found it here on Amazon and in purple, my favorite color! I''ve been using it everyday these past 3 months and I couldn''t be happier.

I can''t find anything negative to say about this bottle. But I can provide some recommendations. First off when they tell you not to put it in the dishwasher they aren''t kidding. Second, be diligent about keeping the inside of the lid clean. It can build up gunk very easily. I did put the lid in the dishwasher and it never had any problems and cleaned it rather well. That about covers it.

I''m actually thinking about buying a few more of these so I have extras just in case. Who knows how long they''ll keep making them.

I had the "Cool Down" version of this water bottle for about two years and found it to be very durable and rugged. I dropped it a lot before it finally broke. When I went to purchase a new one, I went with this new style. DON''T. I purchased this bottle back in October and the first time I used it, the outside was covered in condensation even though the double wall was supposed to stop that from happening. I contacted Trudeau and was able to return the product and receive a replacement that worked great for two weeks until I dropped it ONE time on the carpet in my office. Then it basically shattered at the bottom, cracked at the top and became useless. I''ve contacted Trudeau to see if they will replace the bottle again, preferably with the "Cool Down" bottle as that seems to be a superior product.

Puma Men''s TB Running Race Singlet

Puma Men''s TB Running Race Singlet, White-White, MediumThis shirt [singlet] is perfect for me. The construction is of a thin polyester mesh that is light and well ventilated. The material absorbs perspiration but is not tacky against the skin. The shirt''s profile and cut on my small body accentuates a v-shape and is flattering on any frame that is considered ''fit''. The length is just long enough to cover the waist band on my running pants. The shirt was easily removed after an hour long session of lifting and running whilst not carrying much of an odor. The dye does not fade from the material after a few wash cycles unlike organic-based fabrics. The shirt has a ''flow'' and ''drape'' property that does not ''hug'' the body like other shirts infused with elastic materials like Lycra. The tight fitment is in the cut of the material and is form-fitting so long as the size is correct for the body type.

I like this singlet alot. I wear it and other singlets while working out and running. It breathes well and is true to size. I have a medium and I am 6''2 177lbs. Looks good and feels good.

ASICS Women''s ASX Bikini

ASICS Women''s ASX Bikini,Black,Small-MediumThese bikini running underwear are very comfortable. They are a snug, but not tight, fit so they don''t ride up or chafe. The fabric is great for wicking away sweat and keeping you dry. The bikini is slightly lower than a hipster style. I have tried another brand and these are definitely better fitting and more comfortable. I am going to get another pair.

I was skeptical about paying nearly $20 for one pair of underwear, but I was just frustrated enough to buy one pair. I do Zumba, Step Pump, kick boxing, and spead a lot of time on the treadmill. My underwear would roll down and/or bunch up in the back. During my first workout, I completely forgot I was wearing underwear! haha They worked great. I will be buying a few more.

After a ton of research I decided to purchase these to wear under my workout pants. I do High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 3 days a week and nothing else was working for me. I have gone without for many workouts, but there are certain times during the month when I don''t feel comfortable going commando. I wear tight capri leggings when I work out so you could totally see the underwear line. I''m sure they would not show at all if I was wearing looser pants. I was most impressed with the fact that these underwear did not move at all during my workout. I wore them for my HIIT bootcamp (1 hour) and then a Pole Burn class (another hour) right after and they were incredible. I seriously forgot that I had them on. Extremely comfortable! They pull the sweat away from your body and leave you feeling cool and dry at the end of your workout. If you have been searching, I would highly recommend these.

Russell Athletic Men''s Dri-power Fleece 1/4 Zip Cadet Sweatshirt

Russell Athletic Men''s Dri-Power Fleece 1/4 Zip Cadet Sweatshirt, Black Heather/Oxford, X-LargeThe best version of a 1/4 zip sweatshirt that I have seen. This Russell product is better than any I have found in local stores.

I purchased 10 of these 1/4 zips for my son''s lacrosse team. They are thick enough but not bulky, soft and WARM. They shrunk about one inch all around which was to be expected.

Very happy with the quality.

Reebok Kettlebell with DVD

Reebok Kettlebell with DVD, Blue, 15-PoundI got the 10lb kettle bell. My biggest fear was throwing the darned thing into the tv while I was working out, but I found it easy to grip and hold on to, and I pointed myself away from the tv when doing really big moves. ;)

I''ve so far only completed the beginner workout, and while it''s only 16 minutes, it''s a darned crazy 16 minutes! There''s a nice warmup (including the kettlebell, so you start going right away!). Then you will do 40 seconds of engagement and 20 seconds of recovery for the duration of the workout, which is nice, because he shows you the next move during the recovery. The beginners workout seems easy, but doing full squats with chest raises for 40 seconds is nothing to sneeze at! I think I''ll keep with teh beginner workout for a week or so, maybe even doing it twice, then move up to the advanced.

The cool-down has some nice stretches, and I felt a good burn during the stretches. Plus, as an added bonus, I got to sit down! LOL

This is a very good introduction into kettle bell workouts for me, and I can see that it really is a workout!

The dvd workout is good, has an easier and a harder workout. Either workout leaves me sore every time, so I know it''s working. I have not had any problems with the kettlebell, and it''s easy to grip. I am a female, and wish I would have ordered a little bit lighter, being a beginner. But oh well, it works.

