I have been looking around in stores for something not expensive and comfortable, and I have not found anything better than these. They are light weight and perfect for workouts at the gym. The fit seems true to size, maybe just a bit generous. I love them, they are just what I wanted.

I love these pants. They''re not too long, they wash well and they are comfortable to wear. They rub a little when I wear them on the treadmill for too long, but overall I get a LOT of use out of them.

I have a Kettler Favorit rower, and was looking for a band product that would allow me to be more efficient in changing the workout resistance levels. j/fit 75cm Stability Exercise Ball (Tomato Red)

This ball seems solidly-made out of thick, durable material and it does not let air out. However, the color is very different from the picture. On my screen it looks like a bright warm tomato red (as in the title) so I thought it would color-coordinate nicely with my other stuff in my room, but in reality it''s more of a dull red-pink, almost like the color of raw ahi tuna. Not what I expected and I don''t love it.

This is a good sturdy quality piece of equipment. I was afraid it might not be stable and function like some of the larger or more expensive reformers. This definitely holds it''s own and I''m glad I got this one because I can keep it by the wall and then easily slide it over for the workout. All of the parts work smoothly. As far as the trampoline in the lying down position, I need to start slowly or I get a little nauseous. Most importantly, I have a herniated disc in my center back and the Pilates exercises are helping me enormously. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this with alot of reservation. First, it is better made than I thought it would be. Second, it functions as well as the very pricey ones ($2000.00 and up). I started taking private one-on-one lessons on a reformer manufactured by Balanced Body and have learned how to use the machine. In the beginning, I couldn''t keep up the DVD''s, but now that I have had my private lesson ($53.00 an hour), I can do the DVD successful. Doing the private lesson really paid off in the long run, especially since it is cheaper to purchase the DVD instead of forking out the big bucks every 10 lessons.

I also purchased a long/short box, pole, and foot strap to use on the reformer with the corresponding DVD. These 3 pieces of equipment provides more a variety of excercise on the reformer. *This style doesn''t have all of the bells and whistles you would find on a reformer that is several thousand dollars, but not everyone needs all of the fancy stuff.

The set up was tricky, and it weighs over 100 lbs. Be sure to set it up in the room you plan on using it in. It is difficult to move once it is set up. It is is my basement accross from my 19 inch DVD HDTV. I put in the DVD and do the workout for 30 minutes. It workouts great for me.

Even my husband was shock in the decent quality. Really, what would you expect for $500.00? It worked better than we all thought. Kudos to Stamina!

I am a Pilates Reformer instructor and I wanted to pick one up for my house, but I don''t have enough time at home for a $2,000 machine (since I can go to the gym for access).

The bad first: It is what it is. There are very few physical adjustments available, however at 5''3, I fit well into the machine so that is not a problem for me, just a flaw in general. The weights are by bungee cords, not springs, so the resistance doesn''t vary much between bungees (as it would on a reformer with springs such as a studio Allegro). It does not have wheels to roll and it sits high off the ground (good for some exercises, but not good if I want to store it or if doing unstable exercises that high).

The positive: The machine works fine. I use it to try new (basic) exercises and it works well for my needs. The exercises I know are easily achieved on the machine, the straps are comfortable and the machine is relatively silent. I only used the jumping board/dvd, which I liked (and is harder than one would think). The resistances do range from easy to hard (I just wish there were more variations than 4 steps). There is nothing I actually dislike about the machine, I only wish there was a little more variety to position and weight.

I have no regrets in purchasing this machine and I enjoy using it. Considering the cost, this machine is a good investment for someone who uses it occasionally (I am not sure how it will wear over time) and wants to get basic exercises down.

I purchased this product several weeks ago. I am amazed at how wonderful it is. The platform and hand straps glide smoothly and quietly. The machine and platform were easy to assemble. (Be sure to assemble where you are going to have it set up as it is heavy. Also be sure that the pin that holds the platform in place is secure so the platform does not glide and pinch your fingers as you unfold the machine.) I am currently using Level I Pilates and Level I Rebounder videos and they are quite challenging. I think this machine will be great forever. There is also a chart that comes with many exercises shown so you do not even need the video. I like the platform as you can vacuum underneath it and do not have to move anything. I am 62 with bad knees and feel very comfortable with both the rebounder and the motion of the pilates.

