These shorts were exactly what I was looking for. It looks like UA stopped making the 4" style and I was pretty disappointed since those were the perfect length for me. But even though the 3" shorts look like they are on the shorter side when you pull them out of the packaging, they fit great. I am 5''6" and they fell a little bit above mid-thigh. They were appropriate enough to wear to the gym and I never had a problem with them riding up I wore them in Zumba and took a run without any issues. The colors are fun and youthful. Highly recommend these shorts!

I just bought these from Under Armour in a size medium in the color black. Lying on a flat surface, the waist measures 16 1/4 inches across, unstretched. Stretching it out, I measure the waist at about 20 inches. The elastic waistband measures 1.5 inches wide and is lined on the inside, so it doesn''t rub up against the skin. The drawstring is fully functional (not just for looks) and is made of the same material as a nylon shoelace. Even the finished ends of the drawstring have the little UA logo on them. These are from the Under Armour Heat Gear line, so of course that means they are meant to keep you cool and dry (not warmer like their other lines of products). Measuring the inseam, it does come to an exact 3 inches, with a very slight rise at the outside of the thighs. On one thigh, there is also a small UA "X" logo which is very subtle. The band on the black shorts is a soft grey color with the words Under Armour in white. The material of the shorts (at least in the black color) is not see through at all. It''s light weight and perfect for sports and exercise.

great product, very comfortable, but they kinda like ride up my hips when i excercise. like they don''t stay put, its weird. i am 5''2 and 116 pounds and got a small.

Couple of starter thingsI bought these because they were cheap AND I bought the wrong size it seems. I got medium and should have went with small.

That being said, these shorts are mediocre. They are stylish but I didnt find them functional. The waistband is good but with anything other than weight lifting they ride up. I did a group class at the gym and was pulling them down the whole time. The length is good, but they are very airywhat I mean is there is a lot of room in the legs and they are a bit floppy so you''d definitely want tights underneath.

I''ll end up wearing these to bed or possibly working out with them on over tights. Overall C+
