Isokinetics Inc. Brand Deluxe Pilates Exercise Ring - 14" - 3 Colors

Isokinetics Deluxe Pilates Exercise Ring - Black - 14''i''m a pilates instructor, but my facility didn''t have rings at their gym. since many students had their own, i didn''t i would ask the other students to please get a ring, but i would provide some for those who didn''t have. I bought 5 of these (purple). There is not a lot of resistance---but that''s good for people who aren''t terribly strong. Enough resistance for ''new'' students, ''weak'' students, or ''older'' students. Also, some students complained that the padding on the handles hurt their ankles/shins when we did leg work. It''s been over a year, i think, and they haven''t complained in a long time, so i guess they got used to it. overall, pretty great purchase for a pretty great price.

The item is durable and well made. A sheet with recommended exercises would have been useful.

The Glo Bag - The Ultimate Gym Locker Organizer Backpack: Solid Black

The Glo Bag - The Ultimate Gym Locker Organizer Backpack: Solid BlackFirst, full disclosure... I previously bought, returned, and reviewed the Ogio bag--which could not hold my clothes or my size 12 sneakers. Jennifer from the Glo Bag contacted me and asked if I would try theirs and review it. I''ve been using it for about 10 days, a half dozen trips or more to the gym. Here''s what I''ve found...

*My size 12''s fit fine.

*The ventilation in the shoe compartment seems to keep away that ''gym bag smell.''

*I was concerned the bag would not hold my clothes. I''m over 6'' and go 225 lbs. Not to worry, everything fits with room to spare.

*It is extremely handy to have everything at eye level in my locker--I didn''t realize I wanted/needed this until I had it. Because it''s easy to hang the bag, I do so, and lock the locker up when in the shower, sauna etc. Makes stealing my stuff much harder. I avoided trying to stuff other gym bags into the locker because they just didn''t fit in well.

*There are any number of mesh and slash pockets to put stuff in.

*It''s very handy to have the backpack design--I just sling it over one shoulder and take off.

*It seems well made, durable ballistic material, good zippers etc.

*I find the mesh pocket on one of the backpack straps very handy for my gym card--guess it''s supposed to be used for a cell phone.

*The upper compartment holds a full length pair of sweat-pants, a workout shirt, underwear, spare socks, and I could stuff a towel in there if my gym didn''t supply them.

*There are a number of hanging loops so you can likely hang it in whatever configuration your gym uses.

*There''s a separate cosmetics kit. I don''t have a lot of use for gym cosmetics, so I stuff an extra water bottle and my hairbrush in there.

*There''s a black mesh pocket hanging in the upper compartment handy for a wallet, and hard to see if you''re not really looking to steal stuff.

Most excellent products--and this is one--also could use a few tweaks. Here are things I would like to see...

*Attention to equipment other than cosmetics. I have sort of struggled where to put my ipod, my full-size headphones, my chest strap and wrist monitor etc. I''d rather see an ''equipment bag'' in the middle compartment than a cosmetic case. Maybe this could be a customer selected option.

*There are slash pockets on the front and back of the bag. There''s a small one in front and a large one in back. I''d like them reversed. If the large one were in front I could stick my headphones in there and hide my wallet in the back one.

*I''d like two places to hold water bottles/travel coffee mugs. Truth be told I am often carrying both into the gym.

In summary, this has become ''my gym bag'' and I am finding it flexible, useful, and generally very well thought-out. Can I give it 4 1/2 stars?

At first I thought this bag was great. And it is in theory. It keeps my things organized so I can go to the gym before work and get ready at the gym. It also makes it easy when I go after work.

There are a few things that really need to be improved. First of all, the cell phone pouch on the backpack straps does not fit an iPhone, which is a very popular phone, and it probably doesn''t fit many of the other smart phones out there either. It''d also be nice if the larger of the outside pockets was in a location that is easier to get to when the bag is hanging in the locker.

