Confidence Fitness Elliptical Cross Trainer

Confidence Fitness Elliptical Cross TrainerI bought it reluctantly because it was only $89.00 then I got $10 off so 79, but paid 44 shippping, total was 124.00. We put it together in about a half an hour. At first it felt like I was leaning forward too much on the down stroke so we put a 30 inch two by four under the front part of the frame. Cheap fix, excellent motion, I love it. Computer actually works the way I would have designed it myself. Glad I bought it, encourage anyone not wanting to spend a fortune on one to get this one.

Updating my review on this wonderful product having owned it for almost a year now. We both use it regularly, 3-6 times per week. While reading newer reviews, I came across one that was very helpful to all who purchase this product: TIGHTEN ALL NUTS/BOLTS/SCREWS from time to time. Had a bolt let go on the right footpedal and immediately remedied the situation with a wrench. Decided to tighten all connections to find that they had all loosened up with the constant use. I did not put this machine together when it arrived, my fiance did, so I do not know if he used the wrench that was included or his own to tighten the fittings. But anyway, it''s still an AWESOME machine for the money. Just be sure to tighten up all the connections from time to time and it should continue to be a great little work-out machine.

I just got the machine last week, it is easy to set up, and it feels sturdy enough when using it, although even at 5''9", my knees almost hit the handles.

The problem I have with it, is that the back end is way too high, so you''re always sliding downwards into the foot rests until your toes get crammed and you have to wiggle back. I think this is due to the frame being a stationary bike, thats been slighty tweeked to be an elliptical.

I bought this product based on good reviews here at Amazon. Don''t repeat my mistake. First of all, a small plastic thingy that served as a sensor for the computer and therefore came into direct physical contact with the flywheel or some other moving part started making this incredibly irritating, loud whining noise after about 3 weeks of use. OK, it took some doing but I finally figured out exactly where the noise was coming from, broke the thing off and voila the noise was gone. But a couple of weeks later the metal base simply cracked. I noticed that the machine was wobbling underneath me, and when I took a closer look, I saw the crack on the bottom metal frame, at the back. I weigh 180, and I used it for 30 minutes a day, so it''s not like I abused it. The thing is obviously built very cheaply. Believe me, if it sounds too good to be true a legitimate $100 elliptical that''s because it is. You will end up wasting money and time, don''t bother with this thing.

bought this machine, based on the reviews on Amazon. It was okay at first. I workout regularly with tapes, outdoors activities and started using the machine twice a week. By the 3rd week it started to make noises as if the wheel was rubbing against the plastic cover of the chain. We tried to see if we can fix it, but it didn''t work. I can''t use it anymore, mainly because the wheel is not rotating properly and rubber/plastic is rubbing against each other somewhere. You get what you paid for!!! Now I''m looking to invest in something more sturdy. If you exercise once every month this is the machine for you!!
