Santa Barbara Pants

Seriously. Best fitting, most comfortable, and most flattering I''ve had in a long time. I''ve been searching all over for a pair of good-fitting yoga pants for exercise and casual wear, have a really hard time due to being petite and pear-shaped, 5''2" and 124 lbs, small waist but full round seat and thighs. Most pants of this type are either too small in the seat/thighs, or too big in the waist, and cause me to bulge unflatteringly.

I saw a positive review of these on the Fit Couture website, decided to try them, studied their size chart, crossed my fingers for luck and went with a petite medium. When I first got them and pulled them out of the bag I thought, "no way will I fit into these," as they appeared really skinny and narrow from the waist to the knees. But then I pulled them on.

Wow! They stretched perfectly over my curves, just heavy enough fabric to smooth me out, but without any feeling of constriction of discomfort. Plenty of room in the seat, waist sits perfectly where it should and just right. Really slimming through the thighs, just enough flare below the knee to balance my curvy hips. Long enough to touch the floor, which means I can both exercise bare footed but also wear them with low heels if I want. And stretchy! I can do any kind of exercise or stretching I want in these with no constriction. And the fabric has a really soft, comfortable feel to it.

I''ll see how they hold up with use, and update this if something goes wrong. But right now I''m delighted and would like to buy more from this company. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making such a great-fitting, good-looking pant!

These sat a bit farther down from my navel than I would have liked; had to return them. Otherwise they seemed well-constructed, just not the right fit for my body.