I live in Hawaii and most kettlebell distributors won''t ship here. However I did find a Amazon LLC company that would ship the Reebok. It was almost 3 times the expense but was the only game in town. I just received the promptly delivered package and now I know why it was so expensive. The quality of the product was excellent and it''s design with a metal handle allowed the product to be smaller than others with a plastic handle. I will buy this product again in another weight as my home gym evolves.

Great product. it maybe small but it definietly weighs 12lbs or more. At my kettlebell class everyone came up to me to see my small kettlebell only to be surprised by the heaviness of it and overall sturdy product.

Love it. Wish it was contour. The contour kettlebells are the best. Wish someone would make contour ones in every weight!

ASICS Men''s Thermopolisxp Running Pants

ASICS Men''s Thermopolisxp Running Pants,BLACK,LHave ran in these pants in 20 degrees with wind at 15 to 20 mph and I wasn''t freezing. Ran with them in 35 degrees and wind 10 to 15 and they where just perfect warm but not hot.

Great heat retention and wind resistance. Very comfortable with no binding, the interior is very soft against the skin. Easy to use as a warm-up pant, warm enough to use in place of winter running tights. Side pockets are very useful for holding gels or keys. My only wish was that there was a little more reflective material on it, since it tends to be dark when I run in these, and visibility and safety always go together. Highly recommended.

CW-X Women''s Pro Running Shorts

CW-X Women''s Pro Shorts-Navy-XSAbsolutely great shorts which deliver on the promise to reduce muscle fatigue and provide excellent compression. Have been wearing them for many years, and will probably continue to do so even though they are very pricey at $70 or more. It is disappointing that from the very first pair the crotch seam all the way down the inside thigh seam deteriorates until the fabric pulls apart. The first pair I sent back to CW-X and they were replaced but this flaw has continued in every pair since then. Doesn''t seem to matter if it is men''s or women''s short, the inside seam is the weak link that eventually gives way. CW-X makes a great short, but keep checking that inside seam.

This is my third pair of the CW-X tights; I have the full length tight in both the regular and the thermal for winter time sports. I absolutely love my long tights. I am 5''6" and about 135 lbs and bought the small in all of them. Great fit. Tight to get into but fits right. Bought these in the short version (above the knee) and I''m not as crazy about them for one simple reason. The way the stitching goes around the thigh, for some reason, it makes my thigh bulge out on the inner side of my thigh, just behind the seam. At 135 lbs and 5''6" I''m more on the slender side but what fat I have on my thigh bulges out behind this seam. I don''t think it''s probably noticeable to people but it makes me feel just a bit self conscious about wearing them and I simply don''t have this problem on the long tights. I have bought them all on Amazon simply because they have the greatest prices, fast free shipping and a great purchasing experience.

I am 135lbs, 5''4'''' and tried on the Medium. According to BMI charts, my BMI is right in the middle of the range for my height and weight. Since I dont have extremely tight and toned thighs, the elastic in certain places fit me funny and my thighs stuck out in certain places. From a totally aesthetic point of view, I didnt like them because the elastic made my thighs bulge in certain areas and it was not pretty...but I cant comment on functionality or worth since I returned them.

She loves them and commented how much better she feels after the end of a run when wearing these. Hence I purchased her another set of the shorts as well as a pair of the CW-X Pro Running Pants.

ASICS Men''s Core Pocketed Short

ASICS Men''s Core Pocketed Running Short,Iron,X-LargeIn looking for running shorts I have a couple of critical criteria that I look for. The shorts should have a good inner brief...not too tight but provides a bit of support. It should have a key pocket in the front that is just big enough to hold a single key and it should have a flap over the top to prevent it from jarring loose (real disaster to find that your car key found its way out somewhere on the last 10 miles of trail when you return...don''t ask it happened.). Fabric should be light weight to not weigh you down and the length shouldn''t constrict your running or prevent good air circulation to keep you cool. These shorts hit the mark on all of these items. They also boast slash side pockets that when empty you don''t even know they''re there. But give you a place to put your key ring and wallet when you hit the juice bar (or whatever) following your run....(don''t have to change shorts in your car!)

Longevity wise, time will tell. The brief elastic is a bit thin and is already beginning to loose it''s ability to return after about a year. I usually look to get 5+ years out of my shorts using them once per week and machine washing (drip dry). So far so good.

Hope this helps

These shorts are great for distance running. They''re lined for a comfortable fit yet the outer shell is baggy for a nice fit. The only thing I wish were different is that the pockets had zippers.

Excellent shorts, ultra light, inside liner leg holes are a bit large, could be smaller for a snugger fit, but overall excellent shorts. I should add that they handle sweat excellent, after working out and my cotton shirt is soaked, my shorts are still dry, it''s sort of freaky.

Women''s Classic Triathlon Shorts

Simtec Fun Slides Carpet Skates (Silver)

Simtec Fun Slides Carpet Skates - SilverI am not sure why these slides didn''t work for one reviewer, but it might have been her carpet. We have three different kinds of carpet at our house: Patterned berber, flat berber, and plush carpet. Surprisingly, the FunSlides worked much better on the plush carpet. I figured the flat berber would work best, but nope. The slides still slid around on berber, and berber is actually a good carpet for a non-skating child to start on. But... the fluffy, fuzzy, plush carpet works best. Also, the heavier the child, the better the slide (to a point--an obese child might end up smashing down the carpet too much for them to work).

