KAVU Men''s Chilli Lite Short

I bought these because I have a difficult time finding shorts that I like that fit well and are durable. I prefer the older, above the knee style, but not short shorts. I''m about 6 foot tall, 210 pounds, and the size large fit me pretty close to perfectly. They appear to be very durable, so I''m expecting them to last awhile with regular wear for work and play.

I might have rated these shorts at 4 except for a couple of things:

THEY COST TOO MUCH. This is one of the pricier pairs I looked at.

They are slightly bunched up in the crotch area, which appears (to me) to be just part of the design. I don''t think it really detracts from their overall appearance, and its not uncomfortable, but I can feel it.

The rear pockets are huge, and bottom out at the hemline. So if you carry a wallet there, as I do, its going to slip down behind your thigh.

All that said, I bought 1 pair and liked them enough to order a couple more. Given the price, they better last...

as the title says, these are great all around shorts. they''re well constructed and, unlike a trend towards below the knee shorts, these are actually shorts in the sense that i remember them as a teenager in the mid 80s. they aren''t cheaply made and they aren''t exactly cheap in cost either. one important caveat is that the sizes seem to run rather small. i bought a large pair. while they fit me just fine (i''m a 34" to 36" waist), i wouldn''t have much room to ''grow'' with these. not a big deal, per se'' but certainly something worth knowing in advance if you happen to be on the larger side of large.
