These shorts run really small, so where I am normally a large, I have to buy the 2XL. But I knew that going in, so it wasn''t a problem. These are VERY comfortable shorts with a soft waistband. I hate the elastic waistbands on the Soffee shorts b/c they rub against your skin when you start to sweat. This waistband is covered with fabric. The shorts are a great length as well. They are a little short on me (5''3), but that''s also what makes them so comfortable!
