I bought this for training and running with. The vest comes with 10 pound insert weights and has pockets for another 10 pounds of insert weights. It also has a big pocket in the back for inserting a plate style weight for more added weight. I never weighted the vest itself but I am guessing it is around 1-2 pounds. It also comes with the exercise straps which are pretty decent but I don''t really use them too much. Overall great weighted vest and great for training if you want the extra weight.
Non-staderd wieght load increase. Very effective, by evenly distributing weight over entire weight bearing area. Eliminates isolated muscle group workots and involves more groups in each excersize. If you like uniform overall increase in strength and mass, this is the way to go!