We were snowed in for a long time here. The kids had fun indoors with this product. I used them and they really worked my thighs--I could really feel it.

Now, these don''t feel like regular skates, so if you are expecting that, you''ll be disappointed. It feels like socks on a just-waxed floor, or close to it. If you don''t like them, you''re not out of much money. Or you can buy the track to skate on and skip the carpet altogether.

Great way to get the kids working up a sweat indoors. My son got a pair and then we had to get another pair for his younger brother so they could skate together. We also bought a sets as birthday gifts for some friends that are really into hockey and they LOVE them. Great unique item.

Bought these for an in-office "Winter Olympics" event. We had grown adults running around the carpeted floor, sliding around in events. For example, The Luge: one associate sits in a rolling chair while another, with the skates on, tries to push the chair down a straight hallway. Very hilarious to watch since the skates afford very little push initially. Looks like someone is running in place until they finally get moving.

These would probably be real good for kids if you have plenty of carpet. If they are safe kiddos, they will have lots of fun.

UFC Weighted Jump Rope

UFC Weighted Jump RopeI''ve been using speedropes for preworkout warm ups and cardio conditioning for years and I''ve gone through a ton of them from the standard everlast to the buddy lee aero''s. Speedrope training is a great exercise that you can have alot of fun with. Becoming proficient in is allows you to enter a trance like state where the time flies by and fat just burns. It works your shoulders but more importantly your legs muscles which are your largest calorie burning muscles. It also can increase hormone production that will help sculpt your body. Boxing trainers around the world consider 10 mins of speedrope training the equivalent of 30 mins on a treadmill. For the price of admission, and practice, it''s worth it.

Onto the UFC speedrope. I was skeptical at first thinking it would be some cheap jumprope with a UFC branding slapped on it but was pleasantly surprised. I''ve used it roughly 6 times so far as warm ups to my workouts. The weight of the handles can take some getting used to. Going from an everlast to this requires an adjustment period before you are able to trick out with double unders. The weight, as well as the actual cord is adjustable, but I haven''t modified it yet because i want to get my bearings first before changing anything. The handles are nice and comfortable. They fit great in the palms and there is a little indent for your thumbs. It''s made mostly of hard plastic but has these red rubber like linings the prevents them from slipping out of your hands.

The actual cord seems to be a standard black nylon (?) cord that is thinner then most other ropes, but this rope also has a thicker coating of clear plastic over that which seems very durable. I haven''t noticed any damage to the cord thus far so I figure it will last as long as the others with consistant use (most likely 3-6 months). Speedropes break, it''s annoying, it''s life. Get used to it. I''m expecting to have to buy another one of these by the end of the year.

All in all, i can tell it is worth the 15 bucks. Hope this helps you.

I recently broke my favorite speedrope, so needless to say I was in the market for a new one, but I didn''t really know what I was looking for. The broken was was my father''s and there were no markings on it to tell the manufacturer, so I decided to try a different better one.

I bought three.

One was a cheap 9'' rope by Rival. It is far too long for me (I am 6'' tall) and it feels cheap. I also bought an 8'' ball bearing rope because it was only $10 and it was a cool color. That rope is very light and rather fun to use for a time. But because this UFC rope arrived in the mail before that rope, I always come back to it. It is very easy to adjust and is now the perfect length for my height. The rope is very very fast. The handles have a good weight to them and the grips are very ergonomic. For twice the price of the ball bearing rope, the UFC rope is infinitely many times greater than that rope, and even better than the one I had sought to replace. I love this rope.

Buy UFC Weighted Jump Rope Now

I got this rope yesterday (6-1-12) and decided to try it out this morning. I haven''t Jumped rope in years and forgot how great of a workout it was.

The Handles were very comfortable. The Rope weight was just right. It didn''t take much to get the rope going and keep it going. It didn''t tangle on me at all during my 20 minute workout.

I went to our local stadium to use my rope because they have a very nice track that is made of asphalt and rubber pieces. Very soft , low impact and easy on the feet. After I was finished I checked the abrasions on the rope and found it was very very minimal so I will be using my rope at the stadium.

I''m a 5''6" dude that weighs 145 Lbs. I find that I needed to shorten the rope a bit because it forced me to stick my hands way out to the side. While this is nice because it works the arms heavily it just feels uncomfortable. I''ll be taking about 4"8" from the rope and it should be perfect for me.

I''m Totally pleased with this product so far. I will add an update if anything goes wrong with the rope but from what I see so far, I probably won''t.

I''be been using this for about a month now the weight surprised me at first but easily adaptable and I don''t notice it any more. The cord is the only problem when it arrived it was tightly bound together and has never lost the "kinks" in the line. Its only an annoyance when I start to jump once I start going fast enough it seems to smooth out until I slow down or stop but those are the times it catches my feet!