Now, here''s the BIGGEST thing, and why I no longer used my very expensive gym bag. The shoe compartment needs to be more separated and more vented. At first I loved the bag, but then after using it for a little while, I noticed that my clothes didn''t stay fresh like I had hoped they would with the separate compartments. Really, they were downright stinky from sitting in my hot car with my gym shoes while I was at work. All that separates your shoes from the rest of your stuff is a removable insert that doesn''t even close off that compartment all the way. If they were to fix this, it would be much better.

I ended up buying just a generic gym bag with a separate shoe compartment. Although it doesn''t hang nicely in the locker like the GLO bag, at least it will keep my clothes from interacting with my shoes.

this is the best bag i have ever used. i did a review on this for positivelycelebrity.com and was absolutely blown away by the versatility of the Glo Bag. it holds it all, from shoes (ALL THE WAY UP TO A MEN''S 14, which the OGIO locker bag can''t hold) to clothes and a lot more. i couldn''t recommend this bag any more for everything from yoga, to basketball to an overnight trip (it can fit in the overhead compartment!).

great job Jennifer and Kendra!

I''ve been through several gym bags looking for one to keep me organized, and from having to constantly take my bag out of my locker to fish for things. If you are anything like me, as soon as you go to your gym locker, so do the people on either side of you it''s so much easier to be able to get in and out of your locker quickly because everything has a place in the bag! This bag is PERFECT and worth every penny. I also love that it''s a backpack, and the mesh phone pocket on the strap is perfect for holding my gym membership card. The wet bag is great for tossing your dirty clothes in, and I love that there are vents for my tennis & shower shoes in the bottom compartment. The toiletry bag is run of the mill but it fits perfectly in the bag, so I use it. Overall, it''s the best gym bag I''ve found I wish I had discovered it sooner!

I recieved my glo bag as a Christmas gift this past Decemember (2010) and I was extremely happy with it. The fact that everythign is organized and seperated makes it very helpful, and being able to hang the bag on a hook in the locker makes getting to everying that much easier, especially because I never know whether I am going to get a large or small locker when I hit up the gym. The customer service from the company is beyond great! I had a couple issues with the bag, and after sending an email I was sent a brand new bag with new improvements (the improvements were the defect in the previous bag) Now I love using my bag even more than ever. I get asked a lot where I got my bag from and I tell them all. I have liked it so much that I am going to purchase these as Christmas gifts this year!

Finding actual "no-show" socks is the biggest challenge and I don''t know why. These socks are comfortable, however, they are NOT no-show. They sit high above my ankles which means you can see them above my shoes. Is it just me or aren''t no-show socks supposed to sit BELOW your ankles?????? This is so annoying.....

Not only are they extremely comfortable they are very flattering too and get softer with each wash and best of all they dry very quickly (I do bikram yoga).

So comfortable, so soft! While they are yoga pants, I primarily use them for spinning and jogging. I couldn''t stop wearing them once I bought them, I need to buy a second pair! I''m glad I splurged on these plants. I was considering cheaper alternatives but these were totally worth it. I especially love the wide waist band -it keeps the pants up, but without jutting into your waist (read: love handles). I love the extra confidence I feel while wearing these pants because they look and feel great; they give me something to look forward to about working out!

Maximum Fitness Gear All-In-One Doorway Chin-Up Bar with Ab Exercise Guide

Maximum Fitness Gear All-In-One Doorway Chin-Up Bar with Ab Exercise GuideI shopped around and I have many years of fitness experience and so I didn''t make this choice lightly. Yes, it smells of chemicals but it''s probably because it was packed before the paint fully cured. The smell goes away by the time you get it together and use it a couple of times. The grips are good but they''re a bit soft and made of foam so I don''t expect they''ll last a long time. The area of the bar that comes into contact with the doorframe is a hard plastic with a textured surface that will leave an impression in the wood plus the natural up-down flex will rub a bit. The flat area on the back is fine and I don''t see any noticeable marks on the wall. Yes, some of the more gimmicky exercises rank right up there with using it as a grill for a compact pickup. Still, there''s no simpler way to have pull-up capability at home. Portable? Yes. Does it come apart easily for compact transport? Don''t even think about it. The beauty is it goes on quick, you work out, then put it away. Truly easy, effective and versatile since there are more grip locations than the single bar type. I even use the bends where there is no foam and it''s no problem. I bought some fitness bands to keep my reps high and I just leave them on it and use them as I desire. Can''t test the weight limit though, I''m less than a buck 50. The top 20 guide is a leaflet and my "kit" came with no tools. Didn''t use the included brackets. The stupidest thing they did with this kit is provide you a "printed on both sides" piece of paper of 20 exercise pictures but NONE of them use the bar. The only exercise pictures using the bar are on the box which I am sure most people will throw away/recycle. Come on guys, sheesh. Still a great product.

