First off let me say I saw the problems that people described while putting this thing together and I had no trouble getting around them. In fact I took notes so I could post here tips for putting it together.
TIPS:
1) Skip step 4 of the instructions this is where you make the two bolts not line up. You can and should do step 4 last.
2) Do not tighten anything until everything is together. The reason being is if you try to tighten it during assembly you will end up with uneven bars ( like I did but I fixed it)
3) when it is all together put the bar up side down on a hard flat surface, This will get the bars square
4) now tighten the bolts from the top down (with it upside down you are starting with the straight bar that is normally the bottom.
Being a perfectionist I got mine perfect and then learned that not a single doorway in my house is even, but it''s all plenty good enough. I feel this is a fantastic product I have been using it all day.
Sadly I don''t think I will be able to use my arms tomorrow :)

Surprised at the size of tubes used, very strong design compared to others that are out there. However, after I started assembling the chin up bar half of the parts did not align. I was able to correct these issues by redrilling some of the holes, although the assembly is still uneven. Tried it in the doorway, besides the issue of being uneven it''s a solid product.Read Best Reviews of GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station Here
Works great. Solid. Most importantly it has a couple of adjustable options to enable it to fit virtually all doors. Other brands didn''t fit in our door due to it being slightly too deep (I would''ve thought it was a standard sized frame) and it sounds like this is a common problem. After owning for little over 4 months and using maybe twice a week, this thing is falling apart. The grips are deteriorating, there is red paint marks on my door, and one of the bolts snapped out of the nut...
This thing sucks, going to try to get a warranty return.