Icebreaker Men''s Legacy Coat

Icebreaker Men''s Legacy CoatI came across this Icebreaker jacket in a store the other day. I own other Icebreaker clothing, but had never seen this coat before. It is beautiful. As soon as I tried it on, I knew that I had to add it to my wardrobe. My old wool peacoat is boxy and doesn''t keep me very warm. My old peacoat is a nice coat (and it wasn''t cheap), but it doesn''t offer any of the slim "fitted" look like this Icebreaker coat.

The instant you try it on, you can tell that it''s going to keep you warm. It is thick without feeling bulky. It is more of a fitted, contemporary look, and the pockets, zippers, and interior lining are all extremely high quality. This is not a cheap coat, and I wouldn''t expect anything less for the price. It feels and fits like an expensive coat should. It will replace about 3 of my current coats immediately!

Not mentioned in the item description is that it has "soft, stretchy internal cuffs that exclude drafts". While it has normal wool sleeves that hang to your hand, it also has tight elastic internal cuffs that cling to your wrists to keep out the wind. Think of it like having rugby-shirt-style sleeves on the inside to help keep you warm.

I''ve tried this coat over my Icebreaker 320 quarter-zip wool sweater and it fits perfectly. There''s no way I''ll be cold if I wear the Icebreaker 320 sweater w/ this new Legacy coat. You can wear this coat to a nice event w/ slacks and a more formal look, or you could wear it every day with jeans. Either way, you''re going to really like how you look. I highly recommend this sweater IMO, it''s well worth the price.

BodySport Fitness Ball

BodySport Fitness Ball 45cm Exercise Fitness BallThe ball is nice. I''ve only been using it a couple days, as the pump that comes with it (which is one reason I bought this ball over others that didn''t come with a pump) is a cheap little plastic thing that split once, and after I taped it, then broke apart completely. I had to rig up a bicycle pump. Long, tiring process. Buy this ball if you want, fine, but not because it come with a pump. That would be a disappointment.

Very tough and resilient material. Beautiful Teal color. I spent an hour trying to inflate it with the small foot pump doing it manually rather than by foot. Finally I said nuts to this and began inflating it by mouth which got me 95% of the way, then finished off the inflation using the pump. This ball is BIG. I''m 5''10" and it''s a perfect height seated at my computer desk. It does take up some room on the ground though, be advised. Quality is excellent, I''m very satisfied. The only negatives are the rather lightweight foot pump, and the odor of the plastic which dissipates after about a week. Great Buy!!

I love this ball I bought the 75cm, it is perferct for work. I sit on it instead of an office chair. However, as others have stated the pump that came with this is an absolute joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you don''t have your own pump you can use please don''t waste your time and money with this ball, because it would literally take 6 hours to pump up the ball using the pump that came with it. So that means that you would have to go out and buy a pump, so don''t buy this ball if you don''t have a pump already.

measuring tape for inflation and pump really is weak, but its a good durable ball that me and the kids use.

Ironman ATIS 1000 AB Training System Inversion Therapy Table

Ironman ATIS 1000 AB Training System Inversion Therapy TableI just recently purchased the Ironman Inversion System nice, very nice!

This review is in five parts:

1. About the inversion system

2. Assembling the Ironman Inversion System

3. Assembly Steps that deserve comment

4. Broken or missing parts

5. Health Warnings (added because I didn''t see this anywhere until I read the manual).

About the inversion system

This is not my first inversion system; I have a Stamina Inversion Therapy Table where we spend our summers. I purchased that unit from Amazon in May 2007. If that model had been available, I would have just reordered it. Since that unit is no longer available, I had to search out a new inversion system.

The Ironman is better than the Stamina in several ways. Number one is the capability of locking the bed at desired angles.

1.) I like this when I''m in the inverted position because you can move your arms without the inversion system moving safely but annoyingly at the pivot. Also, because of my back problems at times when my back was really hurting I would lay on the floor with a pillow under my head. I thought I would try the Ironman locked in the horizontal position and by golly it works! I put my feet into the heel locks just as a safety precaution. Then I rotated the bed to the horizontal position and locked it. It is more comfortable than the floor but stiff enough that it works. I have also tilted it just beyond horizontal when my back is hurting. It feels good but I still have not decided how long to stay in that position.

2.) The foot holder is a lot more comfortable than my Stamina. It is mounted so that the orientation and position of what they call the "Heel Holder" is just right.

There are some minuses.

I like the head rest but this one is not adjustable. Ironman should fix this. I removed one bolt and rotated the headrest to an ideal position for me.

The Ironman folds up but it is big and heavy. If you have to put it away this inversion system probably isn''t the unit for you.

Assembling the Ironman Inversion System

The Ironman Inversion System comes in a big box and it is heavy. The UPS guy brought it into my home and put it in the room where I wanted to set the unit up. I am an engineer and when I opened the box it scared me and I am fearless. I got my electronic camera and took several pictures of the opened box and even marked all the Styrofoam blocks in case I had a problem with the unit. As it worked out, I didn''t have anything to fear. Every piece was wrapped. The screw, bolts, nuts and washers came mounted on one piece of cardboard held in place by shrink wrap plastic. Where possible they made sets by putting the nut and the washers on the bolts. Also on that board were the tools you need to put the unit together.

The part I was most concerned with mounting the bed to the frame turned out to be quite easy because it was designed for assembly by one person.

