Momentum Short - Women''s by Moving Comfort

I ordered these in the gray color with teal side insets. Like other Moving Comfort apparel I own, the shorts are well-made and fit well, and the material is very cool and doesn''t seem to smell bad after a sweaty run. The inside pocket is handy for a key (though not convenient for an iPod). However, I''ve found the side pockets to be useless. Anything I''ve put in them bounces right out as soon as I start running. I learned to wedge my iPod in diagonally so that it''s stretched against the sides of the pockets and won''t fall out. However, this is eventually going to wear out the pockets and is hard to do when I''m in the middle of a run. I''m thinking of sewing some velcro closures onto the top of the pockets to keep things from jostling out. So all in all, I''m fairly disappointed in these shorts, and wish Moving Comfort had tested more thoroughly before selling them! An especial caveat: I tried running with my iPhone in a side pocket once--thinking the weight would keep it in the pocket--and it flew out within my first few steps. Good thing I had a protective cover on it. I wouldn''t recommend trying that.

I love these shorts. It has underwear built in which is perfect for going to the gym or running. The fabric soaks up sweat and it won''t fade in the wash because of the material.

Comfortable, breathable and nice style. I like that they fit mid to low waist. Elastic around the waist is not binding very smooth. Leg opening is substantial but not baggy. The material is so light it''s as if you are not wearing anything at all. Excellent for walking or jogging.
