The Resistance Band Workout Kit- For Men. Featuring The Resistance Band Workout Deck. By Eduardo Dias.

The Resistance Band Workout Kit- For Men. Featuring The Resistance Band Workout Deck. By Eduardo Dias. The product arrived cracked on one of the band''s hooks. We saw the crack and poked it. The hook broke completely off. We returned it with no problems what so ever, great seller.

We did not get replacements of the same product. We went to another site and bough bands with metal hooks.

I had been working out with a resistance band kit that I had won at a golf outing. It was cheap, but easy to throw in my duffel, when on the road. Anyway, it wore out pretty soon, and I wanted something a little more substantial. I like to work out at home, because unless the gym is close enough to walk to, I''ll stop going eventually. I read user reviews on this workout kit, and decided to buy it. I am VERY happy with it. I like the workout deck, which allows you to use only the cards you want, for the workout level you''re at. Of course, the prescribed exercises are pretty easy to remember, after a few days, but it''s very convenient nonetheless. I''m starting at the beginning level, as the lowest resistance band in this set is much tougher than the cheap set I was using, and I''m already getting good results in just a couple of weeks. This kit is also very easy to travel with, so I don''t have to skip workouts if I go out of town. Overall, this kit seems very well made, and I anticipate that I''ll get a lot of use out of it.

I travel quite a bit, so I thought I would try out the bands and the deck. I like to continue to exercise on the road, as I do in the gym when I''m home. This kit fit the bill perfectly. The items themselves are well made and durable and the workout routine is on target. I found myself following the routine easily and I learnd along the way, which has enhanced my workout. It''s something anyone can do. I''ve even starting using the kit at home for when I can''t get away to the gym.

I ordered this from Amazon. In one day after placing the order I got an e mail from Show me the Fitness saying my order was being processed by Amazon, but I could contact them if I had any problems or questions about the product. They also offered me a free cardo program. Nice touch.

Then the product arrived. Just as described. The bands were nice and came with a little pamphlet explaining how to hook up the bands to the handles, how to use the door anchor, safety tips, etc.

But the best happened in a few weeks, when one of the bands actually broke! I was disappointed because they seemed nice, so I e mailed Show me the Fitness and told them my band had broken.

On the same day I got the following e mail:

We received an e mail from Amazon about a broken resistance band on the resistance band kit that you purchased less than a month ago.

We apologize about that.

The bands are of very high quality, but as with any mass produced product, you are bound to run into a few defects every now and then.

Please let us know which one was it (what color) and we will send you a new one.

Take care,

Eduardo Dias.

In three days I got a new band! It is good to know that there are companies that still believe in good customer service and stand by their products.

A great piece of equipment from a superb company. Recommend it 100%.

I ordered the resistance band deck a while back and I''m definitely happy with the results. I do a lot of travel, and Eduardo''s regiment (along with the bands themselves) has allowed me to work out on the road without a gym. All you really need is a door! I love that the cards are simple to follow and ringed, so I don''t lose them (as I tend to do).

I researched the exercises in the deck and found that Eduardo really knows his stuff. It works all of your major muscle groups (arms and legs).

Seriously, I can''t believe how much of a burn I feel after only a couple minutes (and I''m only on two bands at a time!).

Buy it. You will not regret it.

New Balance Women''s Short Sleeve Tech Tee

New Balance Women''s Short Sleeve Tech TeeI really like this t-shirt. The sizing is accurate, the material feels nice and the t-shirt looks nice. Also I love that it dries very quickly so it is perfect for working out. The bottom of the shirt is not straight but oval shaped, so it helps cover the back better when biking for example. Finally It is close fitting in the waist which is an advantage in comparison to just regular shaped straight t-shirt because it does not hide the curves of the body.

Perfect fit, very comfortable while working out. It is one of my favorites, not to tight and goes with all my pants

Supermats 50-Inch x 60-Inch Home Gym Mat

Supermats 50-Inch x 60-Inch Home Gym MatSmaller and thinner than I expected. I have it for my free weights. Had to buy a carpet pad to put under it. I use it in my basement and had it on the concrete floor. Not thick enough to protect the floor from getting cracked if I dropped the weight on it. It''s ok, but I''m sure there are better

Good solid quality. I have my treadmill on it. The mat protects my carpet and it cleans easily. Good investment at a decent price.

I found two of these mats to be more than adequate for my admittedly small home gym, consisting of PowerBlock weights with stand, an adjustable bench, small recumbent bike, Swiss ball, and dip stand. The nonslip surface is nice when you''re doing push-ups. The mats are not cushioned, but for my purposes that is not a defect. Delivery was prompt.

VERY happy with this mat. Perfect size for my Bowflex! Half the price of what Bowflex sells... (That''s a lot to pay for a logo).

I purchased this mat for a home gym to sit atop, it fit nicely, is heavy duty and holds the weight of the user and the machine without any problem. On carpet I put 3/4" plywood underneath and layed the mat on top then put the weight machine...It is perfect and super duty as it claims. 5 Stars for this product.

Height - Adjustable Step

Height - Adjustable StepDoes everything I need it to do. The step is adjustable. Able to change the height for various exercises or level of dificulty. The step is smaller than I visualized but still gets the job done. I use it in a personal training environment. Not sure how it would work for a group class with bigginers as the size of step is smaller than most group class steps I have seen.

When on earth are Motorola actually going to fix the TERRIBLE web site they call it "the Portal".

It is buggy at best and every time they "fix" one thing it breaks two existing things.

At the moment, no route maps have been shown for over a month. Nothing has been done and the numerous complaints on the forums and on facebook and direct to Customer Service have all been ignored or fobbed off.

The thing with the MotoActv is that you''re stuck with the terrible "portal" because you can''t get at YOUR data unless you first upload it to their portal.

Then it''s possible to export a very limited, and often faulty, amount of data as a .csv file. No intervals, laps etc..

So.. Matt, as you seem to have deserted the forums.. are you prepared to answer in here? What''s going on? Why the big price drop? Why is the forum being ignored? Why all the problems on the "portal"????

Buy Motorola MOTOACTV 8GB GPS Sports Watch and MP3 Player Now

I purchased the 8GB version of this product from Amazon in December 2011. I consider myself an early adopter. In the beginning, Motorola was very proactive at helping with problems on the device. Specifically, the major problems I have deal with the web portal...the device itself has had some minor quirks but nothing that is a show stopper. I helped Motorola troubleshoot problems with the website up until mid-January. After that, everything worked relatively nicely until early July 2012...about 6 months of the device doing what it was supposed to do. I have not been able to view any of my workouts (even the old ones) since mid-July. I reported this problem to Motorola tech support...they created a ticket and then unilaterally cancelled it. They sent me an e-mail saying the problem was solved when in fact the problem was not solved. I have posted on the Motorola forums. It took weeks to get a Motorola employee to respond to the complaints regarding this issue (I am not alone with it). They still have not proposed a fix. Anytime I do a workout with music (the primary reason I bought this device was so I could have the MP3 player and GPS in one device) I get a message that the website is "unable to process the request". I listen to music during the vast majority of my workouts. The fact that Motorola has cut the price of the device by nearly 50% does not give me confidence that they will continue to support it...it actually makes me think that they are dumping it. The Motorola website is the ONLY way to get your data out of this device. There is no option of directly retrieving your workout data via USB to your computer. Right now, the only thing the device is useful for is playing music (with less functionality than my ipod) and telling me how far I have run. I cannot use the data the device is collecting to assist me with increasing my fitness level and tailoring my workouts. I''m really not sure why Motorola won''t fix the website...they are not providing answers either through tech support or via their forums. The failure of Motorola to launch the wireless headphones/heartrate sensor that they were promising when I originally purchased this device was a huge disappointment, but the inability to get my workout data is a showstopper. If I could return this device to Amazon at this point, I would. Do not purchase this if you want to view your workout data.