I took a chance buying this because I live in Australia, but I couldn''t find anything here at the price I wanted to pay. I ordered 3 of these in different colours and they arrived promptly. I was worried about the sleeve length, but I might have shorter arms than others, my arms measure 44.5cm OR 17.5" (give or take 0.5cm/0.2") from armpit to my wrist. The sleeves are definitely full length, they don''t just sit on my wrists but go a little further just resting on the pad of my hand. When I put my arms out in front or stretch up, the sleeves pull back from my wrists about 5cm/2" or so, but that doesn''t bother me since I just pull them down again and I don''t spend much time with my arms that extended. The fabric is great, nice silky look. I got a size large, my measurements being: Waist 90cm/35.4" and Bust 108cm/42.5" and Hips 114cm/44.9" (the top does reach my hips). Wouldn''t want it tighter around my bust (although it''s not super tight) and it''s loose around my waist, but still gives me a figure. The fabric does stretch reasonably. Great cheap product overall!!

Had a hard time finding grappling gloves that didn''t have reviews complaining about the size being off. I could only find these in small/medium or large/x-large. People with small hands were saying the small/medium were too small and to go a size bigger. So that''s what I did and they are a bit too big. On another product, I saw someone recommend getting wrapping tape and buying bigger gloves so you could make them fit. I did buy the tape and will see how that goes.

The gloves are a little stiff, hoping that works out with use. The quality seems pretty good too. I don''t see anything glaringly obvious that would suggest a problem.

FYI, my review rating is based on the quality of the gloves, not the size/fit. If I had gone by the chart, a small/medium is probably what I needed and it is my own fault for listening to the reviews. However, on the other hand, fellow reviewers may be right about buying bigger and making them fit with tape.

I haven''t tested the gloves yet (hope to tonight) and if they feel like the stiffness will work out, then I will up them a star. If there is something wrong with them after I use them, I will come back and adjust the rating.

I feel like I have Moira right here with me as I do my exercise. This is a great DVD. The instructions are right where you need them. The timing is great. Gives you time to get into position and explains modifications which are always needed. Stamina InStride Electronic Stepper

After 2 weeks using it for 4-5 times per week & 45 minutes each time, this unit works great. The squeaking noise was little annoying but it went away after I WD-40ed it. For those of you couldn''t figure out how to oil this thing, the cable connectors were creating the squeaking sound. Find the two cable ends & just WD-40 them, the sound should go away.

I love working out; I have a gym membership and both a gazelle and the Stamina InStride Stepper at the house. I run, I hike, my boyfriend thinks I''m crazy. I like this stepper better than the expensive ones at the gym. Its sturdy yet portable, and unlike most pieces of exercise equipment, this one really can easily be stowed anywhere. Its great for in front of the TV. I''ve owned my stepper for about 6 monthes now and the only issue I''ve had is that it needed a little WD-40 (it was squeaking). You can definitely feel it in your thighs after a good workout. I''d recommend it to anyone. For an added boost, buy a couple weighted balls to hold during your workouts.

These are okay. They are very light weight, so they are breathable and comfortable. Have not washed them yet, so don''t know how well they perform after washing. Only thing is they run a bit large. I am a 36C, so my chest is not small at all and I am hispanic, no small hips either; I purchased these in medium and they are bigger than my usual medium size t-shirts. They are a bit long for my taste too. I could have gotten them in small, but I will have to keep them, as I am out of the US and transportation is quite expensive if I were to return them. If you are in the middle of two sizes, I would suggest you purchase the smaller size.

I usually get the Nike Legend shirt which costs about $5 more at $25 dollars but Amazon ships faster and for free so I decided to give this one a shot. Holding it in my hand, I thought "Wow, that feels good" but throwing it over my head, I said "Wow, that''s a comfortable shirt." Forget exercising, I could live in this shirt all day. It''s superbly comfortable. Really quality material. Nike, you have a run for your money.

UPDATE ON 11/21/2012: After loving the t-shirt I got in Peacock, I decided to get some in the other colors (Ruby, Canary and White). When I put on the second batch of shirts I had purchased, it felt like I had gone DOWN in size even though I had purchased the same size (XL). Strange.