UPDATE 5/24/2010:

I promised that I would update this review and someone asked recently about measurements. So, with that in mind I measured the pull up bar. It would work in a doorway that is between 36 inches and 42 inches. If your doorway is smaller then 36 inches or wider then 42 inches, do not bother. My doorway is smaller then 36 inches and even though I was able to put spacer blocks on each end of the bar that goes against the wall, I would not recommend doing this. Just be aware of the opening if it is not within the measurements given, then, do not bother with this or any other doorway pull up bar.

REASON FOR SPACER BLOCKS:

I installed the spacer blocks because there is a small piece of tubing that sticks out the back side of the bar. This tubing was damaging the molding around the doorway, by adding the spacer blocks I was able to keep the tubing from damaging the molding.

Look at the picture of the pull up or chin up bar. You will see a flat horizontal bar that goes on the back side of the doorway and rests on the molding above the door (this is the highest bar in the picture). Below that you will see the longer horizontal tube (or bar) which goes on the outside of the doorway and comes in contact with the molding on either side of the doorway.

ONE OTHER NOTE: If you are living in a new home, manufactured home, trailer, or some modular homes there is a chance the interior walls may have been built with 2 X 3 studs. If this is the case the walls are thinner then if they were built using 2 X 4 studs, this too can cause issues with the bar not fitting properly and possibly damaging the molding on the side of the door which the flat horizontal bar rests on. I cannot say for certain if using the optional mounting brackets would solve this problem. But my best guess is that it very well would allow you to use the bar on a wall built with 2 X 3 studs.

ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS:

First let me say my rating of two starts is meant for the lack of information and the picture instructions. I am a technical writer, so calling an exploded view picture with a bunch of letters an instruction is offensive to me.

But let me clear up what I mean of lack of information first. All vendors market this bar as it will fit MOST doorways. That maybe so, but how hard is it to measure the bar and flatly give the maximum and minimum doorway widths in which this bar can be used. I have a friend who lives in an old farm house with huge doorway openings the bar simply can not grab onto the casing it passes through the opening. In my case, the opening is too narrow and the bar will damage my walls. I will go back and measure the bar, and if I am able I will update this review to include dimensions so no one else has to go through this.

Instructions or lack there of. OK, I assemble things, and write about how to put them together. I have never taken a picture or provided an exploded view of a product that included the hardware in the picture then expected any one to know how to assemble the product. But this is what they do with this product. It is not extremely difficult to figure out, just a little annoying and a couple of assembly hints would be nice.

Assembly hints:

You will need a large screw driver with either a Phillips head or a flat tip. A small tipped screw driver will only be a cause for frustration. You will also need a small 10 mm socket. No, a box end, open end, adjustable wrench. These will get you started but in at least three locations once the nut gets close enough to the tubing, these wrenches will not be able to hold onto the nut and you will not be able to fully tighten them.

It comes with an optional set of mounting brackets. Which I will be installing, but there is no explanation as to why you may want to choose to install them. I am going to install them, because if I don''t the bar will be so low, that my knees will hit the floor. I am not a fan of the fact that this bar seems to rely on the flat horizontal bar on the back to grab a hold of the molding on the top of the door way. Mainly because molding is not meant to support weight. Which is my reasoning for installing the brackets. I am no little guy, being 6 foot tall and 284 lbs, makes me a little skidish about relying on a piece of molding to help support me.

Beyond all of that....If I were to rate this bar purely on its function. Then, it would score a perfect 5 stars. I took it to a friends house, who has what would probably be considered a more standard door way opening. The height is better, it fits to the door way better, and it is a great way to do pull ups in your home. Over time, it may cause some minor damage, but new molding would probably be the only repair or some paint on the back side of the door way where the horizontal bar rests.

