Everlast Thai Pad (Black)

Everlast Thai PadDefinitely buying another pad, it only comes as 1 per. They aren''t very big, but they good for concentration and weight almost nothing. As the trainer, their light and easy to maneuver, getting hit doesn''t hurt. As a trainee they are solid and can take some wear, I''ve used them nearly ever day for a good month and they''re still like new. My only complaint is that if you kick them without a guard on your instep it will definitely sting a while. Also you should know that the handle is solid and, in my opinion, better for holding on to.

The description leads one to believe this is a pair of pads, but it is only one pad. It is well-constructed and has a good grip, but it is rather small, makes a good forearm pad. Works well as a striking/blocking pad for hand/elbow techniques. The price is excellent, but if you really need a good kick pad, you''re probably going to need to spend $70-$100. Still, a good value, just not large enough to be really versatile, but then again it is small, lightweight, and quick. I''ll end up buying another much larger pad for more money, but this is a useful piece of equipment and I''m glad I bought it.

Good value, works as described, and well designed. It is a bit stiff to hit or kick, I wish it had more give so that it wasn''t like kicking or hitting a plastic wall, but it certainly won''t fall apart any time soon.

Just got the pad today. Without reviewing the pad itself, I just wanted to post for all those considering purchasing this product, that you get a single Thai Pad, not a pair (despite this product being sold by Everlast by the pair). I was expecting two of the pads, since #1 the product is called "Everlast Thai Pads" and Everlast''s website specifies that they are sold by the pair.

Hopefully, I will update this review with some comments about the actual quality of the product itself, not just the quantity.

Pads are stiff. Velcro is crap. If you are serious about muay thai/mma spend the extra 30 and get something heavier that will hold up to hard kicking. If you are training kids this product is great if a bigger person is holding. They are not very good for training with people of different levels, beginners holding for someone that can kick will get their head rattled.
