Reebok 10-Pound Kettlebell with DVD

Reebok 10-Pound Kettlebell with DVDAll kettlebells are pretty much the same. However, the size of the handle on this one is perfect to fit my hand. Other kettlebells have smaller or larger handles, which would not fit my hand as well. I would suggest trying these at a stores before buying them. Also, what a few of Steve Cotter''s videos on that popular video site to see proper hand positioning. That''s critical for proper kettlebell exercises.

I picked up this one at Target for about the same price as it''s advertised here. The main reason that I bought it was that it is well-designed with a nice handle. Many of the kettle weights that I have tried (that are about the same price) have a rough, unsanded and dirty feel to the handle, almost as though metal shavings are about to flake off. The handle on this one, however, has been machined and sanded to a very smooth finish. The result is that you can use this kettle without weight gloves if you want and it won''t leave marks or scratches on your hands.

The quality of this product was a surprise given that Reebok is mostly known as an athletic shoe and apparel company, and its weights and equipment are generally regarded as gimmicky and second-rate. This kettle weight seems to be an exception to that.

I have nothing to say about the included DVD because, simply put, I haven''t watched it. There is so much good and free content out there about using kettle weights, on YouTube and elsewhere, that the DVD really isn''t much of a selling point for me.