Bottom line, if you walls are constructed with 2 X 4''s and you have a more standard door way opening you will not have any troubles other then maybe some assembly issues. But if your walls were constructed using 2 X 3''s and the opening is what may be considered smaller then the standard, you will either not want to buy this or you will modify it to work. I will post my modification if I am able. If you live in an old farm house, with very large door ways. Pass on this and either construct a pull up bar outside, or find some way to mount a more permanent bar in the opening.

I was going to buy the Iron Gym Extreme Edition, but found that it would not fit my doors (glad I measured before I ordered). Luckily, I found this pull-up bar, as it was supposed to fit larger door frames and cost about the same. The reviews seemed good, so I gave it a shot.

After using it for a month, I could not be happier with it. It is a cinch to set up and take down. I don''t use the brackets included, but it still seems very sturdy. I''m not at all worried about it falling off the door. I weighed 250lbs. when I first started using the bar so I can''t speak to the 300lb. weight limit. However, as I said it is very sturdy and not once have I felt unsafe.

As other reviewers have said, it requires some assembly, and comes with no tools. I put it together with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Easy peasy, done in about 20 minutes.

The only other thing worth mentioning is that it does leave small black marks as some have said. They''re hardly noticeable (I don''t), but they are there.

All in all, great product.

I''ve used this product for almost a year now for P90X/P90X+ and it has worked great, but it also depends on whether you have a good door frame for it. I''m 6''2" ,weigh just over 200 lbs, and initially I just used the bar ''as is'' in my living room door frame. It wasn''t long however that I realized that the side pieces (that rest on the front sides of the door frame where there is typically trim) had worn through multiple layers of paint, chipping them off, and eventually digging down into the wood fibers of the molding and grinding them away.

Here''s how to avoid this: Take a couple of hand towels (that you might normally use as sweat rags), fold them long and skinny and wrap them tightly around the side pieces and then wrap tape around them multiple times to hold the wrapping in place. Duck tape is probably best but I used painters tape and its been fine. This will cushion those side pieces and protect your trim. I also tried foam pipe insulation, but that quickly eats away and you have to continuously replace it. This way will stay in place and you won''t have to keep messing with it. This should be plenty stable assuming you have a good door frame, and the part of the bar that reaches under and grips the top of the door frame can still make a good hold. I recently moved and this is no longer the case for any of my door frames, so I may have to try one of the other bars.

SAFETY NOTE: When testing this bar in a door frame, once you put all your weight on the bar for the 1st time, keep the bottoms of your feet facing the floor in case the bar slips while hanging, you''ll have a better chance of landing the right way. I''ve done the instinctive thing which is to bend the knees while hanging, big mistake, I landed on my knee caps pretty hard. Once you know its a good door frame and the bar is stable, you should be to do whatever you want with your legs and not worry about it.

I read the negative reviews of how some people received bent products that caused the bar to be uneven when assembled and I ignored them. Please don''t ignore them, I''m another recipient of the poor product quality inherent in this item. I assembled it and mounted it in my doorway, and the bar was easily 2 inches higher on the left than the right. I thought my doorway might have been off, so I tried it in 3 other doorways, same thing happened. Don''t invest in this product if you want a chin up bar that''s level (and let''s face it, you can''t use a chin up bar reliably and safely that isn''t!)

Ab Roller Evolution

Ab Roller EvolutionUnlike the previous reviewer, I purchased my Ab Roller from Walmart for a mere $30. It was easy to assemble and was ready to use in less than 5 minutes after opening it. Its design helps facilitate crunches without putting strain on the neck. While it''s not the most luxurious of models with this type of design, it gets the job done. I recommend using it on the floor with a yoga mat under it. I have been doing 50 to 70 crunches, 5 times per week since purchasing it on Dec. 26 2011. In addition, I work out 20 min a day using 10 min Carb Burner workout. I also watch what eat. I''ve lost 1 1/2 " from my waist and my abs are getting definition. It sure beats the inconvenience of going to the gym and doing crunches on their machines! Again, not as cushy but definitely gives results if you use it faithfully.

