High quality to be this inexpensive.

This WCI computer was a major disappointment. My 10-12 year old wired bike computer wire broke so it was time to "upgrade". The WCI fork mounted sensor is 3-4 times the size of my 12 year old wired sensor. Granted the other one was wired however, after 12 years of technology advances I expected something a little more compact. The fork mounted sensor hangs precariously and is awkward. I ride both off and on road. I''ll be surprised if the WCI makes it through the summer. The display piece seems cheap, flimsy mount, and I can''t get it to reset trip after my first test ride. Changing computer functions when riding should be simple. The malfuntioning buttons on the WCI will be dangerous to change functions when riding.

Between the exposure to riding a lot and transporting my bike, I expect this WCI thing to be in the trash shortly. I miss my old reliable well made bike computer.

Installation took about 10 minutes with some minor tweaking. No hastle at all. I have been using it for about 5 weeks now and it works well. Not a lot of special functions but it has more than I need, which is just speed/distance/time. Display is clear and easy to read. Speed seems pretty accurate. I will have to wait to find out about durability but on a road bike, it shouldn''t encounter too much stress. Only down fall, is that the computer turns itself off instead of having an off button. Not a big deal but it will eat into the battery life. Overall, for the cheapest wireless one I could find, I am pleased. I have not tested it near other bikers with wireless odometers.

Good value for what I paid for it, but I was disappointed that I could not preset the total miles. I would have liked to have added the total miles that I have put on my bike. Also, the display can be a little hard to read in direct sunlight. I have worse. I bought one that was completely unreadable after only about 15 minutes in direct sunlight. But I also have one much better that is completely readable however long you are in the sun. Of course that was a more expensive model.

As a trip computer, it does the job fairly well. A bit of a pain to attach to the bicycle, it comes with zip ties, not the best option to use to keep the wheel sensor on.