I''ve had a MOTOACTV for almost 3 months now, and I''m happier with it than I ever expected to be. I had arthroscopic knee surgery 4 months ago, and my surgeon recommended bicycling as therapy for my knee. When I was clear to start riding, I bought a new bike and a MOTOACTV with Motorola''s heart rate sensor, bike speed/cadence sensor, and bike mount.

I''ve racked up 650 miles since then, and lost around 25 lbs. Part of that is because I really, *really* want to lose weight and get my knee back into shape, but the MOTOACTV has been a huge help. I''m able to track distance and speed for each ride and see my progress, and I''m the sort of person that this sort of thing really motivates. I''m now cycling daily and getting in around 100 miles per week, and feel like cycling and exercise is a comfortable new part of my life. I''ve went from almost completely sedentary to reasonably fit (if still overweight), and I feel like it''s a permanent change, not just a hobby that I''m going to drop when circumstances make me miss a few days.

There are a number of similar devices on the market from Garmin and other manufacturers, as well as phone apps+dongles that can accomplish most of the same things, but for my uses, the MOTOACTV has the best mix of features of anything on the market. Specifically:

The battery lasts for 6-8 hours of active use, or around 2 days of use as a pedometer. Most fitness phone apps that I''ve seen will kill phones in way less time.

It syncs over WiFi, so I don''t have to drag it back to a computer to sync. If I''m not in a hurry to look at results, then I can just wait and it''ll sync on its own every few hours. If I want to look at the results, then ''sync now'' is only a couple button presses away.

It charges over microUSB, so I don''t need to bring Yet Another Charger when I''m traveling.

It''s flexible about how you wear it. You can put it on the big, chunky watch band, or clip it to your belt, or put it on the bike mount, or even shove it in a pocket. I''ve done all of those at different times.

The combination of these mean that the MOTOACTIV has the least *friction* of any fitness device that I''ve used. It Just Works--I don''t have to worry about charging it, or conserving power, or syncing it, or anything. I just plug it into my phone charger every now and then, and it''s good.

Now, it''s not perfect. It''s Motorola''s first attempt at a fitness device, and there are a few weird issues with it. It''s not as waterproof as it should be, the battery doesn''t last long enough for an all-day bike ride, syncing is kinda slow (it syncs ~30 minutes of data per minute, so a 2 hour ride is going to take several minutes to sync). The UI is a bit odd sometimes. The screen can only show duration + distance + 4 other variables at a time while biking, so I can''t show speed, elevation, cadence, time-of-day, calories burned, and heart rate all at once. It''ll sync with Android phones natively, but not iPhones. But, all in all, I''m really happy with it. Motorola has kept pushing out substantial software updates about once per month, and each one adds a feature or two and fixes a bunch of known bugs.

I''m happy enough with it that I''m tempted to buy a second one and keep it as a reserve--if I ever lose or break the first one, then I won''t miss a day or two''s worth of exercise data. I''ve lost a couple fitbits over the past two years, and it''s been really demoralizing, even if I find them eventually.

I rarely write reviews but I think that this unit gets a lot of unfair criticism. I''ve owned the unit for 4 months now and have been quite pleased. First and foremost the support for this is excellent. Despite what other people may be writing there have been 3 firmware updates in the four months and each update has brought notable improvements and added new features. The website has also undergone several improvements as well during that time. Eventually, I think this will evolve into a awesome device. That being said its not perfect. As a background I''m a casual runner (5mi runs) and play a fair amount of golf as well as volleyball, cycling etc

Pro

1. Constant firmware updates and continued support. This can''t be understated. 1mo or so firmware cycles are pretty swift for a general consumer device.

2. Excellent golf GPS. The watch updates every 3 seconds. You need to stand over your ball for 3 seconds to get an accurate distance but as long as you do that you are accurate to within a yard or 2. You get distance to hazards which the lower end garmins etc do not give you. You also get the ability to track your game. From average distance for each club to fairways and green hit to number of putts. You can really break down your game and distance (provided you enter the information when you play). There are something like 20,000 courses and it has all the myrtle beach courses I''ve played

3. Bluetooth capability Once you''ve worked out without the wires you can never go back. You can also get text and phone notifications but I found them annoying

4. Excellent workout tracking and GPSThe device gets quick GPS lock (usually about 15-30 sec for me) and doesn''t lose the lock in my area. I have been in a couple of heavily forested areas and did lose signal there. Planned routes work fine. Note to the earlier reviewer if you select the "follow roads option" it will follow on the roads otherwise it assumes you are doing a cross country route and will just connect your waypoints.

5. World maps. Took a jog in Italy and the streets are all there. Its also great for tracking your travels. I went to Europe recently and all my travels were mapped out on the portal. How many times did I go around the coliseum. Looks like 3. You can annotate your workouts so its like a personal travel journal.

6. Rapid charging. It takes around an hour to fully charge.

7. MP3 player. Nice little music player that holds 16GB of music. Good for trips and workouts. Has playlists and will display album art. If you could make you own playlists on the device it would be perfect as it is you need to sync up with itunes

8. Lots of info especially for the casual athlete. I got the heart rate monitor and I really like being able to put myself in various zones for interval training or endurance. It will give you verbal coaching (basically a voice over the headphones saying you are going too slow or too fast) so you don''t need to keep looking at the watch.

+/-

1. Battery lifeI personally have used it marathon mode all day to track my vacations and can easily play a round of golf (I usually have 60% battery after a 4-5hour round). That being said if you are doing ten hour rides or a full iron man it may not last which is unacceptable in the middle of training/race since you can''t charge it (it does charge fast). If you are en elite endurance athlete or ultra marathoner this is probably not for you. I wear as a watch all day to count my steps/cal and it can go 2 days without charging but not much more

2. LooksI don''t care much for the bulky look but I do get a lot of comments about it and people are always wondering what it does

3. Sweat/rainproof but not waterproofIt would be nice to be able to swim with this watch especially as they have waterproof HR monitors

Cons

1. Web portalmotoactv only syncs with the web portal. You can get the raw data and send it someplace else from there but you can''t skip the portal. The portal is also very slow, particularly if your using an ipad. This can be frustrating especially when you want to go back to a more remote round of golf or workout. This is a big con since you need to do everything through the portal. I''m not micro analyzing my workouts but if I was this would probably be a deal breaker. Its that slow.

2. Can''t view data when paused This is a frequent complaint on the forums and I can''t figure out why they haven''t addressed this. Not being able to check your pace etc when paused makes planning very difficult

I have to strongly recommend against the MotoACTV for any real runners out there.