Regarding assembly; allow two hours. You have to take all of the parts out of the box before you find the manual at the bottom of box. When I looked at the manual I was comfortable everything would go together. The front and rear leg assemblies including the pivots were already together. I had to add the bed headrest, the boom that mounts the heel holders; these kinds of parts. Assembly is not a cake walk but if you follow the directions and are comfortable with a wrench in your hand, you should be able to assemble this unit.

Lay out the bolts in an area convenient to where you will be assembling the unit. Organize the bolts in the same relationship as the picture on Page 6 of the Manual. Do not disassemble the nut and the washer. They will be the right parts in the right quantity for each assembly position.

You can assemble the unit using just their tools. Although these are metric size nuts and bolts, the following are my tools that I used for assembly:

A 1/2 in. and 5/8 in. open end wrench

A Phillips screwdriver with a #1 and a #3 bit

A 10mm socket (3/8 in will work)

Assembly Steps that deserve comment

Step 1, Putting on the four feet The directions do not refer to the F and the B decals on the feet. Put the F feet on the front and the B feet on the back.

Step 3, Place the bed into the frame just as the picture shows. Insert the two #43 bolts with one washer on each side as shown in the instructions. Tighten lock nuts finger tight (they will just start). You will have to wiggle the bed to get the holes to line up. Don''t worry; they have plenty of play. Then insert the two #44 bolts with a washer on each side as per the directions and put the nylon nut on finger tight. This way you will have everything loosely assembled before you tighten anything down. Tighten the #44 nuts and bolts a little at a time alternating between the left and right bolt. Then tighten the #43 bolts in the same way.

Step 7, the instructions have an error. The washer is shown on the nylon nut side but it should be on the bolt head side. The nylon nut side has a very nice hex retainer for the nut built in. Position the lock nut in the retainer then tighten the bolt.

Step 8, Screw #80 fasten snug and back off about ¼ turn.

Broken or missing parts

One little plastic part was chipped. No big deal; everything would work but thought I should get a replacement. How easy this was! I called the phone number shown on the manual; pushed the button for service and my call was taken by a human being. He started to ask for the order number but when he knew it was ordered from Amazon he asked for my zip code and was able to pull up my record. He told me I would receive the replacement part by mail. Note: if I have a problem I will amend this report.

I bought this inversion table a month ago. I have mixed feelings with the product so far.

Positives:

I think this product is very well designed. The locking mechanism is an unique and valuable feature. In addition, the table feels sturdy and solid overall so you won''t feel insecure hanging upside down on it. The only one design flaw is the location of the headrest (as mentioned by another reviewer).

Negatives:

My table had a couple of defective parts (1) the cap that covers the locking mechanism is broken; (2) the siding/ edge of the leg adjustment is chipped/ cracked; and (3) the screw/ screw hole that secures the ankle lock is loose/ cannot be tightened. Item (1) and (2) are no big deal as they are more for appearance but item (3)is very important as a loose ankle lock can lead to safety issues.

I had contacted Ironman to have part (3) replaced but they ended up shipping a wrong replacement part to me. I then submitted another request but so far (over 4 weeks) I still haven''t received the new replacement part and my followup emails inquiring about the matter has been unanswered.

Finally, after using this product for a month, the locking mechanism seems to be working less smoothly for some reasons It just feels like it might break soon....

I think this inversion table has a lot of potential and I really want to like this product. However, the workmanship/ materials/ parts seem to be questionable so I cannot recommend it (although it just might be my bad luck/ that I got a lemon.)

I purchased this table for lower back trouble I''ve been suffering for some time now. At 6 ft. 285 lbs I needed something durable. The table arrived 3 days earlier than expected, which was a god-send. It took all of 10 minutes to put together and 3 minutes to figure out how to use it. The third day of use at just a 30 degree tilt for about 6 minutes I got the pleasant "pop" in my low back that had eluded the chiropractor for last 3 sessions and felt great all day. My wife and 3 boys all use it now and love it. The boys range in height from 6''2" to 5''4" and all can change the height on it in seconds. Great product for relieving tension and the youngest does reverse crunches on it for a good lower ab work out.

We bought this Inversion Table as a result of my husband''s recent back problems. We had no prior knowledge of Inversion Tables, and so we did a lot of research, online, as well as hitting a few stores to check out other brands. I don''t understand the other "bad" reviews on this table, at all. The ankle holders are SO comfortable, as with all tables, it is recommended that you wear your tennis shoes. I chose this specific table for the padded headrest and padded ankle holders, which I feel make this table that much more comfortable than the rest. For first time users, this table is excellent because it has the hand rails on the sides for "added security" to aid in lowering and raising yourself, as well as the inversion bar at the bottom to aid you in reaching true vertical inversion. Yes, with a lot of products that you buy, you have to put it together. Frankly, my child''s highchair was more difficult to put together than this table was. The "large pieces" of the table are already done for you, you just have to attach it all together. I do recommend that if you cannot lift heavy-ish objects, you have someone help you put it together. It does fold for storage, but, if you have back problems, and cannot move heavy things around, why would you want that? For those people that say that it seems to loosen everytime they use it, I suggest that they needed to tighten everything properly at the time of assembly, because we do not have that problem. This is a WONDERFUL product!!!

