There are several yoga mats to consider when doing an at home exercise program. At the time I bought this, it was only $30, so I decided to give it a try. When I first opened it, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It had a strong chemical odor to it. But wanting to give it a try, I toughed out through the smell. I used this first for power 90, noticing that it moves very slightly when you''re stretching, but it wasn''t as bad as the throw rug I used before. When I did cardio 3-4, it seemed to fuel my legs, the yoga mat absorbed all of the pressure from my running lunges and made me bounce right into another one. It actually made me exhausted at first, because this yoga mat helped me go so fast, I was doubling what Tony Horton was doing! After power 90, I saw fantastic results (especially since I was considered obese before doing it and lost 20 pounds after only 2 months), so I decided to put my yoga mat (and my body =P) to the test by purchasing Insanity. (If you buy insanity buy it off of teambeachbody.com, its cheaper than amazon and they give you a bonus free workout that otherwise you would pay $20 for) Although I haven''t officially began it yet ( on account of getting a nasty cold) I did a few workouts and the yoga mat held its own, even on the pounds of sweat I was pouring on it. In conclusion its a great solution for anyone who works out on a wood or tiled floor as long as you can deal with the smell the first few weeks.Pros:

Not overly cushiony, but really grippy when in those odd positions where you feel your hands or feet might slip out. Really nice product!