Personally I really like the device, except for one very fatal flaw:

from

"What type of damages are not covered by my warranty?

Damage and/or performance issues that result from contact with any liquid, water, rain or extreme humidity are excluded from warranty coverage.

Motorola will not repair or replace liquid-damaged products. They will be returned unrepaired."

I''ve had great battery life, run 17 miles with it, kept the screen on the whole time (running in predawn hours it''s fantastic not having to find a light button) and had over 40% battery when done. The GPS quality is very good, usually less than 30 seconds or so to locking. I don''t use the MotoACTV website, as I have a script that automatically grabs the data and converts it ready to post to runkeeper (or any other decent site) and I''m working on a way to automate that completely.

But...

During my first 12 mile run with the MotoACTV my "music" button got stuck on, and I couldn''t navigate away from the music menu. Ok, I disabled the music button. Next run Volume UP got stuck. Disabled that. Then the "back" button on the screen became flaky. Sent it in for repairs, got it back a little more than a week later. First run with it (15 miles) was fantastic. Next run my HR strap quit connecting. Next run same. Next run (17 miles) the "back" button on the screen kept getting triggered, and it self-navigate back to the main watch page. I couldn''t tap the screen fast enough to get the workout page back up fast enough to see how far I''d run. Very frustrating. Of course the "workout" button had stopped working so I couldn''t just press it to get back, and there was no way to stop the workout in the end except turn off the MotoACTV.

So I have now disabled volume up, music, and mapped volume down to workout, and it is still totally unusable after a few miles.

I''m sure all of this is because I have the audacity to sweat while I''m working out.

So Friday my Garmin 910 is arriving and my MotoACTV will be a very cute little paper weight.

Theragear Pilates Mini Ball, Purple, 9 Inch

Theragear Pilates Mini Ball, Purple, 9 InchI was told several years ago to do crunchs for the never ending lower back pain that I have been experiencing for years. Well doing crunches flat on the floor was very uncomfortable, which made it harder for me to want to do them. Then I found the pilates ball, and all the neck strain that goes with regular crunches does not exisit when doing crunches with the ball just below the curve of the lower back.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. This 9" ball is the right size for doing crunches comfortably. The ball is made out of a material that sticks to the floor and doesn''t roll around) as you workout. This product was priced well and delivered quickly.

This ball is great. I had relatively strong abs but not really any definition. I need to do at least 100 situps before I can feel the burn and that takes a lot of time and is uncomfortable. With the ball I do less sit-ups and my abs are becoming more defined. I don''t use it all the time so I can''t attest to weight loss, but it does work well on your abs for definition.

I thought it was hype. Well, I was wrong! Had and used product less than a week & I can see, plus, feel the results. I weighed 250#, plus, I have lower back problems and I could use the ball. I couldn''t do my normal sets of 25 crunchs with the ball, so I broke them down into sets of 10.

My wife likes the way my 6-pack is coming back, so she has taken to using the ball. In our book it''s keeper. Will probably buy another because this ball is getting so much use.

Update (5/10/09):

I still have the original ball. After awhile the mini ball will slowly lose air but I just pump it back up where it is comfortable for me. With the help of this mini ball, exercise & a relistic diet, I went from a 46" waist to a 38" waist. Seriously! My wife no longer uses the ball but when she did her waist started to shrink. Thank you.

ProForm GR 80 Recumbent Exercise Bike

ProForm GR 80 Recumbent Exercise BikeMy doctor finally told me that I needed to lose weight...now! My achy, arthritic knees pretty much narrowed my choices down to a bike or water aerobics, and I don''t see myself going to the pool every day, so I researched recumbent bikes. I purchased this bike because the price was good, and it looked sturdy enough. After one month, I can tell my legs are stronger. I hardly wear a knee brace at all. Plus, I''ve lost nine pounds.

This bike was extremely easy to assemble and doesn''t take up as much room as I thought it would. It is very quiet, even when I use the fan. It is also easy to adjust. The seat is comfortable and it''s not too difficult to get on or off the bike. I''ve played with the resistance levels a bit, and like it that I''ll be able to add extra challenge to my workout as I get more fit.

An added bonus for me is that the bottom of the display has just enough of a lip on it to support a book so I can read while I ride.

Actually ordered this from Sears and picked it up at the store, to avoid any shipping issues. Easy set up in about 1 hour clear instructions. Did first 40-minute ride and it was smooth and very quiet we''ll see how it lasts. I''m 5''2'''' luckily it''s adjustable past the markers on the frame, I had to go beyond the lowest setting. I like this because it''s not too bulky and doesn''t look too cheap. Gave 4 not 5 stars b/c I''ve only done one ride :)

Buy ProForm GR 80 Recumbent Exercise Bike Now

As others have noted, the bike was not horribly bad to put together (an extra set of hands for putting on the seat would have helped-geez). The grinding, scraping noise began for me the very first time I rotated the pedals. Amazing.

So, me having invested 2 hours wrestling with this thing to get it to work at all, and not thrilled at the prospect of disassembling it all and shoving it back in the box for return, I decided to use my mechanical inclination and take the housing apart and carefully figure it out myself rather than send it back. It does say in the instruction manual how to do this yourself (in very small print). I found that the resistance was out of adjustment and followed the instructions on how to get it right. It took me a bit, but I got it!

After that, the bike worked great, BUT I should not have had to spend my own time adjusting a delicate mechanism that should have worked at the start. Very time intensive.

But, it works fine now, speed is great, all seems accurate (except the heart rate monitor--it''s way out of wack, but I don''t expect much accuracy in that department in an inexpensive bike).

All in all? If I had known I''d have to do all I have just to get it to work, I''d definitely pass. Unless you are mechanically inclined and have a LOT of patience, or want to go through the hassle of contacting and waiting on the company to act, I''d look for a different bike.

This is probably the best you can do with a recumbent bike in this price range. It''s a really good little bike with just enough features for anyone who wants to get regular exercise. The operation is quiet and smooth, and the display is very easy to use. My only small complaint is that the heart rate monitor is a little sensitive, and tends to get an incorrect read occasionally. It usually corrects quickly, but sometimes the resistance is raised or dropped incorrectly. Assembly requires two people, which is a little inconvenient, but other than being a bit awkward it was pretty manageable.

I''d definitely recommend this bike to anyone who wanted a recumbent but didn''t want to shell out a huge chunk of money. When I bought this I wasn''t sure how much use I would get out of it, so I didn''t want to put a huge amount of money. As it turns out, I''m getting a lot of use from it, and the bike is absolutely paying for itself.

Fairly simple to assemble. Weighs a good amount (About 100 pounds). So was a little difficult to get the box upstairs initially. The wheels make it very easy to move around once put together. The bike is pretty compact if you need it to be. The seat and seat back seem like they would be the most likely part(s) to break. Not that they will, but I worry about it. I doubt they would hold the weight of the device if you were to move it by putting pressure on the seat or the seat backing. For something that cost this much I would think they would have made that part a little more heavy duty. Overall a great buy though. Just make sure to buy a battery charger and rechargeable D batteries (Since it does not come with any in the box).

Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker

Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker, BlueI have had the original Fitbit for a couple of years, and I''ve always loved it. My ONLY complaint was having to turn on my computer to charge and synch it. In these days of tablets, I barely use my computer anymore, so it was irritating.

The Fitbit Zip solves these problems. No charging necessary except for changing out the battery now and then, and synching is awesome via Bluetooth straight to the Fitbit app on my iphone. No computer necessary now.

Do be aware that if you have been stationary for a while (watching TV for example), the Fitbit display goes to sleep, and synching may not work. But just tap the screen lightly and it will then wake up and synch.

Another thing I like, is that it isn''t even necessary to ever look at the Fitbit screen. I wear mine on my bra, so it can be inconvenient to check my data. But with the Zip, I don''t have to I just open the app on my phone, let it synch, and I have my information.

By the way I had no problems with the battery door. There is a little tool supplied with the Fitbit, and I suppose if you don''t use that you might break the tabs.

Well done, Fitbit.

(Updated Mar 7th 2013)

My life is 8+ hours on a desk every workday. I got a treadmill 6 months ago but find myself often with excuses not to stand on it but rather in front of the computer in my den most of the nights. I crossed shopped the Fitbit one and decided to buy a pair of this Fitbit Zip for me and wify two weeks ago. I got to say, this idea works wonders. Nothing motivates me better than keeping a little score of myself. Now I know I walk 4k~5k a day and I spend ~30 minutes everyday at home to walk that extra couple miles to get my 10k steps. Already lost 2 lbs. My wife hits almost 12k a day and I don''t know if I''m able to catch her soon.

Let me tell you why the Zip is perfect, rather than a pedometer, or the better Fitbit One model:

1. It IS a pedometer that is zero-maintenance! That is the single most important feature. It has no buttons and requires nothing from you other than keeping it on yourself. It auto-resets to zero at midnight and constantly syncs data online. Old school pedometers need to be reset and recorded manually, enough for lazy people like me to stay away.

2. It syncs with my iPhone 4s using the low-power Bluetooth 4.0 (by the way a very new, high-tech mode) about every 40 minutes or every time when I fire up the Fitbit app. Again nothing is needed from me. This single handedly beats all the Nike band, Jawbone Up or the old Fitbit where you need to plug in something to sync. One thing to note: the iPhone Fitbit app does not sync to the Fitbit Zip in the background by default, just remember to go into its settings and turn it on. When on, the app doesn''t need to be in the front. You don''t even see the Fitbit in the Bluetooth device list. Everything just works.

3. No charging cable. This is the key feature that makes me proud of my decision away from the Fitbit One. It''s just one less hassle to deal with, one less routine to remember to do. Being lazy as I am, I will probably forget to charge the Fitbit One''s rechargeable batteries every once in a while and grow excuse not to exercise. Again the CR2025 coin battery for the Zip lasts several months (not tested yet for obvious reasons but it''s still full after 2 weeks on mine) that''s basically forever in today''s tech gadget language. These batteries are $2 for a 5 pack on Amazon so cost isn''t an issue.

So all in all, Fitbit Zip is a glorified pedometer but one that can be clipped on and forgotten without any hassle of clicking, charging or syncing. It''s truly changed my lifestyle as a lazy person. Highly recommended.

Oh by the way, I don''t understand the negative reviews on the battery door: I opened and installed the battery on two Fitbit Zips within 3 minutes, using the provided tool (really a plastic quarter). No problem whatsoever. Could it be a bad batch of devices those people got?

March 7, 2013, update on battery life: it''s been exactly 4 months since beginning of December and one of our Fitbits shows the "Low Battery" sign today with a notification on the iphone as well. I looked up Fitbit''s website and this means it has 25% battery life left. A flashing battery sign will mean changing it immediately and I''ll wait till then to do it. This is after average use of 12k steps a day.

I remember the carefree days of the Tamogotchi, where a tiny LCD face told me about personal responsibility, and more importantly, the tragedy of neglect. Oh no, my tiny LCD creature is sickly, for I have forgotten to eliminate its foul, digital waste! Oh no, I have starved yet another ducklike beast near to death due to my incompetence as a plastic bauble owner.

The Fitbit Zip has many Tamogotchi-like qualities, with one major difference: when its simplified emoticon face shows disgust at you, it is because you have failed yourself.

Many a lazy Sunday have I woken up from a pleasing, decadent afternoon nap, to see the little guy judging me from his silicon throne: ":P" Oh god, I thought. I could have been wandering aimlessly around my house, probably between my couch and fridge.

And yet, post-workout, he feeds me his genuine, electronic glee at my activity: ":D" YES. Finally. The callous but potent validation that keeps me motivated to continue plodding through my otherwise dreary life.

Because I clip him to my bra strap, he is literally a demon that sits on my shoulder. One time, furious at his intercession in my otherwise sedentary lifestyle, I yelled, "Are you happy now, you little a**hole?" My boyfriend thought I was referring to him, and we had a fight. (-1 star.)

But seriously.

+ Good motivator, great online support.

+ I haven''t had the battery case problems reported elsewhere.

+ Convenient, and easy to remember to carry around.

Cat thinks it is a toy, sometimes steals it.

Registers steps accurately, but an hour of Zumba is disappointingly low compared to an hour of walking.

May cause internal strife at home.

I am new to Fitbit. My wife and I both picked them up and have been using them for a few days. So far I am happy with the product. It seems to log my steps accurately. I like the small size as its only about 50% larger than a quarter. This makes it extremely easy to wear and hide because after all I don''t want to advertise that I am wearing a very fancy pedometer.

The website and phone software are very well done. This is important as they are a big part of the product. I have an Android phone so my mobile app doesn''t sync with my Zip as of now but the feature is supposed to be on its way. Its really no issue as the sync software was easy to install and the USB dongle is easily left in the computer. My Zip just syncs automatically when I am near my computer and makes things quite convenient.

Battery Door:

I know there are many reviews about the door being fragile. I have not had this issue. I do notice that the color of the door doesn''t match the device very well. I am guessing that they may have addressed the issue with a new plastic. Please comment if your doors color is off and you have this issue.

"Touch Screen"

This one had me a little upset at first. I was trying to touch the screen to cycle the mode and had no success. The trick is it isn''t a touch screen device at all! This thing has a very accurate accelerometer in it. It is sensing a jolt not a touch. I have found a quick tap with a fingernail is the best way to cycle the modes. You can even just flick the side and it will cycle as well. This made the device usable don''t try to touch.

I am happy with the device/software. I can easily recommend this product to anyone looking to help them track progress or gain encouragement by competing with friends or earning badges.

I''ve been an on and off user of Fitbit''s gadgets for about four years now, and they''ve been really effective in motivating me to get outside and walk. For those unfamiliar with these wonderful trackers, Fitbit offers two options-the Fitbit Zip, a $60 LCD display tracker reminiscent of your latest Apple device that tracks steps, calories burned, and distance, or the Fitbit One, an all-in-one tracker that shows your steps, calories burned, stairs climbed, and can track your sleeping pattern through the included wrist band. Still available (surprisingly) is the good old Fitbit Ultra; the Ultra has the same features as the One, but is bit more prone to breaking (or so was my experience).