We love this inversion table. The locking feature is nice especially when you don''t want to go all the way over. It has several different angles you can lock it at. The only reason we didn''t give it a five star rating is that the head rest kind of bends your neck funny so we kept it off and use a hand towel under our head instead. One other thing: it is heavy though its not really a problem if you don''t have to keep putting it away every time after you use it.

TKO 38-Inch Mini Trampoline

TKO 38-Inch Mini TrampolineLove this itemall the kids who come over also like it.

I wanted to use it before a hip replacement to toughen up and make my muscles more strong. I wanted to jump on it to increase cardio but so far, it has been used a few times, groaning under my weightprobably wayyyy more than it is rated forbut I so far, do not feel as though thte thing will fail and drop me.

Shipping was fabuloustimely and simplecheapyay Amazon.

Nowhere did it say it weight ratingso i am cautious on this tramp every use...if I can get a few more uses out of it before it spings and spring, I consider it about the same as if I had paid for a month at the gym and basically, never gone...to work outone just lays it out on a carpeted floor as I doand get on. Jump or bounce as I doand immediately, one feels like a kid again. I bounce to CNBC and an occasional CD playing so time just passes and before I know it, I have had a workout-

Higly recommendedeven though I will be having a new hip sometime in the near futureand will be restricted from activity like this, for sure.

One can swing arms with no problemand smile when working out-

It is a delight and 50 bucks spent on it very good use of the money!

Thank you.

A friend of mine has the $200+ Needak, and that is what turned me on to the rebound concept. I opted for the TKO, because I was not sure how well I would like it once I had one at home. Both the wife and I find it a nice addition to our fitness routine. It is easy to move into the living room and work out in front of the TV, or we keep it in a spare room, and just bounce around with the MP3 player and headphones. You can get a good workout in 20 minutes. I had torn my Achilles tendon, and this was a big help during rehabilitation. This unit is sturdy, and has a nice feel to the platform, much better than the ones for sale at the big box stores. Springs are sturdy and quiet.

I purchased this rebounder for a second residence and already had bought an Urban Rebounder. The TKO is much too stiff for good rebounding compared to the Urban which I (now) like so much better. It took buying the TKO to really appreciate the one I already had. Pay the extra money and buy the Urban for more comfortable exercising.

This mini trampoline is just what I wanted! I have been jogging on this trampoline almost every day for 10 30 minutes without any problems for at least a month. I weigh about 165 pounds and have had knee pain with fixed position striders before. I didn''t want to spend a lot of money on this in case it hurt my knees. So far, no knee pain and I am thrilled! It seems to be well constructed and seems heavy duty enough for my purposes. While it wasn''t packaged very well the cardboard box was all beat up with holes in it and the trampoline legs were just rolling around in there at least everything was in there. One of the legs, however was missing its rubber foot which were all snugly attached, so it looked like an oversite of the person putting the pieces together properly for boxing. I did ask Amazon for a return and everything turned out fine in the end. It seemed like a lot of work to go through, to return the entire trampoline just so I could get one with all rubber feet on the metal legs. But it was also nice to know that when I did take off a rubber foot to inspect it, they had a metal ring inside of them which meant that the metal legs would be prevented from eventually making cut outs in your carpets or flooring! For the price and what I expected, I''ll give it 5 stars!

I was hoping to get a mini-trampoline that would hold up to my wife''s daily 1 hour 30 minute exercise program. My wife weighs 130 lbs and exercises to music regularly. This is probably the fourth attempt to find a quality product. The springs held up on the TKO model where other brands started breaking within the first month of use. The TKO trampoline developed one problem within the first month of use. The stitching around the straps for the mesh gave way in several places requiring re-stitching with dental floss. The worst problem was the welds started to break after about three months of use around the feet and two of them actually bent because the metal frame cracked. I had to bend the legs back in place and mig weld them, hence my rating.

Livestrong® LS8.0E Elliptical

Livestrong® LS8.0E EllipticalI have to say this is an incredible elliptical for the price, not to mention it''s very eye catching and appealing compared to other ellipticals. This thing is a beast in a good way the quality of this elliptical if very sturdy and powerful. It took my husband an hour to an hour & a half to carry everything up and put together himself. I''ve gone through 100''s of elliptical reviews, charts, reading materials I narrowed it down between the Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer and this one for weeks with a budget of $750 max (also had a gift card). I did my research and glad I went with the heavier 23 lb flywheel over the 14 lb flywheel the Horizon one had. I also did consider the Livestrong LS 10E & LS 13E for a little more money, but for the price this one was just as good as the more expensive ones. But really the only differences were the power inclines and USB plug-ins. Those are things I can do without, I don''t mind manual adjusting the incline or looking up my own workout plans, the higher Livestrong ones above this had bells and whistles that I didn''t need. The only thing I think is the calorie estimating is a little off I think as I feel I''m burning way more calories and I know at the gym I burn way more for the distance & time I do. But this is way better than the ones at my gym and feels to be a way better workout (I purchased this since my gym membership expires at the end of the month & decided not to renew it). I also have a high quality semi-recumbrent exercise bike that I am doing also with this at home & running outside I''ve been doing the bike in between the burns of this elliptical. Also Amazon customer service has been fantastic with this purchase, couldn''t have asked for better, free shipping & no sales tax, saved me a bundle than if I bought this at my local sports store. I would highly recommend it for the price, it''s definitely worth more!

