The DVDs provide a course in how to use it. The selection of videos is good, as there is enough selection to work on specific areas. The main complaint that I have is that they jump right in full throttle. They really should have a set of lessons that show you how to ease into it and to work on perfecting the form first instead of "okay let''s go, swing it this way, now rotate this" If you are out of shape I would STRONGLY suggest getting a 5lb weight to start with and THEN work up to the 15lb one. At least then there would be less wear and tear on you when you start swinging the weight around. Even so I do generally like it but be aware, there is no work in, it just goes BANG.

This system is positive for individuals who are sedentary or need to get up and just get active. Folks who like workout videos may or may not favor the format....a lot of cut and paste. If you are already an active person, pass on this. I love my kettlebell work out DVD''s. Not only am I getting a full body workout, I can get it done in twenty minutes. I have a very busy life and always had the "no time for exercise" excuse. Twenty minutes is perfect plus it come with two ten minutes DVD''s if I am really in a pinch. The book is full of diet and nutritional information that is easy to follow. I bought my kit with a fifteen lb. bell and probably should have started with a ten and built up.