Fitbit also offers a free food tracking service when you buy any of its devices and I can happily report that it is very useful. You enter every bite of food or and sip of drink that passes your lips for the day and the program compares your calorie intake to the data your Fitbit device has collected to give you an allotted calorie amount for the day. When it''s used consistently, it''s a great tool, and Fitbit is working hard to improve their mobile app (it was previously nearly useless) and has added Bluetooth to the Zip and the One to synch with your iPhone or Android phone as you walk so you can see if that trip to the 99 is really worth it. You can choose from several programs to meet your goal weight. Easy, Kinda Hard, and Hard. They each demand varying amounts of calorie deficits from you-mix and match to find the program that suits you best.

Today I discovered, much to my horror, that I washed my Zip today because I had forgotten it was clipped to some jeans I wore over the weekend. I''ve killed no fewer than three Fitbit Ultra''s before so I sighed and prepared to dispose of my tiny buddy. To my happy surprise, I picked it up and was greeted with the Zip''s adorable LCD emoticon face that gets happier the more you exercise. It had survived! I can''t speak for the Fitbit One, but the Zip has a screw-on battery compartment on the back-the fact that it made it through a wash AND dry cycle is simply amazing to me. Maybe it''s a sign from the fitness gods that I need to get my butt off the computer and exercise more....

No matter how you slice it, the Fitbit is an affordable solution in the world of fitness trackers going for $150+. The trackers are cute and almost unnoticeable under a shirt so you won''t have to explain to your partner/family/coworkers what that wonky device you''re wearing is. If you use the nutrition service consistently I guarantee you will lose weight. The Zip''s LCD emoticon will make you smile after you''re kicking yourself for walking that last two miles, and the device itself has been beefed up to withstand some water and impact abuse.

PROS: Inexpensive. Tiny and well designed. Effective if used consistently.

CONS:Easy to lose, easy to wash! Difficult to remember to log your food over extended periods of time as device nor app remind you.

Tony Little''s Gazelle Freestyle Awesome Abs Workout (DVD)

This DVD was horrible, I purchased the DVD because I own a Gazelle. The title suggested it was a Gazelle workout, however, it consisted of Tony Little acting spastic at the beginning, and then progressing to crunches and various exercises. NOT A SINGLE WORKOUT ON THE GAZELLE. A horrible DVD.

Pearl Izumi Men''s Fly Intercool Singlet, White, X-LargeThis singlet is great for riding in hot weather. The bright color is also safer on the road. The only reason I didn''t give 5 stars is that it is a little too expensive for what it is.

I wore this for a Halloween half marathon. Very comfortable, high quality, and light weight. I''ll definitely wear this again for long runs.

Bosu 3D System Balance Trainer

Bosu 3D System Balance TrainerI have been kind of sick of my treadmill/free weight workouts so I decided to look for something new that was not expensive, quick and maybe even fun...ish!

So I found this Bosu trainer. I just finished the first workout and it was incredible...really good for working on balance, but you can hold on throughout! It works your core muscles without you having to do any crunches, situps or other ungodly manoever...I mean, I can feel my abs right now, but not in a bad way...just in a way that lets me know I exercised them. This thing does cardio, strength and you can also stretch on it...the DVD that''s included shows you how. For $114, I think this gives a lot of bang for the buck...and it feels very sturdy. Although it comes with a cheap pump, I had a bicycle pump that I blew it up with. So, for what it''s worth, I would highly recommend this.

We''ve looked at several of these models for awhile and finally settled on buying the Bosu 3D System Balance Trainer. Weighing in at 33lbs its more bulky then heavy. One thing for certain, its not going to be moved around a lot. After going through and deciphering the enclosed instruction manual, I felt a sigh of relief in knowing that my inventory of parts and hardware was complete. That said, I began the assembly process.

The first thing I noticed was that some of the screw holes located under the base were covered and could not be lined properly with the platform. I discovered that the rubber plates (used for vibration and weight distribution) were the culprit. No worries, I used a flathead screwdriver to pry the glue mounted plates and realigned them with the holes. I added just a dab of shop glue for extra measure. I did not run into any other problems with alignment. Total assembly time was about 20 minutes.

It goes without saying the included pump is worthless. I saved the valve head and tossed the rest of the unit. I used my portable compressor to inflate the ball. At 39" x 29" x 49" it does take up some real estate. We decided to place the Bosu Trainer in the corner of the garage in front of the tv/dvd player.

Once in place, the system works like a charm with no issues. Even the ball seems to hold up well and does not have to be filled as often. The ball is gym quality and should last a long time. The balance bar is steady and fully adjustable. The resistance trainer is mounted with comfortable hand grips and above average tubing.

For those new to Bosu, its not rocket science. Primarily it covers the basics for strengthening up and using targeted core muscle groups. The enclosed dvd offers a good basic workout program. The owners manual is packed with various work out programs, training tips, progression charts and of course, the assembly instructions. A separate nutrition and menu planning booklet is also enclosed with this system.

Even with its manufacturing issues, the quality of this particular model is above average. We are pleased with this unit and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a change up without gym membership fees. Its a low cost alternative to better health.

The Bosu Ball is a great training aid for developing balance and core strength. The addition of the base and support makes it much easier for someone without great balance to get started on the ball. I would happily have given it five stars if I hadn''t had to drill and file out the holes on the support brackets to make it fit. If my wife had wanted to put this together herself she could not have done so and would have had to sent it back.

The problem is in the location of the welded brackets. I understand the difficulty of doing the weld precisely, but clearly the manufacturer needs to improve their procedure. Until they do, I would not recommend anyone who is not prepared to do some non-trivial hole enlarging to buy the item as it must be just a matter of luck whether you get one that fits or one that doesn''t.

It''s a great package. Assembly wasn''t hard at all, and there are a lot of workout DVDs included. It''s surprising how intense the workout is I did the first cardio workout today and my heart was pounding after 15 minutes (in a good way). Perfect for anyone who wants to work out but isn''t a fan of gyms, especially in the winter when it''s no fun to jog or bike outside.

One drawback it''s not all that easy to store. I had hoped the 3D system would fold down or something similar to store away quickly, but that''s not the case. You can take off the top handles easily, but you''d still need a relatively large space to store the entire thing in. So, you may end up just leaving it fully assembled wherever you put it together. It''s not an eyesore exactly, but it''d be nice to have it disassemble a bit so it could fit under a bed or in a small space.

Overall, though, it''s a very good product and I think I''ll get more than my money''s worth out of it in exercise.

This Bosu in itself was used by my physical therapist because I needed help in regaining balance control. My walking was off balance due to a fall I had as well as a birth defect. She introduced me to this aparatus whic at first I was not confident that I could get on it and make it work with me. My PT then showed me how with er assistance. Pretty soon,I was on there and balancing myself just standing and quickly learned to balance myself without the support and spotting from my PT! I decided it would be a great way to practice at home and have a way to get exercise, too! After a few nights of web searching, I found this awesome deal with Amazon. It was to great of a deal to pass up! You will not find a better deal anywhere than Amazon for the Bosu 3 D System!

Ryka Women''s assist xt

Ryka Women''s Assisst XT Fitness Shoe,Grey/Dark Grey/Red,6.5 MI''ve had these Ryka XT Assist shoes for about three months now, and I just love them. I bought them to do a plyometric workout series (Beachbody''s Insanity series) that required a lot of jumping. My old Rykas weren''t cutting it (my arches were in terrible pain during each workout), so I purchased these and have been extremely happy. They are lightweight and comfortable, and provide really nice arch support.