Maximum user weight 225 lbs According to the manual.Im pretty sure thats just for the push up/Dip feature.I am personally a big boy, 6'' 3" & closer to 300lbs and I can still fit in it as an ab roller. It can hold my weight on the push up/Dip feature but i try not to use it just because i know im over the maximum weight according to the manual. As long as you can fit in it im sure you will be able to get a good ab workout. Easy to assemble. Got mine at Target for $30. I believe they can also be found at walmart or K-Mart for about the same price.

All of these ab rollers are pretty similar, and get the job done. However, this is the only one I''ve used that has the worst neck rest I''ve ever seen! I would never even think to look at the shape of the neck rest because I''ve never had a problem. But this one is like a round stone. Extremely uncomfortable. Trying to position it just right so it didn''t hurt while trying to do the exercise was more work than it was worth. I''m surprised the other users didn''t have (or note) this problem. The rest of it is fine, decent construction. But I had to return mine and get one with a full size FLAT CUSHIONED headrest.

First of all, don''t buy it here. iI you have to buy it, it''s way cheaper somewhere else. This was the only place I could find to write a review. My husband bought this because it looked pretty easy to use and straightforward, and it is, but it hurts more than it works. The guy in the video it comes with has a completely different device than what you get. The bars that you are holding on to are flat and covered with thin foam. Putting all your weight on these cuts into your hands! My husband tried wrapping towels around the bars, but it didn''t help. So I just skipped the arm and chest workouts and went to the actual ab workout...not anything special...it does help to keep good form, however I feel I can''t crunch up as much as I can without it. It''s a little wobbly so I was constantly fixing and realigning the device.

All I all, I really felt like it was making my workout way harder, painful, and strenuous than it needed to be. Really push-ups and sit-ups are waaay better than this thing.

The product does what it''s supposed to do, but it''s not for anyone over 6''-2".

Read the instructions and do the stretches they recommend, especially the neck stretches.

This thing is more difficult than it looks, and hurts bad if you don''t stretch first.

Timex T5H881 Zone Trainer Digital Heart Rate Monitor

Timex T5H881 Zone Trainer Digital Heart Rate MonitorI bought this watch to replace a hand me down Polar S210. Let me just say that I can set up a vcr, but I could never properly set up the polar. I wanted a hrm that told me my heart rate and yelled at me when I was out of my zone. That''s it. I know what my heart rate zone should be, I didn''t want to go through the endless options of the Polar to setup a single stupid heart rate range.

This Timex is not complicated. It does not have the advance features of the Polar. I know my way around the plain Timex Ironman and when I got this watch it took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to manually set the heart rate zones and to arm the alarm. There''s also a dedicated button to simply turn on the heart rate. The manual''s there and it''s complicated, but it doesn''t need to be read.

The Heart rate is a little goofy every now and then when jogging but that''s usually because I''m not sweating enough. The watch is probably half the volume of my old Polar and not nearly as fugly. The watch face is appx 3cm high by 2.5cm wide... just a little larger than a plain Ironman Timex. The watch band''s max accommodation is just over a 8 inch circumference. If you''re a bigger guy, I''d go for the other model the T5H9xx

There''s probably other features of this Timex that I''ll never use. 4 out 5 stars because I''m pretty sure the watch amazon sent was a previously returned item.

This is my second Timex heart rate monitor and I would never buy anything else. I''ve experimented with Polars and was highly disappointed. This watch fits nicely and I recommend the black color so that dirt doesn''t change the color. I wear it all day and then throw on the chest strap when exercising. I love checking how many calories I have burned and its easy to use. I highly recommend this heart rate monitor!!

I weigh 190lbs with a 34 in waist and the chest strap just fits. I have a small frame (albeit somewhat overweight) so I can see how larger men would have a problem with the chest strap. But, it fits me so I went ahead and gave the watch five stars.