I took out the original shirt I had purchased in Peacock and put them side by side and then on top of each other. As soon as I lay the new shirt in Canary (and then did the same with White and Ruby), I realized that the original shirt in Peacock was actually longer in length and wider across. I looked at the tags attached to all the shirts and they matched. But when I looked at the label on the collar, it was noticeably different. It also stated that the Peacock shirt had been manufactured in El Salvador. Meanwhile, the new Ruby, Canary, and White versions I had purchased recently were made in Mexico and are shorter, tighter and more fitted.

I''m surprised there aren''t more mixed reviews as it is completely possible that people are getting the same styles but as I noted, the quality control is completely off because depending on where the shirt was manufactured you either get a boxier, longer shirt or a tighter, shorter, fitted shirt. In the same style!

I wouldn''t have even noticed if they had fit remotely similar but it was like I had bought two different styles of shirts. But the only difference is where they were manufactured, the shirts all say the same "style" according to ASICS: WR1163.

I''m petite (5''3") and I like the length of the original shirt in Peacock from El Salvador. I imagine someone taller would have a problem with the Mexican shirts being too short.

Bodylastics 21 pcs Resistance Bands *STRONG MAN XT STACKABLE Set (262 LBS.)

I love this band system and this is the second Bodylastics system I have bought in the past two months. I bought this one to get the new weights and the upgraded handles and for it to be more portable when I travel. I initially bought the Mega resistance set which I use every day to work out at home with. This set along with the videos on liveexercise.com are all you need to get a great workout. I highly recommend Bodylastic band sets as they are very well made and the clip system they use makes it very easy to add and subtract weight.

Bodylastics is a superb, lightweight, relatively inexpensive exercise product. For building strength and muscle in the biceps, triceps, chest, abs, and back this at least comes close to other much more expensive machines, but I want to focus on its effect on my legs more than anything. I just did another leg work out and my thighs and glutes are still a bit sore two days later. I hate working out my legs more than any other part of me, but this product has sculpted me bellow the waist unlike I''d ever thought was possible. Overall it is easy to use and comes with very good instructions on the different exercises. Many of the exercises require other equipment, but I would say just get an exercises ball and make sure you have a door that closes firmly where you work out and you''ll be able to do 90% of them.

Now a word of caution: The anti-snap technology doesn''t mean these bands can''t break. I had two snap in about a year, though keep in mind I used it a lot in that time, and judging by others'' comments it''s probably a little bad luck, and perhaps some minor misuse of the product that contributed to it. Both times they broke near one of the handles and both times I pulled it back it in a jerky motion probably quicker than was appropriate for the exercise. But there''s no doubt these bands are high quality. I can''t give it a perfect score because of the snaps, though the fact that I''m tempted to should tell you how highly I still value the product.

Packed this recently for a vacation and it worked great. The door anchors are very easy to use. The resistance is all relative to how you position yourself. For example when standing on the bands and doing curls, the further your feet are apart the more resistance it will be. However I was able to get a good workout. Not as good as weights, but a whole lot better than nothing.

If I knew it was this bright I probably wouldnt have bought it. But anyways. It fits good and its light and comfortable. The small is good i also ordered a different one in a medium and it was a bit too loose. I wanted something that wasn''t tight but form fitting the small does that for me. I''m about 135lbs 5''6. It was a good buy when I got it on sale for $9.

ASICS Men''s Core Pocketed Short

In looking for running shorts I have a couple of critical criteria that I look for. The shorts should have a good inner brief...not too tight but provides a bit of support. It should have a key pocket in the front that is just big enough to hold a single key and it should have a flap over the top to prevent it from jarring loose (real disaster to find that your car key found its way out somewhere on the last 10 miles of trail when you return...don''t ask it happened.). Fabric should be light weight to not weigh you down and the length shouldn''t constrict your running or prevent good air circulation to keep you cool. These shorts hit the mark on all of these items. They also boast slash side pockets that when empty you don''t even know they''re there. But give you a place to put your key ring and wallet when you hit the juice bar (or whatever) following your run....(don''t have to change shorts in your car!)

