+ Sturdy; I am 5''10" 230lbs and feel very secure on the bench
+ Easy to Assemble; took two of us (both mechanically inept) about one hour to completely assemble, included all of the hardware on a well marked card and only required us to provide an adjustable wrench
+ Versatile; the bench is adjustable to three position which allows different muscles to be worked and the Arm Curl and Leg attachments add additional functionality
The included "Basic Weight Training Booklet" is just about useless, but there are many on-line resources with good information so it isn''t a big issue. We also bought The Complete Idiot''s Guide to Weight Training Illustrated, 3rd Edition, which provided a good starting point!
Highly Recommended!

The weight bench was easy to assemble out of the box and the instructions were specific enough to stay on track. Once assembled, the bench is solid, easy to use and adjust. It''s a good value.Read Best Reviews of Marcy Classic Standard Bench & Arm Curl Here
OVERALL..Nice, sturdy bench. Everything you would expect from a basic bench, got the incline, flat, & decline
BUT, the only thing i didn''t like is the grip you have to use when your benching with this product. It''s like a wide grip for me so i have to wide grip it to pick it up and then shift my hands to make it more comfortable for me.
Great price for a basic bench like this, box came a little beat up but that''s okay. I had all my pieces, but when your putting it together.. try having someone else help you. And have a universal wrench as well cause the one it came with didn''t really help at all.

I received this item the other day and was thrilled to finally have a bench to use at home (I have always hated gyms... too much of a meat market). The packaging wasn''t in too horrible of a condition when it arrived on my doorstep. Upon opening the box, I found that only a few bolts had spilled out from the individual bolts, screws, and washer holder.
Assembly wasn''t as painful as I thought it would be. I worked alone at putting it together, in a hot, muggy garage. I had a couple adjustable wrenches, and it took me around an hour from start to finish. Instructions weren''t too confusing, but they could have been much easier to understand if LESS information was included. I don''t want to read anything that looks like a paragraph in order to understand that I have to put this screw through that washer through that hole. Simplified instructions would have been much easier to sift through.
After it was assembled, it didn''t take up too much room in my garage. I''m 6''2'''', and the bench seems a little short for me. I think I''ll need to try to tighten the bolts that connect the bar holder(s) to the cross bar. It seems a little wobbly to me.
As some other reviewer mentioned, the part that holds the bar seems to be right where it feels like I would naturally put my hands on the bar, so it seems slightly awkward, but I''m new to this, so maybe this is the way it is supposed to be?
I haven''t tried the leg or curl attachments. I assume they''re both suitable. If not, I''ll certainly mosey on over here again and bash away.
But, so far, delivery was fast and assembly wasn''t bad at all. I''m just a little concerned about the length of the bench (it is kind of narrow as well) and the position of the bar holder.
