My 6yr old boy loves these. Size medium, he fits a size 12 boys shoe. I didn''t have any issues with shrinking as the other reviewer did. I wash and tumble dry them normally fwiw.

The bottom of the sock knits up to form an almost felt like base that is quite durable. The merino is almost completely impervious to smell. He''s worn these for several days (camping) and no bad smells.

For outdoor activities in winter, these socks can''t be improved on.

I''ve got a couple pair myself and the versatility for temperature hot or cold and the durability is unequalled.

Amazon promptly refunded me for this purchase when I washed them (inside out on the gentle cycle in cold water) with a bunch of our other wool socks. They went from fitting my 10 year old son to barely fitting my five year old in the process. They also came out of the low heat dryer the only pair all worn out and lint-balled looking. Not what you would expect after spending so much on a pair of boy''s socks.

Socks should be listed for toddler size instead. Not sure why the actual size is not listed instead of S, M or L. If your kids shoes size larger than toddler 13, these probably won''t fit.