I''ll get into the plusses and negatives for this machine. The negatives werent much of an issue for me, but for some they might be. I spent a few months reading reviews and just bouncing it back and forth in my head on what to get. I hate buyers remorse and do whatever I can to avoid it. I do not have it with this machine.

First off, I had narrowed it down to this or the Sole brand. There were a few other brands I was interested in, but I immediately ruled out anything I didn''t have hands on access to and went to two different stores to compare the Sole and Livestrong just in case one was wasn''t noticeably defective. Now between this and the Sole e25, the Sole is a nice looking machine, the display is prettier and actually shows graphics for your workout and more display options. The reason I ruled it out was the resistance. The e25 has 20 resistance levels compared to the 8.0e''s 16, yet the e25 at 20 was easier than the 8.0 at 8. Like I said, I compared the units side by side at two different stores and even the more expensive models, the resistance on the Sole''s are weak and I would too easily max it out and be wanting for more. Now comparing the different Livestrong models. My price range was under $1k so I was closely considering the 10.0e. The only real differences I noticed was that the 10.0 has the motorized incline as opposed to the manual, the pedals have a rubber padding, it has the USB drive for updating the firmware and using the workout tracking and such, there is a few more display options and 3 more programmed workouts and 20 resistance levels instead of 16. For me those are all non-issues and didnt justify the price difference, the function is exactly the same. The 13.0 has some nice features, but was more than I wanted to spend.

Onto the positives. This machine is pretty easy to assemble. From setting it down downstairs and carrying it up piece by piece to the upstairs bedroom, to taking out the last piece of trash, it took me right at an hour and a half. The instructions are good, and the parts are laid out in an organized manner.

The machine is solid, I''ve only used it a few times, but maxxed it out at 11.8 mph, no rocking, squeeks, or other noises that there shouldn''t be. Only the whirring of the flywheel, which isnt even as loud as the fan on max. Speaking of which, the fan is decent, I only use it during the cooldown though and it felt pretty good.

There is a spot to place a book, ipad, or whatever you want and there is a pocket for an mp3 player. It looks like it might be an ipod dock, but it is just a holder, they include an aux cable to go from your mp3 layer to the sound input though. The speakers are decent. I only tested it for a few minutes though, it''s in the bedroom and I just put the TV on. There is also a headphone jack that I find pointless. Anything you can plug an aux cable into will take a set of headphones so why use the elliptical as a middle man for your sound.

As far as the negatives, the only ones I really have deal with the display and electronics and none of them are really an issue to me. The display is pretty basic, there are three different LCD displays. One displays Time or Calories, the middle one shows Speed or Watts, the right one shows Distance or Heart Rate. Time, theres no way to mess that up. Calories, not sure how accurate it is but seems low. Would be more accurate if you could put in age and weight. The elliptical I use at the gym, it shows around 200 calories after 12 minutes, thise one was just shy of 200 at 20 minutes. I don''t really go by Watts or a precise speed but if you do, this isnt the machine you want. The speed goes in increments of .5 or .6, for instance I usually go around 7mph, in that range this goes from 6.3 to 6.9 to 7.5. So if you want to hit and stay at a steady pace, this doesnt work very well. As for the distance and Heart Rate. The distance seems close, if maybe a little high. I usually do an 8 minute mile and this had me at around a 7 minute mile. Lastly the heart rate monitor. If you plan on using your arms on the handles, the H/R sensors are almost useless. It defaults to 70 BPM and resets to that if you hands are off the sensors for 4 seconds. Add that to the fact that it takes 1-2 minutes for it to acquire your heart rate, slowly climbing from 70 every time and it''s pretty much useless unless you hold the sensors the whole time. I havent read all the instructions yet so I don''t know if theres a way to recalibrate it or anything, it doesnt really matter to me though. As long as the time and the resistance works, my body tells me how I''m doing and I don''t pay much attention to the rest. Some people are different, my wife needs to be told exactly what and how she''s doing so she doesnt like that aspect of it. A non issue for me and not a deal breaker for her.

Bottom line is, this is a pretty well built and solid machine. It does everything I need it to do for a good price. Another thing of note, the warranty is non transferrable which is something to consider if your considering looking on Craigslist or someplace. It has to be registered within 30 days or purchase and proof of purchase has to be kept for warranty concerns.

I have owned several machines. This one is by far the best. Assembly was easy. Took about an hour, but when assembling you realize this is a sturdy machine. Using it the first few times it showed ot me the most important aspect: a solid machine, well built and seemingly to last a long time. Several different programs and resistance levels. You can do manual incline which is no problem, you just hop off and increase incline and get back on. No longer than taking a water break. Nice touch having the aux input and holder for an MP3 player. Speakers are adequate, but who really cares as you could just wear your headphones. Calorie counter, heart rate monitor are all adequate, but you can wear the machine out for quite a while and only burn 200 calories. But all that considered, it is very smooth. Easy to use and quiet. Great machine.

The Pros: The design of the footbeds and stride is ergonomic and I have no joint pain when using it. The levels have sufficient range for absolute beginners to pretty fit people to get a good, safe workout. When working it was very quiet (must have a gym mat).'''' Having an elliptical at home is the best.