These provide great arch support for lots of jumping, and also have a nice, wide base that provides good stability for weight-lifting. I''ve also been using these for step and kickboxing, and they work wonderfully well for those activities, too. They are a true cross-trainer!

The base of the shoe also bends nicely, allowing the forefront of your foot to bend easily when doing things like push-ups, where your foot is bent.

As for sizing, I always go a half-size up in my athletic shoes, and did the same in these. In regular shoes, I wear a 7 1/2, but I always buy an 8 in athletic shoes -and these in a size 8 were perfect for me. (With past pairs of Rykas, I''ve sometimes had to go up a whole size, but these seem to run a half-size smaller than regular sizing.)

I bought these in the gray and red color, and they look really nice, too.

This is the most comfortable workout shoe I''ve worn in recent years, and I''m definitely going to be buying a back-up pair!

UPDATE ON 3/5/10: I''ve been using these shoes since August five or six days a week for all of my workouts, and they are finally starting to give out a bit on the inside. I usually have to replace my workout shoes every six months or so, so these Rykas have held up really well. I love these so much that I am buying a new pair of them to replace the ones I bought last year.

UPDATE ON 3/2/11: Although I still really love these Ryka shoes and went through several pairs of them, I recently "upgraded" to the Asics Gel Intensity , and really like the Asics even more since the cushioning in the Asics is excellent. That being said, however, the Asics shoes are twice the cost of these Rykas. If you can afford the difference, though, and want lots of cushioning, I''d recommend trying the Asics.

Looking for a new cross trainer when I ran across a fitness magazines recommended Shoes article featuring this shoe. Well cushioned soles and light-weight shoe make it a pleasant wear for when I do my step or circuit videos. I bought a half size larger and was glad-still breaking in the shoe, but overall pleased with my purchase. Shoe did not receive four stars because it still has some points of stiffness when performing lateral moves. Well priced shoe.

I am not very happy with these shoes. I purchased them because they were advertised as cross trainers and I needed shoes that I could use for kickboxing and step aerobics. They were comfortable when I first put them on and I love the color and look of these shoes.

After using these shoes for a few workouts I know that I will need to get another pair of shoes. During my high intensity workouts my feet and ankles started hurting and I couldn''t wait for class to be over so that I could take them off. I have never had this problem before. They just don''t provide enough cushion or support for me.

I love my new Ryka shoes. I use them for Jazzercise and they are super light and comfortable yet offer a great support. I usually have pain in my feet due to insufficient arch support in my shoes but these seem to take care of the problem. I have only used them for a little over a month but am already thinking about getting a second pair.

I am a certified fitness instructor. I teach a Mixed Martial Arts inspired Fitness class called Body Combat. I train 6 days a week and pratice more than you could imagine. I have been through Nike, Ascis, Adidas, New Balance, etc. you name it, I tried them! I am willing to spend money for quality top rated sneakers. But I do love an affordable sale as well! I found the Ryka Assist XT sneakers 2 years ago and haven''t looked back since! I was recommended them from a co worker whose family owned a footwear company in Ardmore, PA. He suggested trying them. I spoke to him about my concerns and what I wanted from the sneaker. He hit it right on the head with Ryka''s Assist. I have yet to find a better sneaker. I still try different sneakers every few months. I tend to have to purchase sneakers every 3-4 months due to my training regimen. The Assist''s are comfortable, supportive, light and durable. They last! You get your money''s worth and then some. I have never had an issue with these sneakers, no cons, downfalls, etc. Now everyone has their own opinion, but I have recommended these sneakers to everyone in my classes and not one person has ever had problems or issues with them. The arch support is great, they are not too narrow like Nike''s that I have tried, they are super light weight, amazing for a cross trainer. They have a wider boxed toe for lateral movements, cushiony heal and room for your toes, nothing gets squished together, but they aren''t too big either. They are lower cut for the comfort around your ankles, yet not too low that they don''t provide support. The do, very well. I love that they are grey all over and some red. One thing I hated was white areas on the sneakers that always got so dirty. These are great to go with everything. They also come in other color variations. I even tried the Assist XT2, but found that they were not comparable. They were much bulkier and heavier. I did however get excited because they were purple and grey (MY FAVE COLORS!) But sadly had to return them, they were just not comfortable or supportive for the training that I do daily. Try them, they might be for you. I found the Assist Xt''s on Amazon & eBay for suprt cheap! Right now they are on eBay for $38.21 with FREE SHIPPING as of 10/29/12 @ 4:55 pm from walkingsue7. I have found my sneaker for life and hope that they don''t stop making them. I have no clue what I would do if I couldn''t find them! LOL I hope that this helps some of you. I know that I extensively review sneakers for the best value, best comfort, best everything so that I can kick butt in my classes and rock it out always! Research is key and most people are great with returns and exchanges, plese read their exceptions though. You always need to read everything before buying! Thank you! Rhiannon The link is below:

THE BIGGEST LOSER Sculpt & Burn Kit (4-6lbs)

The Biggest Loser Sculpt and Burn Kit - Weighted 4 to 6-Pound Water Ball and Jump RopeThis was purely an impulse buy. Filling the ball took about 10 minutes. You have to keep "burping" it to get more water to go in. Have some patience!

There is no hype, no long instructions, just a color poster with a small amount of instructions under each picture. It says do 2 sets of 15 reps for each picture. I have not exercised for awhile. I start and stop my exercises all the time. So, presently, I am not fit. Let me just say that I only did one set of repetitions and it kicked me! This is great cardio and core strength. I will be sore tomorrow. I think you could expand on these exercises, or use it before a walk or a run. It is simple, no fancy dance steps or annoying people talking to you on a DVD. And it doesn''t take an hour. I will use this in the morning before work! It''s perfect!

This was exactly what I ordered. Many of the previous reviews said that it was difficult to fill, but if you follow the directions, it fills easily. I love this product.

Water Ball is great for ab workouts. The only drawback is that it''s difficult to fill up quickly! I wish I knew of a better way to fill it up. The instructions do not state how often to change the water. Do you have to change the water??

Haven''t used the jumprope yet.

The idea is interesting but you can''t actually fill the ball up with water. The hole that the water is suppose to go into is WAY too small. You would have to use an eye dropper to fill this thing. The jump rope has perma ripples in it from being plastic and stored in a coiled position. There are lots of other exercise balls...get one of those instead.

Everlast Elite Adjustable Speedbag Platform

Everlast Elite Adjustable Speedbag PlatformLength:: 6:13 Mins

05:00 1 month punching progress

This is a great platform to start off with because of the great value. I was able to assemble it myself after buying the proper mounting hardware (see photos that I have added). Don''t expect IKEA-like instructions to show you step by step assembly, but if you were good with legos as a kid, you can look at the photos and video and figure it out. It really helps to have an impact drill to drive those large screws into the studs!

