Skirt Sports Women''s Lotta Breeze Capri Skirt

Skirt Sports Women''s Lotta Breeze Capri Skirt, Black, LargeI ran in the skirt for the first time today and it felt great! the capris rode up just below the knee however, but that is ok, capris normally do for me anyway. I loved the pocket on the side of the capris under the skirt, it held my phone perfectly and i never felt like it would fall out. The skirt is a great length. I am an athletic person with a medium build and curves, not stick thin, so it hid all my not-so-perfect areas. Bottom line, i loved them so much i would recommend them to anyone who wants to look good and feel feminine while running.

I had always been intrigued by people in running skirts. I never really understood why people would want to run in a skirt (I''m not a dress wearer....). But I took up running somewhat seriously a couple years ago and after trying so many different kinds of shorts that would ALWAYS ride up I started looking at other alternatives. I''m not thin enough to just wear those skin-tight shorts (and not sure I would wear them even if I were...) so I started looking at running skirts with the shorts underneath. At the time I was training for my first half-marathon and it was chilly outside so that brought me to the Skirt Sports skirt with capris underneath. I will never run in shorts again. I will invest in several running skirts, specifically only from Skirt Sports. I got my capris/skirt just in time for the half marathon and broke one of the cardinal rules of running....I ran in new gear for the race without trying it out beforehand. I loved it. The material is soft and light, the waistband is snug yet not binding, and THE POCKETS...the pockets and the hole in the side for your headphones are just the greatest. The capris are a little long for me (I''m 5''2") so I find myself adjusting them to hit more at my knees for comfort''s sake and they thankfully stay put.

A friend of mine tried a skirt from a different manufacturer and she hates it because the shorts ride up. I recently bought a Gym Girl skirt from Skirt Sports and I am not disappointed. It''s got the same great fabric and pockets and the shorts do not ride up. I can''t say enough good things about these running skirts, I''ll remain loyal to Skirt Sports unless they inexplicably change how they make their products.

I love this capri skirt! The fabric is lightweight and breathable. Very comfortable and nice coverage. I think it runs true to size. I am 5''9" and 150 lbs -I ordered the large and it is a bit big. A medium would have been better but I did not want to return it. I use it for running and gym workouts, so it does not matter to me if there is a little extra fabric in the skirt at the hips. It is cute and well constructed. Love it!

I have had my Lotta Breeze Capris for a year now and feel compelled to write a review as I love them so much! I bought these because I wanted warmth and style while winter running. My full-length compression tights work great for warmth and post-race recovery however, they were not necessarily something I wanted to wear while running through my hometown! These capris have the perfect amount of compression with micro-venting holes throughout to help you stay cool.

I am 5''2" and the length is just fine for me. They can hit mid-calf or I can pull them up a bit and they hit just below my knees. The built-in pockets on either side are so awesome! I store my iphone in one and don''t have to worry about bounce or movement for shorter runs. But, fair warning, by mile 10-13, it starts to almost fatigue the hold and I feel more movement. Not something I worry about but could get annoying at times (when you are at the point of a mid-long run and looking for something to focus on, this doesn''t help!) This wouldn''t be a problem with smaller ipods or phones though.

I now wear these to the gym several times a week for spinning and weight-lifting. I never have a problem with them and always feel comfortable and stylish. They are so worth every penny! And I am not really one to spend a lot of money on clothes to sweat in.

Enjoy!

I love this skirt/capri set! I am a curvy gal (usually a size 8 but I have really muscular thighs and a bootay) and the medium is perfect for me. It stays put (comfortable wide waistband that doesn''t budge and has no elastic to roll or buttons/snaps to dig in when under my fuel/water belt on long runs. The capris do ride up a bit on my calves and settle just under my knees (I''m 5''4")creating a little bit of rouching around my knees, but it''s not uncomfortable and is kind of flattering. The material is really light, wicks well, and I love that I feel cute in it. The skirt is long enough and has an a-line to it so I don''t feel self-concious (like i would if I was just in running tights) if I am picking up the kids or stopping off at the store before/after a workout. However, it''s also short enough so there''s no restriction of movement. I don''t use the pocket for my ipod (I only run with a little shuffle), but it''s great for an ID, housekey, and some gu).