Longevity wise, time will tell. The brief elastic is a bit thin and is already beginning to loose it''s ability to return after about a year. I usually look to get 5+ years out of my shorts using them once per week and machine washing (drip dry). So far so good.

These shorts are great for distance running. They''re lined for a comfortable fit yet the outer shell is baggy for a nice fit. The only thing I wish were different is that the pockets had zippers.

These really are the perfect legging. When I first pulled them on, my first thought was that they felt like a second skin. They''re the perfect length and fit for me, and they look great also! Additionally, they stay up really well when I work out, which I love. I hate being distracted by having to constantly pull them up, as I have with other leggings. Best workout pants I own for sure! I must add that I am 5''1" so if you''re tall they might not fit as well.

The fit is good and the pants look as reflected in the photos, however, the crotch of the pants falls very easily like panty hose, They do not grip the butt as they should. Maybe I selected a size too big, but typically I get that size in other yoga pants.

I''ve been using the 65 cm body ball for the past 3 months as an everyday computer chair at home. I purchased this product because I didn''t want to spend 60-80 dollars on a real computer chair. I also figured, some claim it''s a very healthy alternative, so why not? Looking at different products, I was a little confused as to what size to get. I''m 5''10 and 150 lbs. I''ve only used the 65 cm one, so I can''t directly compare, but I think this one fits great size-wise. It is able to be inflated to a spot where my knees are at about a 90 degree bend and my eyes are a couple inches below the top of my monitor-two important criteria for sitting in general and while using a computer.

The included foot pump is kind of cheap, but it gets the job done without any problems. I aired it up twice in the first week, and haven''t added any air since then. After 3 months, it could use a little air though. Also included is a ruler to measure the circumference for proper inflation. I didn''t air it up all the way to where it tells you to, that seemed like entering popping territory. I''m sure it would probably be just fine. The ball seems very stable and strong.

It''s important to remember that using an exercise ball as a chair doesn''t magically give you great posture. You can have just as bad posture on a ball as in a normal chair. This was difficult in the first week or two; but you get used to it. I still catch myself slouching sometimes. You might also get sore when you first start using it, too. This will go away after a week or two. Overall, I think this is a great alternative to a chair and it''s a lot more fun, as you will most likely find yourself moving or bouncing around while you use it.

I remember seeing these back in 1998. Back then, I thought these things were a joke. But after seeing the results on other people, I decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, I was in for an experience!

The first time I sat on one, I ended up rolling off and falling on the floor. I''m normally coordinated and fairly graceful. However, I had no understanding of the proper use of the equipment. The awesome college girl who was working out beside me was polite enough to not stare at your very embarrassed, and very red-in-the-face, narrator. Eventually, I got enough courage to ask one of the trainers for help. She showed me the proper way to use the ball. And no, you should not try to do sit-ups while sitting on the ball. Basically, you use a lot of the muscles in your midsection to balance, and then you lift your chin upwards, towards the ceiling.

I was never consistent at using the ball. But now, nine years later, I decided that I had better do something about my exponentially expanding midsection. I no longer drink beer or alcohol. However, my lack of physical activity and my love of video games have caught up with me during the last six months. I have gained seven pounds, during the last half-year. And they went to the worst possible place of all, all seven of those pounds, to my waist.

Please keep in mind, dear reader, that this ball alone will not shrink your belly. It will not get rid of excess body fat. Depending on what you want to accomplish, how far off you are currently, and your body type, a whole lifestyle change might be needed. Your diet and your exercise routine have to work together. You can lose body fat simply by cutting back your calories. You won''t want to cut much protein though. You need that to help you keep your lean body mass.

By the way, if you''re not very coordinated, I suggests that you purchase on of these and start off using it at home. That way, when you do use the one at the gym, you can look graceful doing it.

Inflating this ball can be a big hassle. The pump that came with it is obviously made out of inexpensive (cheap!) material. But, hey, look at the low price of the unit! Besides, once you get the ball inflated, there is very little need to ever have to reinflate it again. When you are inflating the ball for the first time, please keep in mind that there is no valve on the ball. As soon as you remove the pump''s needle, the air will start to come out of the ball. Basically, you will have to put the stopper on very quickly. You can put a little bit of nail polish on the stopper to keep it from coming out. I used hair spray though. So far, no leaks.