The platform comes with a U type swivel which is great for "Boxing" style speed bagging hitting from the front. If you are into "Bible" boxing as seen on this DVD: TITLE Speed Bag Bible (DVD), then you might want to consider a ball swivel or a higher grade swivel. I also bought the TITLE Speed Bag Bible (Book), but haven''t read it yet.

I am learning by trying one new technique each week because I think it is fun and challenging. I done a bit of MMA style fighting and speed bagging in general should help with your timing and upper arm strength to keep your arms up. But you''ll find that all kinds of folks from all ages; boys and girls, picking up this fun activity. If you search for the top Speed Bag forum online, you''ll find a community of really helpful people.

From a novice to another, I hope this video helps you make the decision of buying this platform.

Tips:

I used white lithium grease to reduce the squeaking of the swivel, just be sure to wipe off the excess.

Add a 50lb bag of play sand (less than $6 from your local hardware store) to dampen the noise.

Practice and get good with what you''ve got, you can upgrade the swivel or get a smaller bag when you improve.

Invest in a good bag, start off with a large one to help with timing.

Invest in good hand protection, missing a lot can cut up your hands with the wrong bag, and can discourage you. Buy M-Tape (at your local sports store), Everlast EverGel Hand Wraps,or properly use some Everlast Hand Wraps.

Great bag platform for the home gym!! I bought the "Elite" speedbag platform after reading the reviews and must say I''m glad I did. The Elite is a rock solid. You won''t loose speed or rhythm to the movement of a flimsy frame or board. Mine came with Everlast''s NEW style chrome plated Pro swivel that allows bag removal with the pulling of a simple cotter pin. (Not the hard to use old "Pro" style galvanized swivel with the chain link.) Coupled with a leather 4214 speed bag, this is one GREAT workout station!

I''d like to address some of the "issues" that that others have mentioned that might make you think twice about the Elite:

First, and obviously, you will need tools to assemble and install. A drill, drill bit, #2 Phillips head screw driver, tape measure, Torpedo (magnetic is a plus) level, and adjustable wrench will do the trick. These are all basic tools even if you live in an apt. If you don''t already own these, you should... These tools will be easy to find if you don''t want your own a tool kit.

Mounting Hardware: This unit comes with all the hardware needed EXCEPT the fasteners to mount the horizontal wood pieces to the wall. This is reasonable, since Everlast has no idea where you''ll hang your unit. Why add to the cost of the unit by adding a bunch of un-needed hardware? To mount through ½" drywall into wood studs, I used 4 ea 5/16" x 4" Lag Screws, and washers (Cost about $2.00 total at Lowes), plus a longer drill bit to pre-drill the wall studs for the Lag Screws ($5.00 at Lowe''s, but will go into my toolbox and be usable long after this project is done.) Lowe''s sales folks can help you decide which is the best hardware for your application.

I usually like to span 3 studs when hanging stuff, too, but this kit is set-up to attach to two, at 16". This is absolutely not a problem, my platform does not move what so ever.

Ceiling Height: I''m 6''1 and set mine about 4 inches down from an 8ft ceiling. I''m using the top setting, (bottom of the bag about mid nose height) so if you are much taller, you may want to hang a little higher.

Instructions: It really doesn''t need any... There are only 8 separate parts, plus fasteners. A simple look at the front of the box (or the Amazon product photo) will show you how every thing assembles. Just start by figuring how high your top wood needs to be and work your way down. Keep things plumb and level. Took my son and I about 1.5 hours to install, and we were clowning around much of the time.

All in all, this is the perfect set-up for my family and friends. I highly recommend this unit!

I installed the platform on two 2X4 boards secured very securely into my garage wall studs. This allowed for a very tight and secure installation. Initially the adjustable side of the rails seemed less secure than the opposite side, but with the hand adjustment knobs really cranked down the noise and rattle stopped. Great platform for my once or twice a week use. Nothing like a workout on the speed bag to rip your shoulders and arms. I needed a trip to the hardware store for the lag bolts (10), 2x4 boards cut longer than those supplied, a stud-finder, drill, ratchet set, and about 90 minutes to install by myself.

Just bought this. Have been speed bagging for about 10 years.

The good:

Rebounds are MUCH better than my previous speed/heavy bag combo stand.

Board is good quality and about 1.5 in thick.

Works well now that I have it up.

Adjustable height is a cool feature.

The bad:

4 knobs to tighten regularly if you want to adjust height, or keep platform from wobbling.

Swivel moves back and forth easily, but not side to side. This makes it easy to keep the bag straight, but is not what I am used to.

Had to mount the 2x4 at the joint of my wall and ceiling to have the bottom of the bag at jaw level on the highest adjustment.

Notes:

1. Heed the advice of posters here, and have the following on hand to hang this sucker:

* Four lag bolts 5/16ths that are 4in long, with washers

* Philips Screw Driver

* Drill bit to pre-drill the pilot holes for lag bolts

* Cordless drill

* Socket set

* Level

* dab of grease for the swivel

* Step ladder

* Utility knife & flat head screw driver to cut crown molding (you may not do this, but I did)

2. I put this up by myself (I am strong, and "handy" with tools & construction) in about 2.5 hours. I would recommend having someone to help you.

I have used this product personally in several different locations, and I have installed one myself. Since I have installed numerous speed bag wall units before I found no problem with this material, however you will need longer lag bolts and wall anchors. It''s best to put some wooden horizontal wall runners attached to span at least three studs on 16 inch centers then attach this to the wood runners, also drilling into the studs if possible. If you are NOT familiar with hanging heavier materials on walls, particular in a bedroom or "finished" location, get some help. But the average do-it-yourselfer should be able to get this up and punching in two or three hours max. If you want a rock solid easily adjustable wall unit for a great price this is a perfect selection. Properly hung it has very little vibration and shake and gives a nice consistent rebound.

The swivel supplied in mine was a chain link style, which has a small locking clip on the side. If you are not familiar with chain link speed bag swivels, it is a pain and I suggest you get retaining ring pliers to help make it easier. Personally I use a ballhook and drill the swivel holes all the way through the board to use bolts that extend out the top. This will insure the screws holding the swivel don''t rattle loose and strip the holes. The bag supplied is mediocre at best. Buy a professional higher quality bag. A Good bag together with this board you will get many hours of high quality speed bag punching for a super price.

CW-X Women''s Pro Running Shorts

CW-X Women''s Pro Shorts-Navy-XSAbsolutely great shorts which deliver on the promise to reduce muscle fatigue and provide excellent compression. Have been wearing them for many years, and will probably continue to do so even though they are very pricey at $70 or more. It is disappointing that from the very first pair the crotch seam all the way down the inside thigh seam deteriorates until the fabric pulls apart. The first pair I sent back to CW-X and they were replaced but this flaw has continued in every pair since then. Doesn''t seem to matter if it is men''s or women''s short, the inside seam is the weak link that eventually gives way. CW-X makes a great short, but keep checking that inside seam.

This is my third pair of the CW-X tights; I have the full length tight in both the regular and the thermal for winter time sports. I absolutely love my long tights. I am 5''6" and about 135 lbs and bought the small in all of them. Great fit. Tight to get into but fits right. Bought these in the short version (above the knee) and I''m not as crazy about them for one simple reason. The way the stitching goes around the thigh, for some reason, it makes my thigh bulge out on the inner side of my thigh, just behind the seam. At 135 lbs and 5''6" I''m more on the slender side but what fat I have on my thigh bulges out behind this seam. I don''t think it''s probably noticeable to people but it makes me feel just a bit self conscious about wearing them and I simply don''t have this problem on the long tights. I have bought them all on Amazon simply because they have the greatest prices, fast free shipping and a great purchasing experience.