The more I use this thing the more I like it. I wear reading glasses or bifocals at 2.0x power. I can still read the time (the instructions were a different story) without my glasses. In the chronometer function the HR range is displayed above your elapsed time. Your current HR is a little black cursor above the HR range. You can see this in the product picture. This is cool because (even without my glasses) I can see if I am starting to get out of range as the cursor approaches either the high or low end of the range (while still being able to see the chronometer). If you would rather just watch your HR you can switch to make that the dominant display with the chronometer in a small font above it.

You can set an alarm tone to sound when you get out of your HR zone, too.

It will calculate your HR recovery over a 1 min or 2 min period. And, when the recovery period ends the watch is smart enough to stop sounding the HR TOO LOW alarm. However, if your HR goes out of range during recovery the alarm tone keeps sounding. The watch also starts the recovery period as soon as you press stop on the chronometer.

There is a review function so that you can see AVG HR, peak HR, min HR, etc. If you enter your weight in the setup then it will estimate calories burned, too. It just keeps the stats on one session.

After you put in your values for low and high HR for your HR range, you also select your fitness "zone" by selecting if you want to loose weight or work on aerobic fitness, etc. The watch then uses a different percent of max HR to calculate your target HR range depending on the zone you have selected. This "zone" is in the setup so if you want to switch your workout goals everyday then it might be a pain to switch that every day... but at least you wouldn''t need to enter values for HR or figure the percent of max that you want to use for that day.

Ok, I found an annoyance with this watch. I set the alarm tone to notify me when I am above or below my HR range. When you stop working out the watch doesn''t know when to quit. You can stop the Chronometer, reset it... you can even take off the chest strap, and the watch keeps beeping. The only way that I have found to turn off the alarm is to separate the two (like my kids) so that the watch can''t receive the RF signal from the chest strap.

This watch makes it easy to do zone training exercising so that your heart is in one particular "zone" (a percentage of your maximum heart rate). For example if you are exercising in Zone 3 (70-80% of maximum heart rate) you will get 3 points for every minute exercised and the idea is to accumulate a certain number of points per week. The watch tells you how much total time you exercised, and how much time you spent in your target zone. It doesn''t tell you how much time you spent in any other zone or for that matter, points accumulated per exercise two data points that would have made it much easier to follow the zone training suggested in the manual provided with the watch. Given all the data the watch provides, it would have been trivial to provide these data points as well and it''s really beyond me why Timex didn''t bother. Seriously guys time to hire product managers with a functional brain. The heart sensor is, as far as I can tell, pretty accurate and the watch is easy to read. The heart monitor strap can be uncomfortable being a guy I have all of a sudden, newfound sympathy to women who decide to burn their bras.

54" x 80" Striped Mexican Blanket - Yoga Studio Quality

54'' x 80'' Striped Mexican Blanket - Yoga Studio Quality, PurpleI got this as a sofa cover or cover for a day bed. It''s perfect for both uses, and I bought a purple striped one too. They came quickly and I like them a lot. The tag says to hang dry, but I tumble-dried it and it turned out fine. The only way to improve it would be if they were made of very soft 100% cotton, but they are acrylic/cotton blend, and the grey stripes seem to be woven of a spun mix of recycled fibers. Very happy overall, and I recommend this product.

I ordered three of these blankets to use for yoga. I have machine washed and dried them once so far. They seem to be good quality and of the same thickness as the blankets at a yoga studio.

I bought this blanket because it resembles the ones used in my yoga studio and I wasn''t disappointed. It''s soft, brightly colored, sized the same. While I''d prefer a more luxurious fabric if I wanted to sleep under it, the blanket is perfectly utilitarian as a yoga prop.

Using the gym''s supply of yoga blankets isn''t a delightful option, but I didn''t want to spend a fortune to have my own. This blanket was fairly priced, and is both soft enough and sturdy enough for its purpose. I do find it quite a bit heavier than the gym''s blankets, which adds more weight to the yoga bag in the morning. I haven''t washed it yet, but since it''s acrylic (though it feels like cotton) I don''t expect a problem.

