I use these when commuting into work on cool mornings, about 8 miles. Great for that application but if it were much longer they''d be too warm for "cold" Alabama mornings. But that''s what I bought them for and they work great for that purpose. Not sure of durability yet as I''ve only worn them 5 or so times. There is no padding inside so I''ve been wearing cycling shorts under these pants.

I have been so pleased with the performance of these pants. I''m 55, live in west Denver, and started last year riding my bicycle to and from work year-round. Some mornings this winter I''ve ridden in single digit F temps. With an inexpensive pair of polyester long underwear underneath, I have yet to experience any discomfort in my legs even when other body parts are feeling the discomfort of the cold. I also wasn''t interested in tights and the semi-form fit has been ideal for me for movement and comfort. I haven''t experienced really wet conditions yet but not worried too much when I do given the obvious quality of the construction and the pant is advertised for wet conditions. For the price on Amazon, this is easily one of the best investments in cold weather gear I''ve made... probably the best in reality. Just what I wanted. The fit is right, they are comfortable and warm and provide lots of mobility during workouts and lounging around.