I am 135lbs, 5''4'''' and tried on the Medium. According to BMI charts, my BMI is right in the middle of the range for my height and weight. Since I dont have extremely tight and toned thighs, the elastic in certain places fit me funny and my thighs stuck out in certain places. From a totally aesthetic point of view, I didnt like them because the elastic made my thighs bulge in certain areas and it was not pretty...but I cant comment on functionality or worth since I returned them.

I purchased these for the wife, who is an avid runner with several 1/2 marathons under her belt.

She loves them and commented how much better she feels after the end of a run when wearing these. Hence I purchased her another set of the shorts as well as a pair of the CW-X Pro Running Pants.

She has had them for over a year now, wearing them for both training, several 1/2 marathons and 5K''s and they have held up great. We just machine wash them and hang them to dry.

Lifeline USA Lateral Resistor 2 - 50 lbIt shipped pretty fast. Nothing came damaged. Used it for about 3 weeks for long durations of intense training and snapped one of the bands. All in all not a bad product.

Elite Rings Freestyle Trainer

Elite Rings Freestyle TrainerI bought these and they are excellent, they have a good price, the handles are very nice. I train with these I love the fact that I can go from one exercise to another just by changing what I am doing and still stay in the same position, example I can go from push ups to push outs (I don''t know names of the exercises but instead of pushing up from your chest you push forward) I can change that to diagonal and sideways or one hand forward the other back. I love these I am only limited to my imagination. I can do upside down pull ups with these!

They are a lot of fun, a great addition to any Martial Arts DoJo.

Now for a word of caution these come with S buckles replace those with hardware store heavy duty carabiners, I use the kind that look like a tear drop, not the aluminum but the steel ones. The S buckles slip out (yes even with them installed right in the middle the way it says to), they slip out! When you are hanging upside down that is scary having one spin around and slide nearly off.

The carabiners are only $4.00 each and worth it for your life on the line.

These come with a small carry bag that seems useless, if you want to take these with you get a small to medium camera bag.

This is definitely a better form of suspension training than TRX. With a split design, you have freedom that TRX cannot give you. You can do all the exercises plus a lot more. You can vary your width of the grips, which you cannot do with TRX. This allows you to do dips, hanging knee raises, pull-ups, etc., that cannot be done on a TRX. All which provide you with a more challenging workout than the traditional forms and more freedom as well. It is also, a heck of a lot cheaper. $50 and your done. Also, the cam buckles are much more durable than TRX. These are made of metal, not plastic. Try breaking them! Very easy to adjust height, and has measurement markers to make sure both are adjusted the same length.

The only knock I give it is that you have to assemble it yourself and it is probably too much strap for in home use. (17'' on each strap) But you can never complain that they are not long enough.

I like these rings better than the TRX system. Much easier to take down and put back up in my situation. The 2 "S" shape fittings slide right into the mount quickly. The 2 separate straps give more options also. The straps are very long and can get in the way, but I just rolled up the extra strap material and rubber banded it so it hangs much shorter. These are fabulous! Can''t beat the price. You won''t be disappointed. Also, I see many reviews about the straps slipping. That seemed to happen with mine, but I reversed them and they work great! They look like they are on backwards, but I think it is the actual correct way because they don''t slip at all for me. They are also very easy to adjust the strap length too. I bought these and the TRX straps to compare quality, and for the cost vs. quality....I am keeping these and returning the TRX straps.

I like this equipment a great deal. It is perfect for conditioning, and stretching. For the price, this is a great value. I have read from other reviews some people were dissappointed in this product. It is impossible not to like this, unless coordination is a factor. Installation is a bit tricky, thus using the instruction manual is a must. The customer service is very helpful, if you are a budget minded serious athlete, this is a great product. Good luck..

This is a great product. You can do a variety of workouts on it and after an hour of using it I promise you will be sore. When you buy it make sure you get some sturdy clips to hold it the ones that come with it might easily come undone and if i''m suspended i would like to trust the straps. Great device for half the cost of the TRX

ASICS Men''s Thermopolis LT 1/2 Zip

ASICS Men''s Thermopolis LT 1/2 Zip, Black/Black, LargeA nice quality layer for those 40 degree morning runs. I enjoy the semi-fitted feel which for me is a little more freeing. I am 6''3", 205, 44L jacket. I bought a large and it fits great. My arms are a little long and the sleeves stretch nicely so the thumb holes can fit, however the sleeves don''t seem to droop either if I don''t want to use the thumb holes.

This running top fits me well, is comfortable, keeps me warm, and looks great. I wear extra large and this product seems to be true to size

Says it is semi-fitted. I am 5''7" and weigh 145. I run and bike. I bought this to run. The medium was very baggy and at least a size too big. I don''t even know if the small would be small enough. It is too bad because the quality of the garment is excellent. I expect it would be warm enough for runs in the 40s, etc.

If you''re single and you want to pick up women, wear this pullover. It is perfectly crafted to keep the warm in, the (slightly) cold temperatures out, and the girls swooning at every turn. The ladies will want you, and the guys will want to be you. It has a slimmer fit all around, giving me the inclination that it might not be the best pullover for the one''s with more love to share. The stitching across the whole thing seemed a little more noticeable than the picture suggested, but I think that it adds a little character to the piece.

Reebok Women''s PD Sleeveless Tee

Recomendado !!!

I wanted a sleeveless tee with no spandex in it because I didn''t want a clingy fit. This top fits exactly as pictured. The tag indicates that this is a "relaxed" fit. It fits comfortable, doesn''t cling, and hides figure flaws. It fits close enough so that it''s not over-sized. To get the same fit as the model pictured, stick to the Reebok size chart. Sizing up or even down is not recommended. Sizing down a relaxed fit top might not be flattering. I always wear a small in Reebok and Nike running tanks. The Small in this top fits perfect ...in a relaxed way. Dimensions for a Small are generousarmpit to armpit: 18" across, top of armhole to bottom: 23-1/4", top of neck to bottom: 24-1/2, bottom side to side: 18-1/2" across.

The v neck is a nice feature. The 100% polyester material is also soft. The softness was what really sold me after I got it. Even the texture looks nice. Some thought did go into the making of this top after all.

In keeping with the relaxed fit, there is no princess seaming however, it could have used some to give it a little shape. The top is straight and relies on your own curves to give it shape. I bought this to wear over sport bras and under running zip necks and running jackets. It works great as a base layer. I reach for this all the time. I hope Amazon re-stocks this especially in the white color and offers it at a good price again. This is something I would purchase again. I should''ve bought more than one....now there''s no more.

THis shirt works great for my workouts the only suggestion would be to make sure you order the right size. I usually wear a medium shirt for working out (often a small for non workout shirts) but decided to order this in a large because I hate tight workout shirts. The medium would have been a better idea.

The fit is looser than expected despite getting the xs. Other than that, the fabric is good for those sweaty workouts
