Pearl Izumi Women''s Select Tri Sleeveless Jersey

This top (I also own the bottoms) worked out great for a sprint triathlon. Pearl Izumi makes great action wear. They fit well and look great on any athlete. I only rated 4 stars because it would be nice to have an integrated bra in the top. This was worth the cost and I would recommend to others. BTW, I did get a lot of compliments on the pink punch colored top.

I am just getting into biking and wanted a top with pockets. Many I tried on were too snug in the lower abdomen. This top fits me great, well it could be a little tighter in the underarm area, but all in all it is very flattering on my middle aged, pear shaped body. I have the pink and it is a nice color. Not girly-pink, but a deeper, rich color that gets driver''s attention and also takes focus away from my hips. The back is a breathable white fabric while the front is the stretchy pink. The black stretchy side panels are very slimming.

My only complaint is that the pockets have a fold over, envelope style top, so they are not very easy to get into while I am cycling. I know this was made for tri sports and so that makes sense, as things would easily fall out when running or swimming without the cover. Still, I wish I had paid better attention to the pockets when I bought it. I was just so happy with how it made me look like I was in better shape than I am that I bought it without thinking it through.

I have worn it a dozen times still really like it. It washed up easily and air dried quickly. I will probably look for another style for biking, but I will continue to wear and love this when I am not so reliant on an easy access pocket.

This is a lightweight top in nice colors with a white back that keeps you cool on hot days riding. It has a slight racerback which may necessitate a new undergarment unless you don''t care about straps showing.

What I like: the racerback style; the black panels on the side of the pink punch colored jersey which are slimming from the front and back; the white back on (I believe) all the styles which provides contrast, but also keeps you cooler when the sun is shining on your back as you ride; the color pink punch it''s bold and pretty; the zip on the front which is always great for me in riding shirts as it lets the breeze fly down the front of you while you ride down.

What I don''t like: the hem is curved so it kind of tapers from the side to the back which makes the top a bit on the short side; the fabric is thin, which means cool, but see through at the midsection so if you have any kind of bulge over your bike shorts, it might be noticeable. Also, since it is paper thin and white in back, you can see your undergarment right through the back. In addition, it can''t possibly provide UV protection on the back if it is white and so see-thru so you will need to put sunscreen on under it if you are a sunscreen wearer.

I think the top runs a bit small because I am usually a size small -(4-6) but ordered the medium. I would suggest ordering up a size if you are hippy since it is pretty slim where it hits the hips. It fits correctly, but the style is just too short for me. I like my tops a bit longer to fit over my hips. I found an Underarmour shirt that fits better so I will be returning this.