Altus 6 In. Natural Leather Lifting Belt

Altus Athletic 6-Inch Natural Lifting BeltIt was a good weight belt. Definitely weight belts are thinner in actual leather width than they were a decade ago my 4-inch belt is certainly much thicker in leather width, which I think is good. Only problem with this one for me is it was too wide being 6-inches. I should''ve gotten a thinner 4-inch belt. I found with it this wide that it can cause issues where the top part digs into my back and the bottom portion digs into my butt moving too much. I''m thinking it''s great for taller or more heftier people. 4-inch belt for me. Otherwise, this belt has done what I needed it to and I''m happy with it for the times when I do use it. Just be sure you know why you''re getting a 6-inch belt and not because if a 4-inch belt is great then a 6-inch belt must be better. =\

Altus Athletic 5-Foot Latex Stretch Bands

Altus Athletic 5-Foot Latex Stretch BandsThey are not what they are suppose to be. They are only 4 feet long. They still show 5 feet long. Had to return them. They are not long enough to do anything with.

These stretch bands are resilent and perform well. Not flimsy at all and the colors are subdued. Much better than other bands I have used.

These stretch bands work great.... but expect to smell like latex for the rest of your workout!!

Also the bands do tend to fold over and form a narrow band, which can be painful depending on where it contacts

your body.

Timex Men''s T5K4029J Ironman 50-Lap Dual-Tech Silver Case Sports Watch

Timex Men''s T5K4029J Ironman 50-Lap Dual-Tech Silver Case Sports WatchAesthetically this watch is very pleasing. The first week that I had it I was very happy with the functionality of it. However, after one week the analog hands (inc the second hand) seized. I can move the analog hands manually, but they no longer keep time. The second hand is forever stuck at 18 seconds. If I had this watch longer then I would take it in for a new battery, etc. But instead I am just going to ask for a refund.

Watch band broke after two years of light use and Timex will not stand behind it. Watch band is part of the watch case and must be sent back to Timex for repair (for a 10 dollar fee). Bo not buy this watch.

Analog hands quit working within a week of purchasing watch. The digital display and large case don''t justify the price...even if it did work properly. I just spent $55 (On Sale!) for a $15 watch. This is the third Timex that I''ve purchased over the last couple of years that have had similar issues. They were great watches once upon a time, no more.

I''ve finally learned my lesson.

I purchased this watch in hopes of replacing be similar watch that Timex discontinued. It does... In fact, Timex improved it. The watchband is much sturdier with the same fit, and though the watch is basically plastic that looks metal it''s much more efficient. My last watch lost time and the batteries died more than once. In this watch the movements are plastic in the digital clock in the background has the added option of being turned off, not that you''d want to actually turn it off. At 1st I was skeptical about purchasing this watch, because the previous watch Billy had its biggest issues with the faulty watch bands that facilitated round filing the whole watch when it crapped out on you. I can''t see that happening with this new upgraded sturdy/rugged watchband. Overall, I can see this watch, lasting me to do 3 years, even with every day where.

My husband''s favorite is this dual display watch... and they are hard to find.

Timex has the best one we have found.

The display is easy to read, both analog and digital.

It is a manly size and looks handsome on him.

Also, it can show more than one time zone, which helps him when he travels.

A great watch it does it all and well!

Though the shipping was fast, these shirts were not what I was expecting; the material is harsh and scratchy and does not forms to your body, gapes in odd places. It also was a bit small through the bust, even though the rest of the shirt fit great and I ordered a size larger than i typically wear for a bit more work-out room.

Icebreaker Women''s Lily Pant

Icebreaker Women''s Lily PantI''m 5''9'''' and 135 lbs. and these fit like they were made for me. (I bought a medium)

They are really warm and not itchy.

I feel like they fit a bit weird in the crotch area... but only when I sit down.

They would definitely need to be hemmed for vertically challenged people and may fit funny on people with bigger thighs

I love them though... just depends on your body type

I love these pants more than any pants I have bought in years. They are warm, comfortable and washable. They do not stretch out over a week of wearing. Casual but nice enough to wear on errands. I found them the perfect length. Icebreaker does not seem to engage in vanity sizing so they run slightly small: I generally take a 6 in pants, sometimes 8, or 28-29 in various jeans, and these in a medium were perfect, none too large and would not have fit well any smaller. They are amazingly cozy. Once I got them I did not want to wear anything else in cool or cold weather.