The cons: There are constantly major things wrong with it (3 service calls in 5 months) and I had it professionally delivered and installed. I am 110 lbs and the only person who uses it. It has now been out of use 10% of the time I have had it. The bolts/bearings on the pivot arm were broken, the flywheel belt and now the flywheel itself. Customer service is disorganized and slow to respond. They have many subcontractors all over who do the fixing and the level of compentency is very variable (2 out of 3 very poor). I would never buy this again nor would I recommend it. Check out reviews from Dicks Sporting goods and other sites. The longevity of this machine is not good and the quality is variable poor. 800$ is a lot of money to spend on 200lbs of something that I can''t use.

Helpful Info about ellipticals in general: You should be aware that ellipticals weigh ~ 200 lbs. You should not only measure length and width at the base to see if it fits in your space, but the height (low ceiling basements will not work with a tall person). Also the area around the machine how much room you want to the walls. I have a small space, but I wanted to be able to use weights to do upper body, so you need more arm spread .

226lbs Extreme Resistance Band Set for Men and Women. Jumbo Model 701 With D.L.T (Double Dipped Latex Tubes)DVD And O-8 Shaped included.

226lbs Extreme Resistance Band Set for Men and Women. Jumbo Model 701 With D.L.TDVD And O-8 Shaped included.I bought this set for my son who is on the varsity crew at college, he has been doing P90X for a long time with dumb bells but was looking for something more convenient to travel with, after a lot of research i got him this set for Christmas, rather than buying an expensive set i decided to go inexpensive and i am so glad i did, this set is awesome, my son loves the speed in which he can change the resistance. we like them so much i''m buying another set for me.

Update: as of this date (3/14/2013) still going strong

I was hesitant to purchase exercise bands (I prefer free weights at the gym), but I am doing P90X at home. It didn''t make sense for me to purchase a ton of free weights, so I purchased these as an alternative. I am very happy with my choice.

First why I like the exercise bands themselves for those of you not sure about trying bands. They are incredibly versatile with this set, you have enough resistance to range from approx 5 or 8lbs to about 50lbs. P90X, in particular, demonstrates how to use the bands as an alternative to free weights. I never really thought to use bands before, but they are just as effective, if not more, and a lot easier to travel with and store. A good suggestion I learned from P90X is that instead of changing the band color for more or less resistance, you can shorten or lengthen the loop you stand.

Now my thoughts on this particular set: I like this set because it includes the ankle straps (haven''t used yet) and the door connector (excellent for doing a modified pull-up...well, pull-down), as well as a weight chart and travel bag. Another reason I went with this set was that I thought I may want to double up bands to offer differing resistance. This set allows you to clip on more than one band at a time to the handles. I have not done this yet, and am not sure if I even will. I am so far doing well with adjusting the loop of the bands to increase resistance. There are additional moves that might benefit from doubling up bands if loops won''t work...but I haven''t gotten there yet.

The handles are durable and cushy, yet easy to grip. The straps can rub/scratch your wrists from certain angles, but that is kind of the case with most bands. I have seen other handles that are just one piece with no strap, so I am guessing those aren''t as bad. I guess that just comes with the territory of choosing bands vs free weights.

I am overall very happy with the purchase they are light, easy to store, incredibly versatile, and durable. My only thought is that I should have gone with a set with a different handle. Not a huge concern though.

Buy 226lbs Extreme Resistance Band Set for Men and Women. Jumbo Model 701 With D.L.T (Double Dipped Latex Tubes)DVD And O-8 Shaped included. Now

Everything works fine, however, there is NO WAY they give you the resistance specified in the description. Id guess maybe 1/2 of what they state. I have been using the 3 hardest bands together, and noticed that the bands become less resistant over time. Like streching a balloon before blowing it up. The bands appear to be good quality, and I never fear i''d break them. I have a feeling I will need more bands soon to increase the weight. FYI Im a muscular 150 lbs. With that said, there is no way I am doing 226lbs of resistance.

Update 11/21/12 Well I have been using these for over a year. I got alot of use out these bands. But now the handles are starting to rip on the outside from all the stress I put these through. After the initial streching of the bands, they do appear to become less resistant, but that seems to have now plattoed. I plan on purchasing another set soon. I have changed my initial rate from 3 to 4 stars.

These bands seem to hold up well to long term use and the attachments are nice, the only problem I have is that I am using them with P90X and they don''t provide enough resistance without grouping them together, to simulate pull ups I put all the bands together and could still use more resistance, but by doing that it seems to work well, just be prepared to modify how you use the bands because in most cases using 1 by itself wont provide enough resistance.

These bands are identical to the first five bands (color and weight wise) as the Crossfit #7 by Body Bands. They''re not super strong, but they''re reasonable for people who are trying to familiarize themselves with the basic rudiments of resistance bands. It comes with a much better clip system than the cheaper gym323 set, and better door anchors. I''m going to give what I consider to be stretching for distance comfort levels. Meaning: How far the band feels like it can stretch before it might break. These are straight line pulls, one end clipped to a stable source then slowly pulling the other end attached to a handle. YELLOW and BLUE about 12 feet, RED about 11 feet, and GREEN and BLACK about 9 feet. So just to close. If you''re going to get one of the GYM323 Sets, get this one.