I will buy as much Icebreaker as I can afford!

I was looking forward to getting these trousers I ordered from the USA as they are impossible to get in the UK. I already got the Villa Pants in XS and they fit perfectly so I ordered the XS in the lily so that I could have a slightly warmer pair of trousers for really cold days.

However, the XS felt too tight initially. I am only a UK size 8 (I believe this would be a size 4 in the US?)

The low cut waist band felt tight, as well as tight on the bum and clingy on the thighs.

I guess I had been expecting a thicker version of the villa pants although the description does say they are a snug fit and the picture shows them with a lower waist.

I was disappointed initially with the tight fit but it would be a hassle and expensive to send them back from the UK so I decided to follow advice from another review and see if they loosen with wear.

I have now been wearing them for two days and they are actually very comfortable. I thought the tight waist band would dig in but it doesn''t. I have been wearing them with a tunic to cover my bum and they look great. They make my legs look skinny. I cycled to work in them and didn''t need cycle clips because the kick flare is small enough that the trousers Don''t flap around in the bike chain. They were very comfortable to cycle in and yet looked smart enough for work with the tunic. I have worn them all day today as well and taken my kids for a cycle with out feeling frumpy when we got off to go to a cafe.

The reason I have given them four stars not five is because I do think the waist band could do with being a little looser by about half to one inch as it''s not very flattering under my mummy belly. Otherwise I love the trousers and their versatility.

Amy Bento''s Advanced Step Challenge 2 DVD

Amy Bento''s Advanced Step Challenge 2 DVDThis DVD is more than just a step workout. There are also two 15 minute ab workouts, one with a resistance band and the other uses a kettlebell (this one is excellent). Additionally, there are several premixes of which two use strength training from Amy''s Slo Mo DVD alternated with step segments to create interval workouts. It is true that the choreography of the step combos is very complex and fast paced. Even if you have been stepping for a long time, if you haven''t done complex choreo this is very challenging. There is a tutorial to teach the most intricate moves, but it can still be quite overwhelming at first. Part of it is that Amy doesn''t cue step by step. She gives some of the moves specific names in the tutorial and then cues them in the routine. I found this not very helpful. However, if you have the patience to learn and repeat, eventually you will get it. When you do, this is superfun to do. The best way to do this is to add one combo at a time to other workouts and to improvise when you get lost (don''t just stand there, do jumping jacks until you can catch up). If you like Tap Less Step More, Christi Taylor or Seasun Zieger''s workouts you will like this too.

But I have been doing exercise DVD''s long enough that with a little work I can pick up the routine. This one is different, however. Amy give you no time whatsoever with her cuing. She says it as she does it and the routine is fast, fast, fast! It would take me weeks and weeks just to get past the first routine! She does give you a move master type of thing to teach you her moves but unfortunately there is just a limited selection of what she does, it is not complete. I love Amy Bento but I will probably never do this one!

Dip Stand Angled Dipping Station Bars HD Machine

Dip Stand Angled Dipping Station Bars HD MachineAt half the cost of other free standing dip stations I was prepared for poor workmanship and finish. I was delightfully suprised by the quality of this product. Very sturdy and stable with a near perfect fit and finish. The knurling on the dip handles is very even and just aggressive enough to give good grip without absuing the skin on the hands. The item arrived in a single box with all hardware included. The parts fit together perfectly. The only slight negative is the assembly instructions. Only an exploded diagram was provided. However assembly is straight forward and simple enough that no instructions are needed.

Length:: 1:30 Mins

This is an awesome dip stand. I am going to be building a dipping belt for it and do some weighted dips! You end up pretty high in the air with this one since its almost 4 feet high (47 inches). But thats not a bad thing. This is a really great dip stand. I love it!

This was a great buy! The next comparable dip station that you can find on the web is priced at $200. If you check, the dimensions of that dip station are the same as this dip station. This dip station easily assembles in a matter of minutes. I weight 185 lbs and this dip station is very stable. No rocking, wobbling or moving. The material is very solid. The station can also be used to do abdominal crunches by resting your arms on the parallel bars. I am very pleased with this purchase.
